Worst company ever – Avoid at all costs I booked a car through CarJet and went to Avis to pick it up — surprise: no car was available. I immediately contacted CarJet, but they did absolutely nothing to help. It's been over three weeks, and I'm still trying to get my money back. CarJet keeps replying with the same copy-paste message:
"Your case is under review by the correct department. We'll get back to you as soon as possible." But they never do. I even went back to Avis Rent a Car and asked for an official email confirming that no car was provided. Avis sent me the email, which I forwarded to CarJet — still, no refund. Even worse, Avis confirmed that CarJet hasn't even contacted them. So clearly, they're not making any effort to resolve the issue. This has been a huge waste of time and money.
Stay away from this website — totally unreliable and dishonest.

This was my second time to rent a car from car jet and both of them was not very nice. First one I rent the car for 19:00pm and when i went to company to take the car, the office was close and i coudnt take it. İt was 2 days rent and already it was cansel it self. I try to take my money back and its took 2 months to get it but in this time i dont remember how many calls and mails i send. Second time yesterday again i rent the car and they gave me address to take the car but the address was wrong and i faund the Avis rent office but they said they dont have car available. So again i didnt get the car. I called the carjet and they said they will contact with the company and get me back but no way. So becaryfull and do not use this web side.
Booked a car for 2 days and didn't see it. Telephone numbers not answered. No any answer in any email or message. Rubbish
Never ever book through this company. No contacts, no cancellation, no refund
Just beware of these crooks and DO NOT use them. They took my deposit and I expected to get a car at Hobart airport and there wasn't one. The people at the desk just ignored me completely and then when I was upset, they said they would call security.

We booked a rental car using bargain car rental from their Hobart office, we did not realise the actual booking was via Carjet. We were screwed over by bargain car rental and carjet. We were very lucky we only paid a deposit and therefore only lost this deposit when Bargain Car Rentals office closed earlier than advertised (and earlier than our booked pick up time!) and we could not collect our booked car. Luckily we were able to book a new vehicle from the amazing team at East Cast Hire Car rental at extremely short notice! Don't ever use Bargain Car Rentals or Carjet!
Worst company ever! Do not use! Horrible service. Booked for 4pm collection for Hobart City, booking voucher provided by CarJet said site was open to 5pm. Arrived at 4pm and they were closed. The site advised they always closes at 4pm so shouldn't have even allowed to provide booking collection at 4pm. Car Jet refused to refund for their error.
Booked a rental for 2 weeks in Frankfurt, couldn't collect it as my driving license was expired called Carjet a couple of times and tried canceling the reservation online no one helped, charged in full without getting the vehicle.
Super disappointed.
We paid for insurance to carjet and whem we are arrive to pick up the car they do not accept insurance from carjet and we had to buy the other insurance they do not have 24/7 hotline.After claim they do not repaid over money.customer servise is a dissaster.NEVER EVER USE CARJET.COM
My booking CJT-******* total amount €969 and made partial payment of €638 through my visa credit card. The balance of €331 will be paid upon collecting the car. But when I received the final invoice the car rental co Hertz charged my €572! What happened to your billing system? Pls check and correct the invoice immediately!
I booked a pick-up for February 5th, but after making the payment, I noticed the pick-up was scheduled for February 6th. When I called to modify the booking, I was informed that it wasn't possible and that I would need to cancel the booking, which would result in losing my money.
Complete frauds. Made my booking and took $93.03 out of my account without any notice or explanation. Once I collected my car I asked if that amount is deducted from the total amount y owing and the people behind the desk at east coast car rentals (the pick up location) had no idea about any deposit or amount deducted. I have raised dispute with my bank and they are investigating but CARJET refuses to return any of my emails. STAY AWAY
Yesterday, we were scheduled to drop off a hire car at your Leeds location after collecting a campervan. We had driven up from Devon to pick up the campervan in Bradford. After collecting the campervan, we drove both vehicles into central Leeds to return the hire car. Upon arrival, we discovered that the Leeds hire centre was closed, and there was no key drop facility available, despite having arranged to drop off the car that afternoon.
The contact number displayed at the depot was non-functional, as the pre-recorded message looped continuously without any response. After searching through our emails, we eventually found a working contact number. When we finally got through, we were informed that we should never have been allowed to book the drop-off at the Leeds site at that time. We were then told that our only options were to drop the car off on Monday or drive it to Manchester Airport.
Given that we needed to return to Devon that day, our only viable option was to drive to Manchester Airport. We were assured that the rental village would be open until 8 pm. The journey from Leeds to Manchester Airport was awful and took two hours due to motorway crashes, significantly extending our already lengthy five-hour trip back to Devon and incurring additional petrol costs for our other vehicle. I had arranged over the phone not to pay for the petrol in the hire car for this additional journey.
Upon arrival at Manchester Airport, we found the hire car area difficult to locate, and the rental centre was closed well before 8 pm. Fortunately, there was a key drop box available. This entire experience was extremely stressful and costly in terms of both time and petrol for our other vehicle. We finally arrived back in Devon at 11 pm and had to arrange additional childcare because of this late arrival. An absolutely awful experience! This was an awful experience!
I only gave 1 star as I cant give 0. I paid for a hire car on the website, went to Eurocar the next day with my 2 children and they didn't have a car for me. They told me I would be fully refunded by Car Jet as I haven't had a car and still 3 weeks later no refund and no communication at all from Car Jet! Please can someone contact me and give me my refund! Avoid this company!
Beware of CarJet's Deceptive Practices
CarJet lures customers with the promise of low car rental prices. At first glance, the savings seem appealing, prompting customers to book a vehicle through their platform. However, upon arriving at the partner agency to collect the car, many customers are met with unwarranted refusals to honor the booking.
For instance, I personally experienced this when CarWiz, a CarJet partner, refused to accept my booking on baseless grounds. Despite providing my ID card and driver's license—documents essential for any car rental—CarWiz canceled my booking without a valid explanation. The refusal felt deliberately orchestrated.
Left with limited options and under time constraints, I was forced to book a car at a significantly higher price. This situation raises serious concerns that both CarJet and their partner agencies may profit from such scenarios, leveraging customers' urgent needs to increase their revenues through inflated last-minute rates.
My advice: Stay cautious and avoid falling for CarJet's seemingly low rental prices. The advertised savings may end up costing you more in frustration, wasted time, and higher rental charges. If you value transparency and reliability, consider alternative platforms that prioritize customer satisfaction over deceptive business practices.

