This company will slack off in picking up trash at a reasonable hour towards the end of the city contract only to turn around and pick up at 0700 as soon as the contract is renewed. However, WC requires the trash cans to be on the curb at 0700 the morning of service. In this way, WC can avoid having to pick up numerous containers as people have gotten used to the later service time. Bulverde should d/c this contract and find a new company with more consistent service.

They have really nice people who work here. However, here are the business practices that I am uncomfortable with. They only do renewable contracts that require a certified letter written 90-120 days before renewal date. If you don't send the letter, the contract renews and you are locked in. Some contracts have a non cap regular increase, so your bill can go up with no warning even if the agreed upon amount is specified in the agreement. The associates are nice, so don't let that stop you from reading the fine print.

Unethical and Corrupt

This. Is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The Lawton Ok staff are horrendous. They lie to your face (in my case, to my ear). There was absolutely no possible reason for them to create lie. Just ludicrous. I spoke to I think Tina but also at least one or two other people in the office. They just lied to me for no reason. They could have behaved professionally but they chose create a problem for a customer for no apparent reason. Perhaps they enjoy making people unhappy. I do not understand how they could take pleasure from that but apparently that seems to their goal. They make every contact adversarial. That is just ridiculous. Win win is a great solution to problems. They chose lose lose. My experience with that company leads me to believe they are unethical, corrupt, dishonest, have no morals, no integrity, and are confrontational (for no reason). Perhaps they derive some sort of diabolical pleasure in making as many people as possible, as miserable as they seem to be. There is no reason for the unprofessional and unpleasant contact experience they create for any customer unfortunate enough to have to contact them. It is completely unnecessary for them to insult and treat the customers with contempt.

The worst company

They never pick up our scheduled pick ups even when we call City Hall 4 or 6 times for services, we are constantly given dates they will pick up and they never show. As for regular trash pick up, they never pick up our recycling and rarely our tradh either. We have complained endlessly but are Forced to keep paying them because the city forces it on our water bills, so its robbery. They refuse to do their jobs and services we pay for. They are also involved in way too many legal controversies over mishandling proper disposal of toxic garbage and mishandling of fund.

The MO for all of these large waste collectors is to buy out the small waste collection companies then reduce services while increasing rates. I recently moved out of the service area for Waste Connections and needed to cancel service. I was so happy to cancel due to what I interpret as bullying their customer. As a parting shot, they are charging me a $40 cancellation fee, even though i have been a consistent (and obedient) customer for years. They used to take occasional extra trash bags that didn't fit into the trash cans. They sent a notice that they won't do that any longer. When the weather is bad, they don't pick up but won't credit any money for no pickup. They won't pick up bundled tree limbs any longer. Recently they began using the arm that grabs the trash can rather than a person emptying the can into the truck. Last pick up both my cans were on the curb but one was positioned slightly behind the other. Rather than get his lazy rear out of the truck he just didn't empty the second can. I called to complain and they said they would charge me to come out and empty the can because it wasn't positioned correctly. They had just switched to the new method of picking up trash and I wasn't even aware. If you can, choose a small collection company. All the large companies are just there to screw us. A while back I called to complain. A manager got on the line and said that if I didn't stop complaining they were going to cancel my service. Holy cow! They must have enough business that if they get a complaint, rather than working to improve they just fire the customer. Ridiculous! Happy I'm leaving!

Do not get sucked into their cheap rates, their service is horrible. No upper management, no one returns calls, broke our fence and still have not responded to our repair request.

Because we complained about their 2 and 3 am pickup they have moved our dumpster very far from our building as retaliation how childish you provide bad service then play move the dumpster to make it hard on the elderly to get their trash out. Return our west side of the complex to the right spot

Never doing business again with them. Waste Connections consistently failed to meet the terms of their contracts and their communication was extremely poor. They renew contracts automatically without proper notice and threaten legal action if you try to cancel. Overall, a very unprofessional and disappointing experience.

Waste connections will charge their customers for services not provided. Say, bad weather hits, instead of picking up as soon as they can they will just skip you. They refuse to adjust bills when they don't provided the service they are paid to provide.

Bad Service

Missed pickups, don't do what they say they are going to, try to double charge you, do not have any customer loyalty. If I were looking for trash service, I would look somewhere else.

I had to leave at least 1 star. 0 was not an option.

5 year contract, start low $ but soon you will pay more in garbage removal than your mortgage. You provide them an open check for 5 years.

Not reliable

As a business that generates a lot of diaper trash we count on our Tuesday and Friday pickups. Our Tuesday pickup rarely comes. Even after we call on Monday to make sure they say they will be here Tuesday but don't arrive. I don't know if they have staffing issues but since they have a monopoly on this service in Waxahachie it is a bad look for both the company and the city.

Waste Connections, you give them business for years, then have to have your lawyer involved to cancel the contract when you no longer own the place.

They are complete crap. The customer service is impossible to get a hold of. They increase your rates frequently. They are rude, uneducated imbeciles. They operate very unethically. I have been trying to cancel service with them for over a month and I go weeks without getting a single reply to my emails.

This company is so horrible. They do not care about their customers. They are inconsistent on pick up days and time when you call customer service they are $#*!. They will not help you and they will not come out until the next week. Then they try to say that the trashcan was not outside the location And they look up cameras to show that it wasn't. They always pick up at a certain time until it's convenient for them to switch up the time so that they can screw customers they went from $40 for two trash cans up to $80 for two trash cans in a matter of one year and they try to say that you do not look at your invoice so that you can renew the contract. I've been a a customer since 2017 and yet they wanna treat me like this. I will be looking for other trash companies in my area. I am done with this stupid company.

Bait and switch

They quoted me a price online that I signed up for and then added another $40 onto it without telling me and then charged me a late fee for not paying it. When I called in about it they said "thats why we want you to call in to sign up" as if it was my fault that their website lies about the price youre going to pay for service.

Terrible

This company is terrible. We have back yard service for a reason. They have missed our address more than they have stopped and picked up my trash. The people on the phone will lie to you and just tell you what you want to hear. I have had to threaten to call the department of health because it got so bad. Terrible company. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Idk what has happened over that last 6 years bur I started with American Disposal and for the first year or so they were great. After that they started going down hill and occasionally missing pick ups and customer service soon followed into the gutter. Eventually they rebranded to Waste Connection which I believe was a weak attempt to save face. Their service has gotten so bad I can count on one had how many times my trash has been picked up on time in the last 6 months and still have a few fingers left over. I literally just watched their truck drive by my house on trash day and not pick it up. Getting a hold if customer service is nearly impossible and when you can get ahold of them they will usually tell you sorry, you're SOL amd will have to wait till the next scheduled pick up. Avoid Waste Connection at all costs. You'd be better off just taking your trash to the dump yourself.
