Spent my entire lunch break trying to see how to ship oversized package. The automated system won't let you talk to anyone and no matter what you say it says did you say something completely different than what you asked. Clearly they could care less so won't be using UPS again. Posting my experience every were I possibly can. Poor customer service will catch up when the shipping frenzy ends. I had a package that (unbeknownst to me) required a signature. When I tried to talk to UPS about scheduling it or finding a way to know the approximate time of delivery, I couldn't get past the voice prompts. After several tries I finally got a person who assured me I now had an account on their app that would tell me when the package would arrive, but wait 15 minutes to check it. I think that was to get rid of me because not only did I not have an account set up it wouldn't let me set up an account.
I finally reached out to the sender and it took me about 2 minutes to get them to notify UPS of a new delivery address where someone will be here to sign for the package.
Shippers please don't use UPS. It's not worth the hassle for me to deal with them and from now on I'll try to order from businesses that use reliable shipping companies.
Item collected 8th December, lost by 11th. I paid for insurance up to £1k so I thought I was covered. I sent lots of evidence backing up my claim. Claim showing as approved but still no money, in spite of numerous telephone calls. Every time I call, the pay date is put back further. We are talking £300.00 here so not unsubstantial. I am giving them until the end of January then I will approach The Small Claims Court. Don't touch UPS with a bargepole!
I am honestly not sure if they're just incompetent, liars, or liars AND thieves. All I know is my packages are continously marked as delivered despite the fact that I never receive them. I have a ring and full property surveillance. Sometimes they never even come on my road, yet they somehow deliver my packages?
Consistently late. Despite promises always delivers after 10 PM. Addresses mixed up. Very poor customer support. Good luck talking to anybody if your package is missing. Auto help on their web page is a joke. Prices are significantly more expensive than USPS, DHL, and FedEx.
UPS delivered an oven to my patio. The door on the oven was shattered, and the box it was packed in was falling apart. They would not pick up the package because the box was falling apart, and it was dangerous for their driver to move it. They dumped a broken oven with damaged packaging, and I have to pay to remove it.
Amazon should tell you when they will be using UPS -- because then the customer can CANCEL the order to avoid the wasted time and order it from someone else.
UPS doesn't even TRY to deliver and send it to a nearby moldy and infectious CVS that we are supposed to drive to and pick up (and catch disease). UPS doesn't care whatsoever and offers no solutions.
The day after I opened my claim I received a new routing number from the sender. The package came later that day. I'm happy to have my purchase, but why did I get a proof of delivery a full day before I got my package?
UPS sends a "proof of delivery" when they leave a package. How is that proof? Proof would be actually getting the package! I received this so-called proof, but no package. The recourse is to open a claim. Good luck with that! I have spent 2 hours going through setting up a UPS ID and and login and then filling out a claim. Fortunately, the item I lost was inexpensive - I'm just going to move on and forget it. This is not a customer oriented company.
I have problems with you guy's almost everytime i get something from you. You mark things attempted when no one came to my door or anything this service sucks most likely wont ever be using you guys again
Why can't you just leave the package at the door? Do you expect people to be home 24/7? No one wants to go to the damn ups store to pick up, when you could've just left it at the door.
I order a lot from Amazon. I aggressively try to avoid products that will be delivered by UPS. Because I know that I have to track it closely and then go try to find it somewhere on my property which is usually on the curb with tire tracks. But Amazon's delivery service is awesome! They actually want feedback to know how they performed. UPS doesn't want to know. Just horrible all they way around.

I bought a pair of ray bans on Dec 8th as a Christmas gift, it is January 19th and still don't have them. I tried contacting customer service after an hour of going through there non sense. They told me to file a report, which I did. It has now been 3 weeks since I have heard from them. At this point I think I just wasted 170$ and UPS will do nothing to help me. I had to contacted Ray bans directly and they answered within minutes. Hopefully this company along with others will be smart enough not to partner with them any longer. I have not been this upset in awhile. Thanks for wasting my money UPS and doing absolutely nothing about it, what a great company!
Shipper MEGA packed my box. Box arrived warped and with broken pieces inside. All 4 sides marked fragile with arrows pointing up. Absolutely avoidable.
I was expecting a package monday, but we got a snow storm.
Instead of delivering the package later in the week (even if it's late) they are returning it to sender.
So instead of having the package late by 3 or 4 days, I will now have to wait for the sender to receive the package, resend the package, and then the transit time. Thus being about 2 weeks late instead of 4 days.
There is no reason why a company would think this is an intelligent way to deal with things. They are inventing delays. I will not deal with them again.
I've been waiting for a package that was to be delivered Friday Sept. 16 2022, but I had to pay import fees.
Which I paid the import fees on Thursday Sept. 15 2022. Now the date for delivery was moved up to Tuesday Sept. 20 after waiting on the item to be delivered on Friday Sept. 16 2022.
All day Tuesday Sept. 20 I waited outside to not miss the UPS delivery guy.
Finally when he came after 6:00 pm about 6:15 or 6:20 he won't leave the parcel as there is an import duty on it. I explained it to him that was paid last Thursday Sept. 15 and he still didn't want to leave the parcel. I told him I have the e-receipt and he said he doesn't want to see it, so I told him just take it back as I'm tired of playing games with this UPS company I just had enough.
Even with a receipt they would not hand over my parcel, so why do they phone you up and tell you have charges owing to UPS and then accept the payment and not give you the parcel.
I also have the confirmation number given to me but I don't think I can put it on here.
It's my back up to fight with these scammers and rip off artists.
UPS is the biggest rip off and scammers going!
If purchasing anything please ask if there are any other means for shipment or courier service.
You do not want to go through what I or anyone else went through with this company (UPS).

