I have bought an item a month ago on Zavvi. My experience was a total mess. They provide an untrackable tracking number and they told me to wait 30 days, then i never receive the order and they said that they would send me a refund but they didn't. Have to open a case on paypal and dispute the case to have my money back. Customer service is terrible and this business is possibly a scam. Don't buy, trust me!
I ordered Lego that was out of stock and selling at a premium by collectors. Zavvi was selling it for $50 less than Legos price. I did my research and saw the terrible reviews, but most people just complained it was slow so I knew what to expect an paid extra for tracked shipping. Item arrived 3 weeks after estimated delivery, but it arrived. It was genuine Lego that should have sold for a premium and I got it at a discount.
Never received my item, Zavvi said "I had signed for it." Load of rubbish. Was home 24/7, as were my elderly neighbors who keep an eye on the neighborhood. Zavvi hen refused to either send my item, give me a refund, or ret to ANY email when I said it 100% had not been delivered, neither I nor my neighbors had taken receipt, and was not left anywhere on my property. I was home, I should know. Total rip off and scam.
Pretty sure they're a scam company that pays for bot reviews to some extent. They also pad their reviews by sending review request immediately after purchase to trick low minds into being like "great products for cheap prices, so excited" but never actually receiving the product and being to low mind to fix review. They told me after 3 weeks to wait to days and that they were just waiting on the shipping company to pick it up. One week later, I message them and they say they are waiting for supplier to get it in stock. Tries to back pedal saying from the beginning they knew the shipment was not available and were just gonna have me wait until I hopefully forgot. Save your money, spend a bit more to actually get the item you want. Low prices are a hook to steal with.
Been waiting for DVD for more then 30 days. Followed up with them and was told it shipped out of the UK that's why it's taking so long and they can't track it. 40 days now and asked for a refund. Was asked to check around to see if someone else signed for it because they show it was delivered but they can't provide proof of delivery. How could they when they said they coul

MOST ITEMS ADVERTISED ARE NOT IN STOCK BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND THATS THE LAST YOU WILL HEAR FROM THEM! You won't get a refund either unless your lucky. Keep your money and look at the reviews they tell you everything. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE UNLESS YOU LIKE GIVING AWAY MONEY FOR NOTHING!
Unfortunately it is a fraud. The mintage of Thor Exclusive Ingot is 9995 and not 2000 and it ruins the collection as it is gilded compared to the other bars in the series but with an equal circulation. They say they charge you when they ship, but they charge you immediately. I ordered 2 items, one expensive 400$, and the other only 50$. I eventually received the 50$ item, but the expensive item never arrived. The customer service is an abysmal online process, which required that I download, fill out, and then submit their paperwork onto their website. I requested a refund for the entire purchase, and asked that they charge me for only the smaller item. Instead of doing the right thing, they requested that I send them all the information that I had already sent them, then asked for- get this- a picture of the shipping label! How am I supposed to send them a picture of the shipping label for a package I never got, and they likely never sent? They stated they sent it w/o tracking... right, sure. I requested a charge back from the credit card company as I became convinced they were running out the clock on the dispute period. They provided false information to the credit card company, including tracking info for the small item that weighed a couple of lbs, when the larger item they probably never sent weights almost 20lbs. Oh, yeah, they also deleted my online account so I couldn't retrieve the customer (no) service interactions to support my dispute with the credit card. Too bad for them I save all my emails and did screen captures... Hopefully the credit card company will settle this dispute in my favor, but for now I am still out 400$. Buyer beware!
Ordered on the 3rd of December so I would receive things in time for Christmas. After a week still said they were processing. When I tried to get a refund WITHIN the 14 day period on their website said they couldn't and would only give me a refund on one item only because they had sold out. After numerous messages finally said it would be shipped within the next few days. Finally on the 22nd of December the 2 items were shipped. Finally received them on the 10th of January. I contacted fair trade whim said They are a UK run company therefore they can't assist- do not order from. When asked to write a review said I would ensure everyone knew they were a scam site. Did receive an email to write feedback. It was not positive and their website has a slavery policy at the bottom. BIG RED FLAG.
I placed the order on 26/11/21, and I still haven't received my order yet.
5 messages are sent through the Zavvi webpage, they replied with no point, no actions taken by them, and no staff is trying to sort this out, they all keep their hands off.
Really disappointed with the services they provided, keep telling me to wait.

