Don't ever use this company, they take your deposit then send you links to pay the balance to some foreign speakers in another country, I have today reported this company, stay well clear of this RIP of company, see enclosed screenshot

I originally booked flights from Heathrow to Johannesburg departing 30 Dec 22 and returning 21 Jan 23 at a cost of approx £1240 for 2 persons.
I called Travelup to change the return flight from 21 Jan 23 to 28 Jan 23, which they quoted me an extra £363 per person (total cost now approx £1970 for 2 persons). At this stage I was told the high cost to change the flight return date was die to "seasonality and demand").
When I went online to look at the exact same flights they were £1540 for 2 persons on BA website (booking as if it was an entirely new booking).
I queried the variance of approx £430, and I was told that BA charge a booking change fee of nearly £200.
Upon going onto the BA website to investigate this, the BA website says that the Global Service fee for booking changes is £30.
This means if I had booked directly by myself on BA website, I would have paid approx £1240 (original cost) + £60 (for booking change fees) = £1300
I have now paid nearly £2000, which I cannot get refunded or cancelled.
I would not use TravelUp again, transparency levels are not good, and the general feeling I got was that they will tell you any random thing to milk your pocket dry. I felt I was dealt with in an unethical fashion.
Next time I will book direct and save myself being extorted.

Travelup are SCAMMERS! Booked a flight with them in 2020, airline won't take passengers due to covid. I was issued a voucher and asked to claim voucher for cash refund after one year, over two years later no refund was given, I have over called and tired of calling customer service is zero. I promised a * that I will storm all travelup review site daily including social handles he said I should go ahead.

It was easy to make my reservation. Didn't take very long either. Online safety must be important to TravelUp as they have a verification process. Couldn't change a name on a reservation when I couldn't attend a conference in Las Vegas and was forced to send one of my employees in my place. Tried to charge me full rate despite it being days before booking date... it's called customer service - something very few companies appreciate or bother to quantify in a meaningful way. There's one reason a company like that pulls this nonsense - to suck every penny out of you when they can and kick you when you're down. This the absolute LAST time I will EVER book with TravelUp ever again. The lack of service is beyond pathetic.
I booked with this company Travel Up to go to Zimbabwe for a wedding. I paid £805 return but I wanted to the e-tickets for hour. The guys just tell me you get your tickets in 24 hours. I call again some told me 48 hours to issue something which is just a click of button. I call now I wait 2 hours with one talking to anyone.It's best to book with the airline. A. Katsande

SCAM COMPANY! I got ripped off by this company and they ruined my anniversary weekend celebration by taking my money for a 5 star hotel reservation (which I found out was never actually made) then the day before said they cancelled it. They have the worst customer service and phone manner I've ever dealt with. They kept hanging up on me whenever I called to get my money back. I'm now on a facebook group with nearly 2000 other people who have been scammed by this company.

Easy to navigate, good details and like that the check in is already generated
I booked a flight, after payment had gone through a window appeared which read "There was an error with your booking". There was no mechanism for me to view the error. I then received an e-ticket which showed wrong dates of travel. I called their customer service. I was left on hold for nearly an hour while they went to investigate. Never came back. I emailed their office. They offered to partially refund me. This is a scam travel website. Read my experience before you proceed to use the website to book flights.

I found a hotel on Travel Up for $80 that was over $400 on other sites. I was skeptical and after reading reviews I was downright nervous that the room would not be available when we arrived. I reserved both rooms and when I called the hotel a few days before our check in date we had 2 identical rooms. Again 1 at $80 and the other $444, identical rooms?!?!?! We cancelled the expensive room and checked in to our "discount" room that was beautiful and a great value! I see a lot of the bad reviews have to do with customer service and cancellations. We did not ever call Travel up or ask for a refund so I cannot comment on their customer service or on airline reservations, but I know I will use them again for a hotel room.

Good rate but didn't like that the rate did not include the unavoidable resort fee, so it is difficult to compare the rate with other sources. But maybe that is travel up's objective.
