I booked a 4 night vacation at the loon Mt. Resort. Booksi, or Bluegreen, changed it to 3 days without my knowledge or consent (see picture).
They also promised me a $100 restaurant gift certificate which they never gave me. Their business partner, Bluegreen Vacations gave me a 'Dining-Dough' certificate, which no restaurants in Lincoln or in my area will accept.
I purchased this not knowing that it's a scheme to get you to buy more. I cancelled within the time allowed but never got my refund. They kept blaming my bank. DO NOT BUY FROM BOOKSI OR BOOKING.com.
Try to book the travel at the times you are going over there but it want take your bookings,BUT it takes your money first NOT GOOD no good paying for something when your cant do IT.
Books/ Monster.com which work together are a scam company. I booked a trip with Books and when I went to confirm they added extra charges to my trip and told me there would be more charges when I got there.
So I cancelled the trip. Now they won't return my monies and I have to have my Credit card company go after them to get my money back. Stay away from this company. Richard Brown
This is too good to be true. Read under Terms & Conditions about a high pressure 90-minute (this means 90 minute or more) timeshare presentation. No thanks!
I bought a 3 vacation package. I booked two trips. One in July the other in September. I declined the white glove service which would give me a refund if I CANCELED. I then tried to book in March (before the other two trips) I was then told that I could not book multiple trips at the same time. I had to book the trip, take the trip then book again. I was told I would have to cancel the two set trips to take the trip in March. I said fine i will rebook the trips. They told me I forfeited the deposit on the later two trips. I said that I didnt cancel they canceled the trips to allow me to take the earlier trip. The refused to refund my money so I canceled the march trip and decided I would book it after my other two trips. They then said they had to cancel one of the two trips they already booked and I would once again lose my deposit. It wasnt until I threatened to dispute the charge on my credit card and contract the consumer fraud division of the local district attorney that the actually decided to look into refunding my money because "it might be their fault that this happened".
This is a typical scam employed by many companies. They lie cheat and steal and when you catch them they deny, and delay hoping you will give up. If you dont give up they finally admit it was a "mistake" and see what they can do to fix it by making you wait on hold an intolerably long time. Finally after 45 min on the phone the best they could do was give me a credit of the amount for me next trip.
Booked their 5 day cancun stay and the charged my card without even letting me pick dates. No confirmation sent to my email or any way to finish my reservation. Logged into their site and it shows no reservation for me yet my card has been charged through my bank.
I bought and paid for a Booksi vacation only to find out there was an additional $150 charge. It's a scam. Don't fall for it.
I paid $300 for a vacation. I went to book it and I had to call another number. They informed me that all members of the party had to sit through a 2 hour sales presentation. I said fine. Then they wanted more money from me. They called it a deposit to make sure I would show up. Too many layers of lies and requirements.
I have booked a trip to Mexico and have 18months to redeem it, I have contacted Booksi to have it cancelled, they don't have a phone number to contact only an email address, until now I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me about returning my money, don't book any ticket with this company they don't seem to be legit
I bought a $199 Savannah trip, but I was charged $499 to my bank acct. They told me I had bought 3 trips. I scheduled one for NYC in May but they called and told me that I was going to Cancun. I don't want to go to Cancun, they say I can't go to NYC even tho it was listed because there is no sales presentation there. I knew nothing about sales presentations. No one mentioned them. Every time I talked to someone they changed the number of trips I had available. 2,3,4. They don't know what they're doing. Their partner Monster called me and tell me I should go to Atlantic City and they took another $269 out if my account. I've tried to resolve this but they refuse to answer my emails or request to speak to someone who knows what they're talking about. They have $750 of my money and refuse to communicate with me. I'm 75 so maybe they bilk Senior Citizens knowing some can't fight back. I'm going to keep trying but I'm also going to write to the CPB because I got good results from them with a bank issue once.
I booked a reservation and went on vacation. I had to pay all kind of fees including $150 refundable deposit.
They don't say all these fees in the ads then after your trip $150 refundable never happened. It's a total scam and shady business >> PLEASE STAY AWAY THIS SCAMMER!
Lure you in with low price then add on at least $110 more after they have your credit card charged. I will change my review if they give me refund.

Booksi promised 5 nights at Villa del Palmar Cabo but Booked Los Cabos Golf Resort.