The Zavvi Customer service staff who replied to my message are Mbali, Nothando& Cole, they showed up with horrible customer service, and kicked the ball around and around.
Customer service is useless, deliver took 2 MONTHS, and got slapped with hidden fees. Would give it 0 if I could
Zavvi will not give you the discount on the item you preorder even if it has not been delivered to their warehouse yet. Other dealers with similar items do this as not only a courtesy but to be competitive. The customer support would not cancel my item either even tho they had not received the item yet in their warehouses. I use to love buying from them but the lack of customer satisfaction and the price scalping that they tack on is ridiculous compared to their competitors. They have lost my loyalty and support.
Ordered a lego set for dad's birthday and paid next day delivery because the website said this would be fine. Next day no parcel, so I spoke to Zavvi and was told the item would be with me within 3-5 days. This wasn't what I paid for and the reason for next day was I wouldn't be at home to recieve it and the birthday was fast approaching. I then asked for a change of address and was told no I would have to be there to get it. The customer service is terrible even when I escalated it to a complaint they still don't cair. I will never use Zavvi again and hope anyone reading this won't either they are a joke
Don't buy from this site. I ordered in October and the items are not even going to make it by Christmas. They are also impossible to get ahold of and there is no way for me to cancel the order to get new Christmas gifts since the item says "shipped" for a month now.
I bought a sweater for a Christmas gift and still not having any answers from this company for days now appear that maybe I will receive after Christmas! Really! Why you dont show that during the purchase! Horrible service!
Shipping is the slowest, it took forever for them to ship and now that it's shipped it's taking forever to get here, probably won't be here in time for Christmas so order like two months ahead

Awful experience which is still continuing. Ordered a lego set that says was in stock and said 3-5 days for delivery. The clause is the free magazine which you have to accept on ordering. Beware of this. 10 days later the say the free magazine has been shipped but its never arrived. I asked where the lego set is a it was supposedly in stock at the time of ordering. Its being processed is their answer. Next it's now in their technicolour warehouse( a new warehouse which they can't contact). Next someone says for me to wait for 30 days for delivery. Are they having a laugh. I want a refund please I ask. No is the answer as part of your order has been shipped. This is the danger area. Its the free magazine that has never arrived.
Anyway I have spoken to trading standards and asked zavvi for an address to send my cancellation in writing. I am still waiting for this which they have not provided to me. In the meantime they have admitted they do not have the stock yet and have given me the option to cancel or wait. I am awaiting their response to my request of a cancellation otherwise I am going to my bank on Monday to show them all correspondence to do a charge back. They shouldn't be allowed to sell items they don't have as this is misrepresentation and should be classed as a pre order if it is not in stock. Bad.
I ordered some models from Zavvi as part of a random bundle. I realized it was possible that there may be duplicates, so when I got one I accepted this as part of the bundle's low cost. But when I opened one up it was clearly broken right out of the box, it fell apart immediately. It was obvious that it was broken and Zavvi had repackaged it without even bothering to glue it back together. Can't believe the nerve that would take!
So I contacted them expecting to be offered a partial refund, 'cause like, this bundle was $16. I figured getting maybe $4 back would be okay. Nah, they wanted me to ship it back at my own expense. Would literally cost more than what I paid.

Made orders three weeks ago. Made four means of contact to find out about the order. Three weeks later, the order has finally shipped. They contact me stating they don't have a product anymore even though it was stated as shipped. The company lacks communication and can not give you best information on products you order..

Answer: I felt the same way! Nowhere on the site does it say 30 days until you get your product. Then you can live chat but they avoid the questions that are most important. Then you try to contact then through email and you get blown off that way too. Then I read the reviews here. I didn't think I'd get it anytime soon. My order came in 4 days after purchase! Just got it. I may give them another chance. Hang in there!
