Car jet. Gold car da vergüenza

Hola, no os aconsejo coger coche por carjet o Gold car que es uno de los rent a car con los que trabajan. Hemos alquilado coche por 9 días Tarifa no modificable, pusimos pa recoger coche a las 10:00 h por error pues nuestro vuelo llega a las 19; 45! Llamamos pa decir que llegamos más tarde a recogerlo y oooh sorpresa nos dicen que como han pasado 6 horas desde la hora que pusimos de recogida ya no podemos recoger nuestro coche que hemos pagado por 9 das por qué la política d ela empresa es q ñue si en ese periodo de 6 horas no recoges el coche, el coche se pone de nuevo a la venta que os parece. Me parece de locos y de sinvergüenzas la verdad. No alquileis ni a Gold Car ni a Car jet. Vale más pagar un poco más y tener seguridad de que te van a ayudar y responder seriamente, no como estas dos empresas que no han hecho nada. Al contrario quieren que no llegues a recoger coche en esas horas para especular con tu coche por qué cogen tu dinero y el de otro posible comprador nuevo. De vergüenza

TERRIBLE!

Terrible service and cheaters! We had to pay 180 euros extra on arrival because we were an hour later while you rent a car per day! We refused and were duped and by phone they still refuse to listen. People please be careful and do not book with these thieves!

Die schlechteste Firma, über die ich in Deutschland ein Auto gemietet habe. Ich rate niemandem. Nach Bestätigung des Mietwagenvertrages mit Enterprise belastet CarJet die Kreditkarte sofort mit 180€. Durch die Anmietung eines Autos von Enterprise wurden mir die vollen Mietkosten berechnet, einschließlich dieser 180 €. Erklären, dass sie nichts wissen. Ich habe dazu eine E-Mail an CarJet geschickt. Ich habe eine schnelle Antwort von ihnen erhalten, dass sie alles schnell regeln werden. Seitdem sind drei Monate vergangen. Ich habe die E-Mail dreimal erneut gesendet, aber keine Antwort mehr erhalten.

A complete waste of money

Carjet reserved a car for me via a third party (Easirent) at Gatwick airport. I called Easirent, but there was no car available for me!
I tired phoning CarJet, in Spain but they did not answer the phone. I sent a cancellation request via their website, but this was not respected. I am now trying to recover the hire charges.

Be Aware! Spanish Broker! NOT UK based, no customer service phone number in UK!
Was rentin a car in london for a week, called 30 min before collection just to find out that there is no car to collect! As it was from Enterprise.
Cancelled the booking, as advised by Enterprise, just to get a message from CarJet that tje cancelqtion fees is the whole amount! A week worth of rental.
Called - spanish phone number charges
emailed... several times... ignoee completely NO RESPONSE! Fraudsters!

A month ago I gave Car Jet 5 stars for ease of booking since then I have picked up and returned my car and can now give a full review. I now give them 1 star and would not recommend them for the following reasons:
1) The shuttle information. To the car rental pick up point at Heathrow is wrong and this delayed us 1 1/2 hours and we had to catch a cab.
2) We had to change our holiday plans in UK and leave for France earlier than expected and had the following problems:
A) The Carjet web site does not allow you to schedule an early return.
B) It was impossible to get an answer from the Customer Service number or leave a message. Phone calls simply do not complete.
C) Nobody answered the telephone number for the Heathrow dealership either.
D) I emailed Customer Services but only got an automated reply saying it would be referred to the manager.
E) I, therefore, drove the car to the Easirent dealership and it was closed at 10:30 pm. The website says it is open until 00:30 am.
F) There was no Drop Box.
G) The Moxi hotel would not take the key and said this happens alot and people simply leave their cars in the Car park
H) I, therefore, put my keys in an envelope and placed it on the dashboard for Easirent in the morning.
I) I emailed Customer Services telling them what I had done and where they could find the car.
J) I got another automated reply.
K) Having not got a closing invoice I was concerned that the car could have been stolen so emailed Customer Service yet again. No reply.
L) So deeply concerned one week later I called Easirent and got through.
Fortunately the car was still there 1 week later and my account is closed. Though Car Jet advertise that you can return the car at any time this is difficult and they will not refund you even in the most extraneous of circumstances. All round a bad choice for me. Price is not everything.

