The customer is ALWAYS wrong

This is unbelievable poor customer service. Poor website function, ZERO communication, zero accountability and no attempt to correct or fix THEIR issues. This company has no problem failing on order, billing, delivery and communication but they will hold customers 100% responsible for every failing they have. NEVER AGAIN will they get a penny. Prismatic Powders has never pulled this garbage.

Buyer beware
December 23, 2021

Eastwood is one of those companies you should research first, they are notorious for high pricing, shipment gouging, and slow delivery. They will not allow cancellation of an order, on a $75 order there was an additional $25 for shipping. Most of their profit is made in shipping. I would say it's mostly my fault for being in a hurry, and not doing my research, I found the exact products on eBay for 25% the cost and free shipping.

Thank you for your review Richard, I do apologize that your experience was not up to par. I do see that your order did have a shipping fee of $25. This was the direct shipping fee from FedEx for your order. We do offer free shipping promotions through out the year. We did have free shipping on order over $150 but your order did not meet that threshold.

I orderd a hoist in july knowing the it was on back order. In august i checked on it was told ship date was sept 20th. On the 9th i went to download the spec sheet so i could start getting my shop ready for the hoist. Showed was in stock. So i called to check on it. Was told my order had been canceled for some reason (they did not know why). All they could do was reorder for $900 more. I wanted a price adjustment because i did not cancel the order i was told they would. They were supposed to call me the next day with shipping but no one called. When i called back i was told they could not give me the original price. I talked to 3 different managers they told me it was on the manufacturer end. So i called the manufacturer they told me they do not cancel orders that comes from the dealers. They pulled up the email showing the cancel order from the dealer. After all this i did some research on line and found another dealer of the same hoist so i called them and got the same hoist for $50 cheaper than the original price at eastwood. I wrote a letter to the ceo of eastwood Brian Huck about what happend. And got no response from him. I am not really surprised at this. Because everyone i talked to there told me they would get back to me. And no one ever did. I have bought other things from eastwood before this and really liked them. But after this experience. Knowing that they really dont care. I will probable never buy from them again. And tell everyone i talk to to never buy from them.

Horrible Customer Service

Ordered an item almost 4 weeks ago. Never received the item. I contacted Eastwood Company 3 times to to cancel this order and refund my money. They refused to do either, their respond is always the same - we will get back with you shortly. Had to open a case with my credit card company.

I purchased a plasma cutter from them quite awhile ago and then I got sick and was not able to use it. I got well and went to use it and all hell broke loose air was rushing inside and it was dead from there. They did send me a new valve and I tried to use it again and the same valve went out and my torch burned up. It seems like they buy the cheapest they can and talk you into quality! I guess they lost at least one customer. I trusted them, do not sell junk to real street Rodders!

Orders not processed
December 7, 2021

Placed an order for three items. After a week of not processing called three times and told it would be pushed up for processing. Still was not done and then was informed when I called the forth time all items were on backorder.

I ordered a drill press and received a bandsaw blade instead. This was probably Jet's fault however eastwood's customer service has been very poor! It takes 2-3 days for an email reply and they still haven't refunded my money or arranged a return after two weeks. I'm close to calling my credit card company about them.

I ordered 2 items 1 arrived damaged, 1 never came. I contacted Eastwood on the day the damaged item arrived. Several calls and probably 25 emails later we are no closer to resolving this than we were on day 1. They keep telling me they're looking into in and someone will get back to me. This is not a complicated situation. Its been going on since Sept 27th and is now Oct 11th.

Always had good experiences.

Not sure why so many angry reviews. I have many Eastwood tools in my shop from tool carts to torque wrenches and they are all fine. My 3/8 electronic torque wrench is one of my favorite tools. I recently purchased a MIG 140 welder. The welder works great but the cheesy regulator they include with it was leaking through and therefore not regulating. I understand that they are in competition with other bargain welders and can't give you a $100 regulator with your welder, so I ordered a better one from another vendor. I told Eastwood about the faulty regulator. They immediately offered a new one. I said I didn't really want another cheapie so how about store credit. The offered a 15% discount on my next $99 or more order. Seems fair to me. Like their products, like the web site and like the good warranties.

