After contacting customer service 3 times with out reply i initiated a bank refund.

Sent me the wrong item. Charged my card for an amount more expensive than the approved item. It was a complete hassle to get a refund. It's taken OVER a month. If you order from them, expect to roll the dice with your order.
Absolutely AWFUL = DON'T bother with Pre-orders + TERRIBLE customer service! I placed a pre-order for 4x item's in February, release date was the 13th June (1x MtG commander deck, 1x bundle and 2x starter kits). They marked 3x out of 4x items as dispatched (1x bundle and 2x starter kits). I received a box containing 2x items (2x starter kits), not the 3x (missing the 1x bundle). The box was too small to have fit the bundle. I raised 2x queries, 1x about the missing bundle that they marked as 'dispatched', 1x about the Commander deck that they haven't dispatched. We can't use names here so we'll call the first Customer Service advisor 'C'. He replied assuring me that there is just a delay regarding the commander deck is all and that I will eventually receive it - (bearing in mind the release date was the 13th June), today is the 7th July and I'm still waiting. Another Customer Services advisor informed me that an investigation has been raised about the missing bundle, they gave me a timeframe and that timeframe had passed, so I chased them. They reply thanking me for my refund request and processed a refund for the bundle (with no apology or admitting to their mistake!). I didn't request a refund, I want the goods! Dealing with them was like talking to a brick wall! There have been a number of occasions where they haven't read my messages correctly and even their own colleagues! The problem is, the products that I have ordered are sold out everywhere and are worth a lot more money now, so much for Pre-ordering the items with Zavvi! I highly doubt they'll be able to get a hold of the remaining item, the commander deck - all I want are the items that I have pre-ordered! I'm left wondering whether they understand the point of a pre-order and why they hire incompetent people to work in their customer services department. Also try looking for their head office details or a phone number to put in a complaint - there is a reason that you'll struggle. All you have is their CS department, so complaints get nowhere. This review is the short version of everything that has happened, I'm so stressed with the situation it's unreal. I'm kicking myself that I didn't go elsewhere to pre-order the items as now I won't be able to get a hold of them as only a limited amount are printed. Let's see whether I ever receive my commander deck or whether they will suddenly refund me (they don't like to admit to being wrong). I will be sharing my experience with as many people as possible and I will not be shopping with Zavvi after this extremely poor experience. Zavvi are absolutely awful. They may have a paid Trustoilot account, as there's no way they'd have a 3.8 score on Trustpilot, they'd be in the red with a free account (I've worked for a company that used Trustoilot for a while so I have a good idea of how it works). They've caused me so much stress with this situation, I wish I had went elsewhere in the first place. I'm going to be looking into taking things further. Feel free to source the items for me Zavvi and pay a premium whilst you're at it, this is the only way that you will be able to make it up to me - I know you won't however. You should replace your Customer Services department, get some people in that are capable of reading properly and that are able to actively engage in a situation, people that can stick to timeframes and know what they are doing. I want my remaining item (and preferably the bundle too) - I DO NOT want another refund as I cannot get the items anywhere else now (and don't believe you'll be able to get them, but I'm holding in to that small sliver of hope). Sort yourselves out! Again, DO NOT refund me for the remaining item (Final Fantasy Limit Break commander deck), I STILL WANT IT. Let's see if 'C' will admit to being wrong about Zavvi having not oversold this product and that I will still receive it. Let's see how much Zavvi knows exactly.
Scammers. They cancelled the preorders of Prismatic Evolutions Mini tins for everyone that ordered because they realized they can sell the product for way more
This company packs things horribly and items get damaged easily. Also there customer service is also aweful so when this happens good luck getting your money back without filing a claim with your credit card.
I ordered a case of pokemon. They cancelled my order unexpectedly. They said that they were unable to fulfill order due to demand. I look again at the product page and the item is back in stock but at a higher price. Poor ethics.
Canceled an order only to find a few days later they had still charged me ans sent order 300 pounds taken from account I sent item straight back with the delivery it come with and asked for my money back only to be told it will take 14 days to do a refund stay away from this place I'll never shop with them again you can't talk to customer service it's an utter joke and should be shut down
Sold products not on hand and canceled order within 24 hours. I would not recommend buying from this shop or giving them any of your business.
I ordered a preorder item from Zavvi on 1/23/25. The preorder item was for a set of Pokemon cards above MSRP of the item, but as it's sold out everywhere else, I was excited. Someone posted the link to Reddit so other fans could order. When I told my boyfriend (who collects action figures) that I ordered from Zavvi, he raised his eyebrow and said "good luck." I should have trusted him, because I woke up on 1/24/25 to an email saying that my order was canceled. But not because they don't have the item, nope! Because they're relisting for about 80% higher since the item sold so well. Pokemon Company should end any distribution they have with this site, and Zavvi should do the honorable thing and honor their orders that was on a PREORDER ITEM ALREADY ABOVE MSRP. Shame on Zavvi, I will NEVER be using your service again, as will everyone else who ordered. You are not welcome in our hobby. And yes, of course they haven't refunded my Paypal yet but did take the money.

Paid 130 ish dollars for tins and was told my order was canceled. After some research they canceled it so they could resell the product at a higher price. Sad sack of a company!

Useless customer service, 72 hours to respond to reply to their messages by which time always to late to change anything. 10 days late with delivery after being asked to cancel. Never again. Item did arrive in the end but the process completely hopeless. Avoid!
Package Tracking shows it never left Great Britain. It shows it never went to customs, never went to ANY US postal services. There is no number to contact Zavvi. They use "messages". I notified them of the details via their messaging system. Rather than actually looking at the tracking info. A week later they just sent a generic response and told me to fill our their form. (Download, print, fill out by hand then scan then upload, rather that an Electronic Form). 5 days later, they send out the exact same generic message with the same form. I am out $200. I have spent over $5300.00 over the years at Zavvi. Obviously I will Never buy from them again. When you order from Zavvi you have to understand, you can NEVER actually contact them, they only do generic responses and you will get ripped off eventually. It might take several orders but you will end up like me.
Was wondering why they had such an ok score on trustpilot... Then i remembered trustpilot is a scam and genuine negative reviews get removed! Zavvi are awful. Ordered weeks ago...processing since. Payment taken but no dispatch. Non existent customer service. Never again. Now...time to review trustpilot too!
Update...placed the same order with next day delivery instead of standard. Dispatched within 12 hours! So now I've got to try and cancel the first or return it for refund. But if you're reading this, pay the extra £3 for next day. DO NOT GO WITH STANDARD DELIVERY
These guys must make most of their money on the delivery fees because the delivery takes twice as long as they estimate yet they charge like they've hired a private jet to hand it to you
This is the last straw! I have order multiple times from Zavvi and ever time it has been nothing but a hassle. I have tried to cancel my order I placed two weeks ago because it would not arrive on time for what I needed it for yet I have had no response other than we have escalated it. Horrible customer service! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Ordered 3 Pops. Was told they had shipped. A month later I find out they never shipped. Now one of them was out of stock. Said they would refund my money and send the other two. Two weeks later they still haven't shipped when I find out a second one I ordered was out of stock. They have not contacted me once about this, I had to contact them every time. Now they are telling me they never sent the one Pop and they are now out of stock! Worst Customer Service Ever!

Answer: I felt the same way! Nowhere on the site does it say 30 days until you get your product. Then you can live chat but they avoid the questions that are most important. Then you try to contact then through email and you get blown off that way too. Then I read the reviews here. I didn't think I'd get it anytime soon. My order came in 4 days after purchase! Just got it. I may give them another chance. Hang in there!
