Tyler is the driver that picks up our trash cart in Mart, TX. He is a very nice and friendly young man.
We had been using progressive waste since 2017 which was bought out by waste connections and have received increases by 100% over the past 2 years without notice which forced us to look elsewhere. We gave 30 days notice of cancellation 3 months ago and this company refuses to pick up their bins, wont return phone calls or emails and continues to bill us. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AS THEY HAVE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!
They continually miss their pickup days and when I call in to complain. They miss the rescheduled pickup 3 weeks in a row but they still try charging for all the missed pick up days. I would not use again if I had another choice.
They hardly pick up on schedule. They never stick to their schedule. When they pick up trash they leave most of it in the bottom! And customer service never gives you a straight answer
Waste Connections recently sent me an additional bill for quarter 1 of 2023. A phone call to customer no-service stated that there was an approved rate increase of about 7%. This bill was already paid in full in December and now they are coming back demanding more. Complete GARBAGE! Our community has had issues with this company for years - very aggressive drivers, sloppy work where trash is not meticulously cleaned up if it falls out of the truck, missed pickups, and numerous rate increases..
Worst customer service ever! They literary left trash scatteres in feont of my home. Call customer & her attitude was worse.
They do not follow their own scheduled pick up days, billing practices are questionable at best (but the billing is always on time as scheduled!), and customer service is practically impossible to contact and are of no help.
(WAXAHACHIE TX). Waste Connection WORST SERVICE EVER. They have a 1.75 stars out of 5 says it all. For years I've had trouble getting trash pickup. They have no set time, come at 7am, 1pm, 3pm, OR NOT AT ALL. I ask to speak to a super, they say one will call. THEY NEVER HAVE. Calling after 5, you get a machine. AND NO WAY TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. TIMES WHEN MY TRASH HAS WAITED 2 DAYS FOR PICK UP LEAVING ME NO CONTAINER. IVE CALLED 9 7 2-289-6587. 9 7 2-9 39-8836. 9 72-389-6814. 2 1 4-748-5221, NO ONE ANSWERS AFTER 5, AUTO ANSWER, "ofc closed,call back". Thing is, I call at 4;00pm and they say, it'll be pickup up. BUT THE TRASH DOESN'T GET PICKED UP! Waste Connection,UNPROFESSIONAL. HORRIBLE COMPANY. Paying for no service is stressful.
Shop around, as Waste Connections is extremely over priced. They continue to increase the costs of the services they provide. We are paying 1500.00 more each month compared to their competitors. Absolutely unacceptable! Consider yourself warned!
Is 0 stars an option? Waste connections bought out our former private trash company with no notice from either company. They have not picked up three times in 5 weeks (2 recycles and 1 trash) despite the cans being on the curb the night before. After emailing multiple times, you only receive automated responses saying someone will contact you. NOPE! I've called to report no recycle pick up 2x, customer service agent proceeded to say "we don't pick up recycling". Then I asked for that can to be picked up and a refund for the prepaid separate charge for recycling I was told NO to both. Customer service agent said my bill won't change even if I got rid of the recycling despite having 2 distinct charges on my invoice for trash cans and a recycle can. I demanded a call from management and was told "Kyle" will give you a call back. NOPE! Now today our trash is not being picked up. Their business model appears to be that of theiving A$$——-, they charge you for services the repeatedly do not provide. Customer service is the absolute worst I have ever seen.
Sadly WFN took on this firm! They refused to invoice me to pick up my residential garbage. I had the money and wanted to pay them as this is the new company brought in with no alternatives to choose from.
But... because I would not give them a void cheque or my credit card number, they refused me service!
I pay $160 for water every 3 months and $4000 for property taxes to Westbank First Nations every year, (among other fees).
I just paid $200 for admin fees to Lakeridge Park for God knows what? Now I am rewarded for my good behaviour with refusal to collect my garbage?...because somehow this sh1t company mysteriously took over the entire contract with no other options to choose from!

What a sh1t show and run around with still no results. If you can use another company...do it! 360 waste removal is way better than these guys!
Their overview and ratings don't surprise me at all! We should all quit paying them and contribute all our money into opening a reliable, dependable service that actually shows up when they are suppose to. They are lucky there is no one else in this business and we are all stuck with their crappy service...I guarantee if there was another trash company we would All Switch! I wish they would go out of business so we could be forced to use someone, anyone else...
Upon calling waste connections customer services. The experience I endured with a representative name Melva, was great. She was very respectful, professional, and thorough. My claim was taken respectfully. I was assured that the issues I was having with my pickup service will be corrected immediately and followed up with a courtesy call later. Thanks W/C for being there for your customers.
They did not even attempt to pick up my trash that WAS sitting by the road i called the company and after an hour wait i guess they must get a lot of complaints i got nothing but the run around from the woman on the phone telling me they would not be picking up my trash better luck next week DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are not the cheapest by far and they are not wroth all the hassle you will go through the have made zero effort to help in anyway and this is not the first or the second or even the third time i have had to deal with this trust me save yourself the headache and look elsewhere if not do not say i did not warn you!
Trash service that's worse than the garbage they pick up. They are gouging elderly people on fixed incomes. Raised their prices to double after changing the name. So when the crap hits the fan they just change the name back to RAD again. Also canceled them weeks ago and they're trying to bill my mother. Go to WM. Much cheaper and affordable for the same 2 days a week service. Waste Management is way better all around.
Miss pick up all the time, call to report missed pick up is useless because promises to pick up never happen.

They miss pick ups and lie about the reason for not picking up, usually happens around holidays. Most of all READ YOUR CONTRACT/AGREEMENT BEFORE SIGNING!
Waste Connections bought out our original company, but we continued with them for convenience. Rates went up rather quickly. We got one quarter at senior rates. Their customer service is terrible. When we called for anything, we were on hold for 45 minutes. I discontinued auto pay when I finally terminated their service and they still charged me $23 to discontinue. They threw away two of my planters that were near (but not with) the trash. Terrible company!
Answer: It's a legit company, but they have horrible business practices. No refund for 3 weeks of non service.
