This is a scam company that has cost me nearly £4k. It's been nearly a month to rebook some flights and I've got nowhere. I wish I read all the scathing reviews on all the review websites AVOID

I made a mistake in my booking and contacted travelup within minutes of my booking going through.
I phones and was not ablet to get through. At the same time I emailed.
It took 2 days to get a reply which was very unhelpful 1 sentence replies I needed to wait for well over 12 hours at times. While the flights where getting more expensive.
I had booked me and my 2 kids to fly to Frankfurt.
I misspelled the first name of my child ( an honest mistake and I knew I would need to pay for a new flight and just wanted help how to do this.
The original praice for the 3 was £416
To rebook my child with the correct name they wanted £360
Fees, and fines apparently...
This is unbelievable.
Not just that they where not very helpful ad the outcome is unacceptable
There customer service is neither quilified nor articulate.
The email support was a joke.
So if you are in a rush or about to fly this is outragious.
The help line I waited 3 times up to 45 min then got to someone 2x and both times was transferred to the sales team and both times I was just hung up on while waiting.
This is very disappointing customer service, actually worse than Ryanair in the heydays.
Watch out and make sure you tick all boxes correct as there is no way to correct anything. Worse you cant even book a new flight. So as it stands my 8 year old wont be able to be booked on out flight.
In the 4 days I have tried solving the issue the flight price rose and who knows what they offer when the flight is full... guess we all stay home and lose our family flights.
The outcome... non of us can fly as I can hardly leave an 8 year old at home.
Smooth and a great price. The checkout process was as easy as any other site

The website was easy to use and the pricing was great. The only issue is that there wasn't much detail about the hotel we chose. For example the site didn't list check in or check out time. Upon review directly from the hotel's website, they don't list that information either! So, maybe it wasn't your issue.

Cannot print out hotel voucher sent to me by TravelUp. Tried three different computers, both Apple and Windows and none could render the hotel voucher which must be presented upon arrival at hotel. Called hotel and was told that a voucher is required as proof of payment.

Misleading Airline Scam on Travel Up, AVOID!
I booked with TravelUp to Istanbul on a Turkish Airways flight. Clearly stated Turkish airways on Travelup. And paid a premium price because its Turkish Airways. However when we boarded to the plane, it was NOT Turkish Airways, it was Anadolu Jet operated by Turkish airways. This was no where mentioned when I booked on Travelup site. Anadolu Jet airline does not exist on Travelup website. Anadolu is worse than Ryanair or any other airline. I rang them and the lady Jenna (indian lady with no customer service skills) from Travelup said, we cannot do anything, speak to Turkish airways, which I am in talk with right now, however Turkish airline said go back to to your Travel agent which is Travelup. I am now still on holiday and need my return flight sorting out, I cannot go on that dingy old narrow aircraft again. Not even for free! That's like booking Emirates and getting Easy Jet. I paid for Turkish Airways, You give me Turkish Airways!

Not an honest company. During the booking of a hotel, I was never mentioned that local taxes and resort fees are to be paid directly at the hotel. They only mentioned that after the booking / payment was confirmed. That means that throughout the whole booking process I never had the chance to truly see the final cost of the booking. They showed "hotel rate + taxes = total"... but there were still hidden costs. As it is a non-refundable booking, I would lose all my money if I canceled. A misleading process. First and last time I'm using this website.

Travelup is absolutely the WORST agency I have ever dealt with. ZERO customer care! I have £460 credit from a cancelled flight, and they are NOT allowing me to use it in spite of many emails I sent them, they have NO SYSTEM to use such credit which is a TOTAL SCAM from travel UP. Would never ever recommend using them, unless you wish to lose your hard-earned cash!

The site doesn't make the the cancellation fee upfront … it is deceiving to the customer because they dont make it known that there is not a 24-72 hr free cancellation period and they take a significant amount out of your deposit. I would never use this site again, i work hard to vacation and they have lost my trust.
