I had a problem with St. Regis hotel in Shanghai and was unable to get a satisfied response for their mishandling of entire trip. Trip.com stepped up and offered a compensation on their behalf. This is rare as the booking agent did more than the actual hotel. A surprising and welcoming twist. I'll be using them more knowing I have some protection while traveling in China.
It was my first time using this website and I like it because of the ease of booking and the fact that it accepted paypal for payment.

You site locked up on me during payment. Called customer service and she couldn't help. I sent her the info and asked her to book and she picked something significantly more expensive. I went back into your site and did it myself and got my original price.

On recent booking for wife's travel to sKorea on Korean Airlines, we are not able to obtain the seats for Houston to Atlanta until reportedly a day prior to departure. The same on the return travel leg. Not good. Trip.com advises to contact the airline the day prior to departure for the seat in Apr. Easier set up on Booking.com.

We have 5 adults and one infant and trying to buy a seat for the infant. But the system won't let us do it. It offers 5 adults, 1 infant and 1 child for traveling persons. When removed the child as traveling person, it only allows to buy 5 adults tickets and infant sitting on lap. Frustrating experience.

I use Trip for many functions (flights, trains, hotels, eSIM cards) and I find the interface easy to use (although the font size is small despite my phone's settings).

In Cambodia and trip made my travels to Thailand simple and offered great options from who stayed at places I was interested in visiting

When searching the Web found Trip.com to offer the best priced direct flights from Brisbane to Osaka and return from Nerita to Brisbane. Search process was easy as well as Booking process. Second time I've used Trip.com and will continue into the future.

There is much I like about the Trip.com app, especially the convenience of being able to book flights, hotels, tours, and rent cars and other transportation all from one app so that I see the big picture of the trip. However, there is one thing that takes the shine away from all the positives.This is the third trip where I enter date parameters and you show me things that diverge from them and so I wind up thinking I have booked one thing only to discover when the confirmation email arrives that I booked something different. No doubt part of that is because I am usually working off a phone (which is what travellers use!), but Trip.com usually winds up COSTING ME MORE $$ because I have to go back and make changes.

Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.