The advertized price was $399.00 but the actual price was $747.15
Phone number attached to the text confirmation welcome the call can not be completed as dialed.
Called customer service number, sat on hold for over an hour and no answer. Used automated call back feature agent did finally call and told me I had to see a presentation and pay an additional $281.27. I ask for a refund and no one has responded!
Booksi appears to be a shady organization!
Paid for vacation. When I called to confirm, they said I was not qualified for the one we paid for & they played the switch card on me. Since they did not provide what we paid for, we requested a refund. They refused to credit our credit card so we are having to dispute with our CC company.
I paid booksi and their partner in crime, monster booking, over 3 times the price advertised. Then the reservation was cancelled (the 3rd one cancelled). I am in the process of disputing the charges with my credit card. If that isn't successful, I'm out $1500.00, plus about $500 it cost me to change the airline tickets. I can't say it loud enough, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUNCH..
Booksi definitely has great deals. They are legitimate at real resorts. My issue with the whole thing is they are simply/strictly trying to sell timeshares. It's very obvious from the first phone call. I also don't appreciate the fact that I was then routed through one or two other third-party companies… It all just felt very "bait and switch", but at the prices they charge some folks will obviously feel like it's worth it. For me using up what winds up amounting to practically a day of my vacation (not the 120 min promised) to be HIGH pressure pitched on a timeshare (NOT a simple tour of the property as promised) is in no way worth it. And I'm also quite certain they'll never stop calling/emailing/marketing going forward.
Bought a package for $199 and my Amex contacted me that there was the $199+ charge and a $500+ charge attempting to be made. I said NO and the one charge was declined by Amex. The next day I wanted to book the hotel and the call goes to a 3rd party to see if you "qualify", asking question on marital status, income…and when I asked why they needed any further info I was told that we needed to attend a presentation for 90-120 minutes at the hotel. I said that I only signed up to stay at hotel and nothing states otherwise. The 3rd party would not refund us nor does the initial site have a number to contact them. This is a scam in my book..
Booking a trip with Booksi was a nightmare despite the great price. My email said book any time in the next 18 months. So I bought flights, and selected the days. 1st surprise, you have to call to complete the booking. 2nd surprise, blackout dates that they can't tell you in advance. It was December, I was calling to book in April and they said there was no availability the entire month. 3rd surprise I could book the dates I wanted, but I would have to pay an additional $350, more than half of the original price. 4th surprise, I would have to attend a 2 hour presentation while on vacation. So I canceled my flights, can called back and they had to look day by day to see what was available. Finally we find a day that works and, 5th surprise, the only rooms they have available are double beds. I'm going on vacation with my husband. I check more available dates and call back a 3rd time to book and 6th surprise you have to be on the phone with them for 30 minutes to book the room. So, if you have 4 hours to burn going back and forth to check availability and flights during east coast business hours, and can travel whenever they tell you to, I guess it's a good deal.
Answer: Our deals show all fees before any payment is made. The fees involved are based on the amount quoted for the offer plus the taxes and fees added in the cart before payments are made. The only additional fees for the accommodation which may or may not apply based on each individual deal is the "Resort Fees" which are charged at the time of booking dates. These fees vary depending on the individual hotel deal. To see if there are any resort fees applied to the hotel you are interested in please view the terms and conditions at the bottom of the deals information. Our offers supply the very best accommodation at a fraction of the cost based on the deals being promotional and offering a "Resort Preview Rate" as shown in the information. This means that these are first time visitor promotions where the hotels will request the opportunity to provide a products and services update to explain the benefits of the vacation based services that they have available to help save you even more money on future vacation. You are not obligated to join anything but the hotel will require your time to explain their services to you.
Answer: Hi Maria, After purchasing your vacation, you will receive a confirmation email with a link and your credentials to book your dates, once your dates are booked you will receive another email with a phone number to call our reservations team and confirm your desired dates, at that time you will be able to ask for a wheelchair accessible room. Please if you need any other information about our services reach out to [email protected]. Thank you
Answer: Hi Michelle, This usually happens when the financial institution stops the purchase. Please make sure to contact your bank or you can also try using a different card (This can also solve the problem). For your reference, the only payments we accept are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If you keep having issues with your purchase, we recommend you choose a different internet browser and use a computer instead of a Smartphone.
Answer: Hi Mary, unfortunately, we do not have flight deals. You will have to go to your preferred travel agency for this.
