Sent the wrong item

They sent me the wrong item then when I contacted them they said that that's what I ordered. I sent him the packing slip with the right # on it and I get no response. So I paid $65 for some markers. The tool I wanted is for feeding Tig wire for my disabled hand.

Lea was very quick in filling my order to day. I would like to recommend Eastwood rust repair products. In keeping my Dodge Ram 2500 Quid-cab 4x4 truck in show room appearance by using rust converter, then Rust ENCAPSULATOR, and finally 3X black paint for the under chasse frame.

Rip off company - do not use

They canceled an order without notifying me. They say they did. Order was paid with a $250 gift card. According to Eastwood, the gift card no longer exists and I receive anything. Essentially, a $250 rip off. Filed complaint with BBB and they ignored that too. Do not do business with this company.

Recently I was trying to place an order on line for the Opta Flow primer but was not able to complete m order do to system problems. I ended up calling the phone number for order placement. I spoke to Tanya K. And she spent quite a bit of time working through the issues with placing the order, but in the end we were able to place the order. I am always satisfied with Eastwood products. Eastwood provided top notch service to me on an item a few weeks ago. I had an issue in the online purchasing department but a quick phone call the next morning lands me with Brianna C. Who took care of my issue in minutes and also I feel went above the call of duty and replied shortly after or call in an email with some information and products they support. Great job and a great experience in buying online. I will be dealing with Eastwood again in the future for my resto needs.

An item, purchased through Amazon, was returned for a refund via UPS.
The item was received by Eastwood, (as tracked by UPS) and my money was refunded.
A year later they are about to send my "unpaid bill" to a collection agency?
I called the company and there was a mix up related to Amazon returns. The customer service rep took care of it immediately and they agreed it was an error on their part. Phew! Things like this happen from time to time but they were quick to set things right.

I made a big mistake writing a review on Eastwood. I don't read reviews and I wrote my first one. Eastwood replaced my welder I purchased from them.It had a problem the Lady at customer service help me and 3 day's later I've got a new welder I'll recommend Eastwood to everyone The warranty is real

I purchased a Plasma cutter versa cut 60. The machine is nice, works great. However the torch stopped working after about the 4th use. Contacted eastwood to see what could be done, I wasn't looking for anything free. After sending in pics, I was told that it could have been machine error, or operator error that caused this issue. I wasn't looking for anything for free,, was told I had to buy a new $360 dollar torch. Got pretty disappointed about that. The customer service eastwood has is not what I would have hoped it would be, since this was a new machine, and I was willing to take on half the payment for new torch. Eastwood did say they would give a 20% discount. The machine is only 3months old, and only been used 4 times. It was cutting fine then just stopped working. I have since bought another machine a Lotos 60 from a guy. It didn't work right out the box. ( he never hooked it up). I called them and they sent me a new computer board to fix it at no charge. And I didn't even buy the dam machine from them..

Do not care about Customer or Customer Service

I would give a zero star if they allowed me to. I ordered from Eastwood on April 1st with a promise to get my product by April 5th. On April 6th I emailed and Customer Service (a day later) said that I didn't have an order. (I forwarded them the confirmation email), then they said that the address was wrong..."you mean the same address other material was just ordered to from your site?"... They said they would get it shipped out. April 13th I still had not received a shipping confirmation. So I called... BIG mistake. Their customer service team could care less if they make a mistake. My order was still in processing. About 45 minutes later I received NO apology, NO reason for the order not being shipped and I was not allowed to speak to a manager. Though the manager did promise it would be shipped out that day after I told them the least they could do was get it out that day (they wanted to wait another 2 days). Well it has been two days and I still don't have a shipping confirmation. So their promises are also false. Well folks an apology goes a long way, as does trying to make your mistake right. You have done neither. It is April 14th with no hope of getting my material I have already paid for...

Site says order within x amount of time to get as early as Friday for both products I ordered which were both in stock, that was Tuesday afternoon. Could have got the same stuff from Amazon with free shipping for about 1/2 the price but wouldn't get it til Monday. Needed my parts by the weekend so bit the bullet and ordered from Eastwood, had to pay about $20 for shipping too. Got no confirmation my order was received, no tracking number, no communication what so ever. Called Eastwood Thursday evening, waited on hold forever, got to speak with a rep who was rude and told me I couldn't cancel my order because it was already on the truck. Well 2 days later I get an email saying my items have shipped, expected arrival of this coming Wednesday, and a tracking number which when I click on it only says "Shipment information sent to fed ex" and "Label created". So apparently the rep I spoke with outright lied to me saying it was already on the truck refusing to cancel my order. I'm going to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge and refuse package when it arrives. Guess I should have read the reviews before ordering fromm Eastwood. They used to be a reputable company, but it's very evident from the mostly horrible reviews that Eastwood doesn't give a rats a$$ about its customers and customer service is actually company service. I hope it was worth it because it's the last business I'll ever do with Eastwood. No stars, one would be way too much. Update: just added a screenshot of what I was seeing when ordering my stuff, this screenshot was taken Monday morning April 4th, but shows how it's so misleading, says "In Stock Get it as early as Thursday, April 07 if you order in the next 28 hr(s) 29 min(s)!" So one would assume if I order it within the next 28 hours I would have it by Thursday. My order was placed on Tuesday March 29th saying if I placed it within so many hours get it by Friday April 1st. Just got updated tracking info, fed ex picked it up early this morning, Monday April 4th. Pretty sure I won't receive it by Friday April 1st at this point. Eastwood has been unresponsive to my emails.

