I booked a car and right after I cancelled. This happened back in November 2023, after cancellation no money reverted to my account and since Novemver 2023 no response even if I sent couple of notification to the support desk about this.
EconomyBooking's full coverage isn't helping. It's been five months since the accident, and I still haven't received my money back. It's a good idea to go with the rental company's insurance directly instead of relying on Full Coverage.
Their response time is really slow, and there's no one I can contact to understand what's happening.

I rented a car and of course paid in advance. I made a 1 day mistake on the pick up date. The website indicated I could cancel with a $60 charge or modify my reservation. I spent over an hour navigating my app and their website trying to find where I could make the change. I finally found their phone number and got some lackluster overseas customer service representative who I could barely understand and said he couldn't help me from his end. He said his name was Ali, but who knows. He said the only way to modify the reservation was to cancel it with the penalty and start all over. He said I could rebook and there would be a blue box in the left corner called a "wallet" which would pay for my new reservation. I made the new reservation and all I saw was that they wanted me to pay for the reservation again. Naïvely.I thought the "wallet" might be on the next page. Unfortunately I have now paid over $1,000 for 2 reservations. I cancelled both reservations to the tune of $120.00 and he said I wouldn't see the money for 3 weeks. He was very nonchalant, and didn't seem to care or try and help me.After I told him, I was going to pursue this further online, with the Better Business Bureau, he started sending me all of these emails like he was trying to help me. I was a VP for Time Warner and this is a scam and horrific customer service. Also the price of the car was much higher the 2nd time I tried to book it. BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM ECONOMY BOOKINGS

I rented two vehicles with insurance coverage on their website. The confirmation I had stated that I would be responsible for about $70 at the counter when I arrived. When I showed up to pick up the cars, I was told that they had received no money, and that I would be responsible for the entire cost. Additionally, my reservation did not include insurance, so I had to add that on at an additional cost. When I reached out to EconomyBookings to rectify the situation and get my money refunded, I was told that because I added the insurance onto the rental (which was supposed to already have been included), that I changed the "terms" of the agreement and therefore they could just keep my money. I have fought this for months and they refuse to do anything. I tried to fight with my credit card company as well and because the transaction processed more than 90 days ago (because I booked the rental 6 months in advance), there was nothing they could do. So now I am simply out all my money from this shady company. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

I rented a car from Economy Bookings inn Spain. My plane was delayed and I got to the airport several hours after my reservation. When I went to pick up my car I was told that my reservation was cancelled. No explanation was provided for the cancellation. I had to book a replacement car at the airport which turned out to be a nightmare. Then when I explained this to Economy Bookings and asked for a refund they told me they were investigating this. Two months later after sending me several emails, I was told that this was my fault for not picking up the car at the arranged time and date even though no explanation was given as to whether the car was still available or if not whether another care would have been available. If I could them a zero I would do so.

Eveything was good. I received not so modern car but got the cheapest offer on the market. So if you want the best prices - go with Economybookings.
Economy Booking was a total scam. I was looking for the best deal on the internet for a trip to Dublin Ireland and found Economy Booking offered the best price. I booked the rental car for 7 days and the site suggested I add the full coverage insurance from a third party because their insurance is excluded in Ireland for US citizens. Then they offered me the third party insurance on their site to purchase. I went ahead and paid 139.03 EUR (151.09 USD). When I arrived in Dublin Eurocar said they could not accept the payment from Economy Bookings and I had to pay Eurocar another 353.83 EUR for the 7 Days. When I got back to the US I contacted *******@bookinggroup.com to explain the situation and request a refund. It took 4 emails before I good any response. To make a long story short It took them 45 days to get back to me declining by refund. They swindled my money and I ended up paying 492.86 EUR for using Economy Booking!

Plz people listen, can in August 2023 I took a trip with family and friends to Guadalajara Mexico. It was our first time there, I find it very convenient to have your own transportation to get around better and desire. So I was doing my research to find economical car rental places for me, who doesn't like to save money right! Anyways I made a reservation for a minivan they had me a quote for like 508.00 for the total of 6 days. Once I got to the rental place everything change, I ended up paying a little over 1500.00 US dollars they totally ripped me off. At this point they had my reservation payment they wouldn't refund me I had not much choice and took the car. Never again in my life will I use " Economyboolings" it took me long to remember to write this review, I had the time now and an email that economy booking just sent me reminded me to write this review. Priceless car rental company,This company is a scam, they try to charge me & everyone that rented a car a "mandatory"insurance policy@ $30.00 a day with no option, I refused had to go back to airport rent another car from other company, wasted half the day! Stay away from them!

On November 9,2023, I received a confirmation from EconomyBookings.com:
"Having investigated the issue, the Full Coverage refund in the amount of 991.00 EUR has been confirmed and proceeded to our financial department. The refund will be applied within 30 working days."
Although I provided all the necessary account details that they requested, and although much more than 30 days had passed, no refund from EconomyBookings was made! Multiple emails that I sent were just cynically ignored. Telephone numbers of refund or financial departments are not available. The only way to contact them is the sales department. I talked to them many times. The only answer I received was "Your case is processing...".
Such an awful attitude towards a client has no explanation. Dealing with EconomyBookings is very stressful, untransparent, and humiliating. Either they act like a scam company or they actually ARE a scam company. It seems that I will never get any refund.

Hello, I arrived at tenerife airport with a reservation for goldcar. Due to a forgotten driving licence I was unable to collect the car at tenerife south airport. The employee at reception said that we would be entitled to a full refund of the rental as we had not taken the car. We are waiting for a refund of 260.16€ on reservation B*******.

These good reviews are all probably from fake accounts of EconomyBookings! Their free cancelation is a scam! After I canceled my booking 2 weeks before the reserved time, my money (around CAD 260) went into a "credit" account on their portal, and when I tried withdrawing it, they told me I had to pay a 60 euro "Resource Subscription Fee". Then I proceeded with the withdrawal, but nothing happened! No confirmation email/msg and MY MONEY HAS NEVER GOT BACK TO MY ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD! Stay away from this scammer! What an absolute SCAM! I always purchase full insurance when renting a car to be sure everything is covered, so when I booked through economic bookings, I paid 180€ to reserve the car with all the insurances possible, only to find out in the Sixt office at the day of pick up that the insurance basically only covers up to 1000$ of damage and only to the Sixt agency, not to other party included in possible accident! All the other financial responsibility would be at my costs without any limit! Also there was no third party protection included even if during the first steps of reservation it was stated that everything is covered, including third parties. Of course when I found out all this, I was already at the counter, so NO REFUND WHATSOEVER! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS they will only SCAM YOU

Beware, economybookings.com free cancellation is not truly free cancellation. Only they will provide as credit in their website. If you want money back in your credit card then it will be with additional $65 as Resource Subscription Fee for processing the refund. Contacted Customer care support, they said, you read and agreed while booking the car on the terms and conditions. Very greedy, putting back on customer as customer's fault not reading the terms and conditions.

After a delayed flight to Dominican Republic, We've been told by the car rental that they didn't have any car for us despite having paid our réservation in full. We were left strandedin at 10:30pmat the airport.
Economy Booking have been mess than helpful, refusing to give us à refunded because we should have been on time to pick-up our car ( we were 3 jours late)

The verbiage of fully refundable is misleading.I booked a rental car and cancelled it within 10 mins because of incorrect information only to find out that the refund goes to their credit wallet and not the original form of the payment. To transfer it to the original form of payment there is charge of usd 65. When contacted the customer service,the person was rude and intimidating with loud voice.The information on the website is misleading and confusing. I strongly recommend to stay away.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