WARNUNG in PLMA abzocke carjet und record
Palma de mallorca: bin durch doyouspain auf carjet.com gestossen und mietcontract für eine woche incl. Vollkoasko(100%) abgeschlossen-bin 11:30 in airport palma bei der fa record rent a car erschienen um auto abzuholen. Record verlangte von mir nochmal 238€ für versicherung und oder 2000€ deposit-die ich schon online bezahlt hatte. Habe nach viele unsinnige discussion herausgefunden dass alles nur abzocke war-wollte bei record den vertrag anullieren das ging nicht und muss bei carjet machen-also nach 25 minütigen wählen hat jemand abgehoben und 2 mal wieder aufgelegt als die dame heraus found(anruf bei record)dass ich anullieren will sagte muss ich online machen-pick up war 12 uhr-nach viele hinhalterei bei record-anruf bei carjet war nun 12:30 -sofort kam eine email ich hätte zuspät anulliert daher kein refund-also steckte carjet mit record unter einer decke um ans geld zu kommen-werde natürlich in andere foren auch bekannt geben und mein anwalt soll sich drum kümmern-also WARNUNG und seinen sie vorsichtig-in diese coronazeit werden sie betrogen

This company along with the car hire company Abbycar Hire, stole €420 from my Wife had I at the start of our Holiday. Their exorbitantly excessive guarantee on car hire and them not accepting another form of payment when my Credit card was broken, meant that after 3 hours in the office we left with no car and having to go to another car hire company to get another car.
Thieves.

WARNING!
SCAMMERS! Booked car to pick up from Stansted and tried to pick up with Passport, Driving licence, NHS Covid ID with address confirmation but they would not let me take car without utility bill!

I offered top scan a utility bill from home but they would not accept and said it had to be original. Everything i tried they would not accept. On leaving without the car and spending £200 on taxi home to Brighton he said have a nice day. If my wife had not been there he would have had a smack in the mouth.

I am going to follow up by reporting to trading standards and so should the rest of you. It is the only way to get these companies shut down.

You cannot contact them either as booking with Carjet no working tel number or email.

Be careful, it is Spanish tramps who steal from people in the act., I am looking for victims of carjet to build a case., We can look directly for the boss and go to his house., I personally will not let go I will beat him up to that son of a gypsy dog., does anyone have the boss's name please. Thank you for joining us in attacking these thieves, they are spanish and this is nothing new to them spanish sites 70% of spanish sites are scammers. Carjet is a car rental comparison site that you can book through. A car was booked for me through Carjet in August. When I arrive to pick the car up from the third party car rental office, it was shut. It had been shut for 5 months due to Covid. The third party rental company had emailed Carjet the day after I had booked to advise that they could not honour the booking. Carjet had not passed that message on. Due to their error I had to take a taxi, 3 hour train journey, and then book another car at the last minute on a Bank Holiday weekend, which all added up to approximately £600 and a lot of hassle.

Carjet apologised for the error and eventually agreed to refund the booking amount. They told me in November that they would be sending a compensation offer shortly. This never materialised and they now refuse to compensate for the expenses incurred because of their oversight, even though they are undoubtedly responsible and originally acknowledged this. They have now stopped communicating altogether. We will pursue a claim through legal routes, which is ridiculous for a pretty clear fault.

While my experience is probably a rare occurrence, how they have handled the matter has been woeful. No one takes responsibility, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated customer service team, their manner varies between pleasant and obnoxious, and I would not have confidence in how they would handle any complicated issue, such as an accident or breakdown.

Whatever the cause, the effect is a potentially a very inconvenient, frustrating, and costly experience (in time and money). Make life simple and book with someone else.

I have tried to resolve the matter with Carjet, with three emails in the last month, including escalating to the CEO and other senior people, as well as the usual customer service email addresses. I have not received any response. They have my phone number and email address; they can easily respond to me. There is plenty of competition in this market; use a more reliable, responsible company.
