Never book with Travel up

I booked a room online with travel up worst mistake I booked a room for 2 nights for my birthday they took the money out my account and sent me a fake confirmation number I showed up at the hotel at 3 for check in and waited in line to be told I wasn't in the system and to call the company I waited around till 7 to get it resolved with the company to be told over and over waiting hours on the phone and hold kept getting hung up on after being told to wait 10 minutes after hours still please wait 5-10 minutes to get it resolved the next day I just called to hotel to see if the had me and still no reservation bottom line they stole my money is how I'm feeling I just want my money back I missed my days I booked and still nothing

Bait and Switch
June 9, 2022

The resort I booked was a about $90 a night less than any other website (Including Marriott itself). I figured there was a catch and scoured the website to figure out if there were fees hidden. After not finding any information regarding this I booked the hotel. $770 for 3 nights. After booking I get a "hotel voucher" that I have to turn in when I arrive at the hotel. On the bottom of the voucher it says I'm responsible for a $130 per person resort fee upon arrival. It's myself and 1 other making the cost of the resort fee over 30% of the total cost of the booking. Within 5 minutes I sent a request to cancel to which I was answered saying they can't cancel it because they have fees they need to pay. EVERY single time I've ever booked ANYTHING relating to travel, I was able to cancel within 24 hours. This is industry standard. For hotels you usually have up until 72 hours out to still get a 50% refund. My trip isn't for 3 more weeks. I will never use this company again and will follow up with an FTC complaint for the companies extremely poor business practice.

Poor customer service

I have been trying to rearrange a flight for my mother for over a month now (due to illness). Today, after a 1hr wait on the phone I had the member of staff hang up on me without even taking the ref. No. Or speaking to me.

They do not know how to deal/talk with the customers. Too rude and they do not care about the customer request or their needs. Just stick with their opinion what they think. As a customer i can't go for their wish.

I booked a 2 bedroom family suite in Jamaica and when I called the resort to confirm the booking it turns out that you guys booked me one single room for 4 people. And when I called you to question it I got a whole bunch of nonsense that made no sense whatsoever. Now I'm gonna have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Horrible!

No refund and flight cancel

Be careful! Never buy ticket from them as I booked month before and now my flight got cancel and asking for £50 administration fee.
Call them thousand time and all the time telling lies someone will call you but no one call and saying refund might take 12 weeks.
Been scammed soo badly and now not replying my emails and not answer my call.

Call today again on Friday 2:30 pm and saying some one will call you on Monday. What a joke.
And no refund no ticket nothing made yet

I booked a hotel in your site and I found another one for cheaper and a better hotel in less than 20 minutes. I tried to cancel it right away so I wouldn't get charged but site wouldn't let me. I called the next day and representative told me I would get charged $28 just to cancel. I don't think that's fair considering I tried to cancel within an hour from booking. I don't think I'll be using your site ever again.

Scam! Stay Away

Scam! Stay away. I made a reservation for a hotel in Cancun. They send me a confirmation number and say all was set. Travel up Charge me $935 for the hotel. When I travel to Cancun, the hotel say they don't have a reservation. When I call Travelup they told me to give them half hour to proceed with the reservation, after more than 3 hours and calling them again and again, they didn't get my calls anymore and they never made my reservation. So we where there in Cancun, in spring break, without a place to stay and they never responded. We finished reserving a low class hotel because we don't have the money at the moment to afford paying double. After a week they send us a refund. This is the worst company ever and hope everyone stay away from them.