6 December 2921 UPS picks up an envelope from my home address in Ireland. Recipients is a 19-year old friend of mine in Russia. 8 December the envelope arrives in Moscow airport. The envelope contains a Christmas present. To make a long story shorter, the envelope never left the warehouse till 11 January 2022, so more than a month later. UPS Moscow wants recipients company information. I emailed that there is no company - no business, just a private gift for a friend. She lives 700km east of Moscow, but the envelope stays in Moscow and UPS does not call her. UPS asks for a copy of her passport. I email the ID pages. The very next day UPS decides to return the envelope to Ireland. The envelope arrived in their Irish warehouse on 12 January 2022. They do not deliver it back to me, because "the address is incomplete", even though they knew how to pick it up from the same address. It is now more than a week later, and still nothing, even after lots of emails and phone calls. Forget about UPS!

More good news. Our local UPS facility in Ludington MI is a GREAT group of employees! I have OFTEN arrived late in the evening, and, if there is someone there, they ALWAYS greet me with a smile!

Not if, but when UPS damages our shipments it is HELL to work with their claims department. They have this stupid rule that says the recipient MUST save the carton for inspection. What century was this rule invented? Even when the customer provided over ten photos clearly showing damage and mishandling, the claim was denied.

I gave UPS a four. Why? Because there's no one else out there. I'm not comparing them to God, I'm comparing them to the rest. The PO is, well, gov subsidized and dying/dead. FedEx has its problems too.
We ship around 50 to 100 shipments per week. Using UPS SIMPLE RATE via UPS Market Place. VERY HANDY! This is what keeps us at UPS.
Downside--->
Filing a lost/damaged claim is HELL and takes weeks and there is a 54-page PDF that I failed to read that says the receiver MUST save the carton for examination. What?
The is a laser scanner that measures dimensions ON THE FLY while the shipment is moving, so I've been told. So, we make WEEKLY calls to C/S to reverse extra charges.
More extra charges---> PEAK DEMAND SURCHARGE. What? Who does this? Why do I get charged if a bunch of people ship packages at the same time?
More extra charges---> ADDITIONAL HANDLING-PACKAGING/OTHER
No one in C/S can give a VIABLE explanation other than stupid stuff like "You must use corticated cardboard" or "You must use packaging tape", So tempted to say ---> "oh, you mean we can't just wrap used toilet paper around the item?"
So, we call C/S EVERY WEEK and have about 10-20 or so charges reversed out of 50-100.
Bottom line. Where else can we go?
I would like to give them a 10 stars but of negative stars, they are very untrustworthy company full of lies, the agents told you something on the phone and later they do whatever they want with your packages.
I was expecting a package to be delivered for Friday January 14 if 2022 and I paid to be delivered that specific date and they never delivered on that date, I call the same day at UPS and they told me that they extended the delivery window for Friday before midnight? How have been recieved packages from UPS before midnight? This is a full lie and BS, so I finally got someone on the phone around 10 pm the same friday night and they told me that my package was going to be rescheduled for next day ( saturday January the 15 2022 and they never did, also they promised me that an a supervisor was going to call me Saturday morning and they never did like always, the always lie about that and have been fighting with UPS for the same reason for more than 5 years and I never have recieved a call for any supervisor at all, this company is worthless and all the employees that fallow a script full of BS and lies.
This company shouldn't exist anymore they should gofile for a bankruptcy ASAP!

Besides that the driver are the worst because they don really care about what is inside the packages and they thru the package over fences careless what is inside that could break.
I ordered cat food through Amazon Prime to get Prime delivery, what I get instead is UPS not delivering my package after 3 days of notification that the next day would be the day. I finally tricked their phone inquiry hurdle system; 3 calls later, into letting me speak with a person. That person stated their name indecipherably 3 times on purpose, as to not be identifiable... then spoke to me in a very broken English ish type of way. They did understand my tracking number and verified my address had been correct, even though the driver was turning in the address as not correct. Customer service also guaranteed that I would receive my starving cats food today (1-15-22). I gave a phone number for contact, if needed. An hour later some dufus called from *******200 stating that it was " impossible" to deliver my package today, yet I could drive to pick it up. He also called my 2nd phone and not the one I gave customer service. It is as possible for me to pick it up, as it is for you to deliver it... it is more professional for you to deliver it and more possible, being it is twice the mileage for me to pick it up. I will be letting Amazon know that my deliveries are never to be made by UPS ever again. Please merge your name with FedEx and Prime to get rid of the circus act known as UPS. Your systems are terrible and you underperform what a group of chimpanzees could do. Start with getting me my package today and fire the dufus who called the wrong number saying that it was " impossible" to deliver today (3 days late).

I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