BACK ORDERED DATE NEVER PROMISED

It would say one date, once it reaches that date of back in stock, the date switches to a later date. Asking for a refund is like pulling a tooth for them. It has to be "approved from the manager" even though it's been over a week since I asked for a refund for a product that wasn't even in stock to begin with. I recommend going elsewhere like Amazon.

Placed an order for the first time with Eastwood on 2/22/22, though I never received a confirmation e-mail. A couple days later, 2/24, I received an e-mail from kustomerapp.com requesting specific information about my billing information for the Eastwood order, including my physical location at the time of order (purportedly for fraud protection). This seemed suspicious as if a phishing attempt, so I contacted *******@eastwood.com to ask if this was a legitimate e-mail on 2/28. They replied late that night indicating that it was. I did not see this e-mail until the next day, by which time they had already canceled my order. I'm unable to place another one online (with any of my valid and legitimate credit cards). Apparently my address is blacklisted now in their records? Makes no sense, as the order was being shipped to my billing address (home) and for personal use. Also, it's not as if I was ordering thousands of dollars of welding equipment or other high dollar equipment - it was a single SCT power tool.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Do not waste your time or money with this company. I ordered an air compressor on February 2nd for almost $2000. 00. The order was to take 7 to 10 days to process when I called on February 15 the representative at Eastwood told me it should be shipping out in next day or two as it was in stock. On February 17th I received an automated email telling me it would not be shipping out and may or may not ship out in next 30 days. When I called in to check on it I was told I would receive an email the following day. I called customer service again and was told the agent that handled it yestersday was the only one who could help and maybe I would hear something on Monday. The agent was extremely rude and talked over me so I
asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor called me back and refused to identify himself. I was told that the only way resolve this is by email. All I can do is wait around for an email or cancel by email only. The customer service is horrible and they are holding onto $1770 of my money and refuse to be helpful. Not only are they dragging out the resolution they are wasting more of my time while I wait when I could purchase the item elsewhere. I will never use this company agan.

Like every comment about customer service, worst customer service. They are liars and not professional, they will hang up on you and will not able to call them again. Package did not delivered to right address, I leave in NC they deliver it to my old address even I changed my profile in their system. The worst part is they will not accept their mistake. They are blaming PayPal. Better buy on your local store.

They moderate their reviews, not trustworthy

For Brevity, I'll skip a lot of the details. Their free shipping option is FedEx Smartpost. Which is SLOW. So if you want your stuff in a timely manner, expect to pay for shipping.

They also "moderate" their reviews. As I type this, I got an email saying my review was moderated. It was a negative review that they decided not to post to their website. Hmm

Their return policy is pretty good. But you want to do an exchange because of something faulty, expect that to take a while as well. The process goes like this. Call customer service and say my tool is faulty, customer service says you need to email help. Eastwood. "but I kind of need this thing now, I have a project i'm approaching a deadline, can you send me a replacement?" she repeated that I needed to email help. Eastwood. I hung up with her and sent the email, with photos. This was Tuesday. I got a reply on Friday to return it and after they processes it they will ship me a replacement.

So I have to wait for it to ship there, and then wait, and I quote "72 hours for processing" and then wait for my replacement to be shipped back to me.

Knowing I needed it now, I ordered the same thing on Amazon and got it at my door before I got my reply email from Eastwood. In short, they make it way to inconvenient for their customers to take advantage of their return policy for it to even be worth the trouble.

I started by writing a scathing review of Eastwood based on my shipping experience with FedEx. Eastwood shipped to the wrong address and things went progressively worse with FedEx until they lost the order, then denied my freight claim. I then when to Eastwood customer service who refunded the order and resolved my issues on this order. I'm here to say I'll order again from Eastwood.

I ordered the foot pedal/abrasive gun and specified an address for delivery, my house. The FedEx tracking info showed it delivered to my residence with a signature for someone who never worked here. I searched through the building and couldn't find a package. Then FedEx sends a prompt showing the package out again for delivery with no specified address, this time it turns out to someone in San Francisco. Needless to say I never received any delivery and am out $116. I would have rated this 0 but had to list a 1 at minimum