I don't usually write reviews, but people, watch this company I tried to order a 300 inverter welder, there website was down so I called to place the order via, phone my credit wouldn't go through, the representative told me it was my bank so I called my bank they said no that wasn't the case, so I took this mess as a sign, 10 days later i am alarted that my credit card is BEING USED! At East wood, I immediately call East would main off in PA, the representative basically called me a liar they said they don't charge the costumer until the item ( the one I didn't ORDER) ships and there was no shipping order,, there was also no email confirmation sent to me that a item had been purchased OR shipped so I can only assume SOMEONE at Eastwood was attempting felony card thief! The representative did not deny that they ran the transaction 10 days later AFTER THEY WERE TOLD, the mixup was due to there card system, and to halt any further activity! She actually confirmed my story and could not offer any excuses as to why this occurred or how to fix it, ONLY THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A FULL REFUND, I am writing this review almost a week later after my money was fraudulently taken from my account! Never ever again we'll I do business with this company this was the first time and absolutely the last

Very Poor Parts Support
September 14, 2021

I have been trying to get replacement wire drive rollers for my MP250i welder for 5 months. You would think this would be easy to source but Eastwood can't have a parts catalogue on these welders, They asked for these photos of the parts needed back in May. You would think they would know what the part is. There is already a new version of this welder and they don't know how to get parts for this older version? Thank god I am not a business that relies on this welder daily.
I have emailed Kelly in Oct, the Eastwood Rep., who replied to this review. It is now January 2022 and am not getting any further with the parts support. This is pretty well a new welder and they can't provide parts. I have not heard anything more since the end of Nov 2021. I am going to have to get a local machinist to duplicate these rollers I guess. NOT happy.

Buyers beware
August 6, 2021

I ordered primer and primer activator. I only got the activator. After calling them they said the primer was on back order. I got hung up on 3 times by their customer service reps. And then they blocked my number. I called the next day off my husband's phone and talked to Debbie. The best customer service representative I had dealt with. She said she was issuing me a full refund. This was almost a month ago. I still have not recieved my money back. Nor my product which I no longer need. Because I went with a more trust worthy company. Customer is the worst I have ever had. They don't tell you when something is on back order. They hang up on you. And when you are not satisfied with their services the block your number. For some reason thinking that is the only number you can call on. I have been fighting for almost a month and they still have my $114.37. And their product. Worst company to do business with do not recommend! Go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle that I have been going through.

2.5 weeks after order placed for their overpriced paint. No emailed confirmation. No response to several emails. And get this…. They say after you place an order it cannot be cancelled. Really? Lol my credit card company begs to differ. And try sending an email to *******@eastwood.com. "Mailbox is full". Seriously can't make this up. They are running borderline criminal at this point. What online company doesn't send you an email confirmation of an order. What online company states you cannot cancel an order that hasn't shipped in 3 weeks? What online company has "mailbox full", when you try to email them at the only email address available to use for customer service. And get this…. They keep deleting any comments I post on YouTube. This company appears to be in trouble. And in my firm opinion should be taken down off the internet. They appear to be operating in a Scam mode these days. The $10 off coupon codes? They don't work. Bad news.

Overcharged

Make sure you check your receipts. Purchased 2 items that are on sale, and was charged full price. Almost $50 difference. Partly my fault should have been paying attention, but still leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Still no part.

Still have never received the replacement part for the cart. The rep who's sooo concerned never did her job, just shined me on. Sounds like their normal operating procedure. 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. Not!

Order a week ago. Eastwood took my money, but never received my shipping email. Emailed customer service. No reply. Called. Said order is processing. Asked to cancel. Said they cannot. I hope I get my order and this is not a scam. Usually companies only take your money once the order ships. Seems like a scam to me.

I've been trying to cancel an order for over a week now. They say their systems are down. But only if you're trying to cancel. They aren't down if you want to buy. That's a huge scam right there. I called back today and Carly was talking over me the whole time and was rude and said it's too late to cancel now and ended up hanging up on me. I'm not sure about the rest of their product line but the support for the plasma cutters suck. I've been told that they have no repair services and no authorized repair facilities. If it soils the bed while under warranty they just replace it. If it's after warranty it's land fill bound.
I hate this disposable mind set and when I replace this once usable [and now useless] door stop. I will buy it from a company that will at least point me some where that repairs can be made.