WORSE COMPANY EVER. WHAT A RIP OFF. Rip off they attract you with their low offers but then don't show you the details to get your car until after you pay and the. Their customer service never reply and basically steal your money! Been one week no reply couldn't rent my rat and they owe me 109 euros. They contact me to get more info here but they can't even reply to the 3-4 emails I sent them. DO NOT USE THEM
Don't use Carjet.com They work with local rental offices and DO NOT check if these are reliable ones. We just had the most horrible experience with Carjet renting a car from Right Cars / Apollo car rental in Athens airport. They try to set you out with a worn out car and upon arrival they tried to rip off money for what they said was a minor scratch made by us. We didn't. As a matter of fact, the whole cars had these minor scratches. We let the police come so they let us go. They didn't want to give the damage report of €300 because I didn't want to sign. Now they withdrew €995 of my creditcard with a damage report signed by a different person. Carjet must have known this, because now we are checking the reviews and all of them are bad for that particular local company! So Carjet does NOT look out for you!
And DO NOT rent from Right Cars / Apollo Rent Athens.

They advertise cheap offers and lure you in. We booked through Carjet.com for pick up from Europcar Coventry UK. Had a telephone call from Europcar to tell us that the car was unavailable on the 2nd but available on the 3rd Dec. We turn up on 3rd only to be told that since we didn't pick up on 2nd, there is no car available now. Interestingly, you could book a car from Europcar website for the same day from the same site. On cancelling the booking, we got an automated email from Carjet.com declining refund as the booking date has passed by 24hrs. And unable to contact them via the phone - company based in Spain.
My thoughts are that both Europcar and Carjet are unscrupulous
1) The recommendation for cancellation was made by Europecar, although they were aware that there was no scope for a refund from Carjet.com.
2) Carjet.com being a third party, take some of the profit away from Europcar and it would work better for Europcar if clients book directly with them so as to maximise their profit. Hence they are more likely to create confusion amongst the clients who have paid upfront.
As for Carjet.com, they are a fraudulent business that capitalises on hapless victims through false promises. I have looked thoroughly into Carjet.com website. The multiple reviews all relate to similar events where the clients are misled about time and availability of car rental to confuse them and subsequently not refunding the cost.
It has been a terrible experience and I hope you will stay clear of them.

I ALREADY PURCHASED PLATINUM INSURANCE WITH INITIAL BOOKING ONLY FOR THEM TO WANT TO SELL ANOTHER ONE...ALSO IF YOU USE DEBIT CARD YOU ARE ASKED TO PAY EXTRA...SO IN A NUTSHELL THE INITIAL BOOKING WAS 376 FOR 12 DAYS...THEN ON SPOT FOR DEBIT CARD ADDITIONAL 480 EURO I WAS MEANT TO PAY FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF USING A DEBIT CARD? OH BY THE WAY IF YOU USE A CREDIT CARD THE MONEY WILL BE HELD FOR 30 DAYS LOL...MY GUT TOLD ME TERMINATE AND LOSE FHE 376 AS IT WAS ALL DODGY...ANOTHER FRENCH CUSTOMER WHOM WE FOUND AHEAD OF US FUMING HAD ALSO JUST DECIDED TO LOSE HIS MONEY TOO AND WE WERE SOON TO UNDERSTAND WHY TOO. Reserved a car with CarJet and they rented the car for me at Hit Rent a Car in Antalya.
When I arrived in Antalya, everything went wrong, Hit Rent a Car was not available and showed up much later at their agency, the agreements were changed and wanted more money and I would get another car.
Then I called CatJet and they were also not available, so I had them take me back to the airport and from there I took a taxi to the hotel.
Because I have an agreement with CarJet, I held them liable for the costs incurred and wanted my deposit back.
Unfortunately, when it comes to money, CarJet doesn't care and they bury their heads in the sand when problems arise.
As the saying goes, Cheap is Expensive!

Taken by van to paisley portacabin told by davalia they don't do debit cards only credit,they want £280 from me. Ask carjet for refund told to #£uk with kind regards, £ 182 = no car = no money
