The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Bough tickets to Andrea Bocelli in Adelaide paid more than double and when received price on the tickets was marked $99 very dificult to ask for $217.83 from friends never again.
Bought 2 tickets for Froch vs Groves for this Saturday for £100 each on the day the tickets were released (should have gone elsewhere), after being told i would expect to receive my tickets 3 days before the event i sat tight. Now 2 days before im being told a 'team of 2 people' are looking into it because the seller has not posted the tickets (not my issue i bought them off viagogo), and otherwise I will given replacement tickets (you cant get tickets for the price I paid anymore) or a refund, in which I still could not get a definite answer so that I could maybe sauce other tickets. Not to mention their customer service representative hanging up on me when asked to be put through to a superior. DONT BUY TICKETS FROM VIAGOGO, this seems to be quite common, companies shouldn't be able to sell and promise goods that they do not have!
Bought tix to 3 different Eurovision events which are really hard to get from Australia without a European credit card. First lot posted and received fine. 2nd and 3rd events both had issues with the seller which Viagogo resolved, getting us other tickets and even refunding part of the cost on one set. They responded promptly and sincerely to all my enquiries NB don't complain about the ticket price - it's set by the seller and not Viagogo, they are just the broker for that person.
I've been waiting whole week my ticket to football match Rome-Juventus.
Now ticket is sent back to seller...
They say that my address was not correct.
Address was correct and I repeat this: I put address label with my surname outside of door and on ringbell to ring inside. I put address inside on the mailbox and then into the door.
What else I should have done. To catch a delivery man and yell: look here it is, look!
This is ridiculous way of selling tickets... maybe there was no ticket at all. There's no straight contact between seller and receiver. Only slow system via ViaGOGO. They ask in 48 hours when over 3 days to happening and in 24 hours when under 3 days to happening. I write back and there's answer which is sort of routine answer. And that goes without knowing what is happening. Slow, slow, slow. Time goes out and now ticket is sent back to seller. Or was there any ticket at all?!
Why not straight answer-question chat between people. You fool people. Avoid ViaGOGO!
Viagogo is simply a legal scalping site. Wanted to buy 5 seconds of summer tix which were 2&1/2 to 10 times dace value PLUS a $38 booking fee PLUS a $7.95 handling fee! Disgraceful.
I purchased tickets for an FC Barcelona match several days before the match. Through a confirmation email I was instructed to pick up the tickets in a hotel lobby with a viagogo represenative prior to the match. The hotel was located close to the stadium, the pick-up was easy, the agents were friendly and answered my questions. The tickets we purchases were season-tickets--they had the ticket holders name and photo on the card. The agent said we wouldn't have trouble getting into the stadium and we didn't. We did have to return them to the hotel lobby desk clerk after the match (not a viagog rep.) This concerned me a little, but the rep indicated that this was the common practice for FC tickets and that they worked closely with the hotel. The drop-off went fine and my credit card was charged accurately. Overall, a good experience.
Great company to deal with, very reliable, always has good tickets available for concerts and sporting events that i like, also sold via them with no problems
What a terrible experience. My tickets were not delivered, due to fedex and customs issues. Viagogo cannot be blamed for this, but what they can be blamed for is horrible customer service. Tracking the tickets on fedex, I could tell they had been returned to the sender. I spoke with viagogo 3 times and each time was told someone would get back to me--no one ever got back to me. The final time I spoke with them I was told I would have my money refunded. That was ONE MONTH AGO. So viagogo has simply decided to keep my GBP 500! I would advise anyone using viagogo to ignore their "guarantee". Viagogo clearly thinks they can ignore this guarantee and steal people's money. This company is as bad as it gets.
Bought tickets, turned out seller had mis-advertised them, Viagogo gave me a full refund. I tried Viagogo again, but with a different seller, this time tickets were valid and as advertised. All worked perfectly. I don't give 5/5 because really Viagogo should have checked the tickets that I initially purchased to ensure they were as advertised, but they failed in that task. They did ring me as soon as I complained, and were very apologetic about it.
Needed tickets for the 14' Rolling Stones shows in Japan, which were impossible to get without having a registered mailing address in Japan. For a technical sophisticated country like Japan, I was shocked how impossible it was to be able to order tickets online. Someone should tell them its not 1994 anymore. Anyways, I found Viagogo, got my tickets (a tad pricey on the service fees - but that's everywhere these days), and received me tickets asap and in plenty of time before the show.
Do NOT use this to buy tickets. Rip off & nerve racking experience ever. I received my tickets on the day of the event (lunch time). They wanted me to go to am undisclosed place to pick up tickets after reassuring me that I was to get the tickets 3 days before, which is bad enough. What did I pay delivery for? I even gave them permission to give the seller my number & got nothing... the call centre had no idea & were of no help. Stick to ticketek & ticketmaster. At least you know you'll get your tickets!
Listed tickets, sold tickets and was paid promptly by Viagogo. What more could I ask for?
I thought Viagogo was a really good sight to buy tickets from :) My partner and I wanted to go see Bruce Springsteen and we looked on ticketek and the tickets were totally exhausted but we found viagogo and got general admission tickets in the stand up area within minuets they were pricy but totally worth ever single cent we had the time of our lives and thanks to viagogo we were able to go :)
Please dont use this site. I brought tickets to bruce stringstein concert for 177 bucks each as this is the price I thought they were only to get them and find they were purchased by some guy 2 days later (date of purchase was on tickets) and they were only 98.50 each. Was told that I couldnt get a refund for the difference and the face value of the tickets would have been on their website. What a crock why would I pay an extra 80 bucks a ticket.
Beware don't buy tickets from Viagogo. This is a scam. They need to be investigated by authorities.
I received my tickets today for the Bruce Springsteen concert and found that are in a restricted area high up in the gods. I bought theses tickets last year in August for $500.00 and they are only worth $256.00. What a rip off!
They should be investigated as this is not legit. Stay away.
Bad experience I have gone to bank to put in dispute resolution as I paid via credit card and haven't received legitimate tickets. More people that do this world wide the better, my bank is very interested and investigating. Bank contacted me on Friday to bring in all correspondence emails to and from VIAGOGO. So they are taking this seriously. I suggest all you others do the same. Keep your paper trail.

Provided fraudulent tickets for Australian open 2014 and will not respond to emails
Booked and paid for soccer tickets.
When we arrived at stadium we went to ticket pick up and after a few minutes they handed over our tickets.
No worries with the purchase of tickets, just our Spanish is lacking, big time when
Trying to explain we had already purchased tickets and we wanted to just pick the tickets up.
I booked a ticket to the Australia Open tennis 2 days before the day of play. The ticket was marked up by $164 against the original purchase price, but as the event was sold out (and I am a huge tennis fan) I decided to go ahead with the purchase. Even though It took a few nerve racking hours before I received my e-ticket and I was skeptical about entering the grounds on the day, it all worked out ok and I had the best seat I have ever had at Rod Laver Arena.
All in all for my first experience, I found it reliable, although a little expensive. I guess it depends on how much extra you are willing to pay for a sold out event...!
REF: VIAGOGO: TERRIBLE SERVICE
I'VE BOUGHT TICKETS FOR A MATCH IN ITALY, HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE TICKETS, HAVE SPENT US$ 40 IN INTERNATIONAL CALLS AND HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY CLUE IF, WHEN AND HOW MY TICKETS WILL COME. THE MATCH IS TOMORROW.

Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
