I booked for a three day stay, unfortunately two hours later had to cancel, I was charged $148.00 for a cancelation fee the terms and agreement of cancellations doesn't appear until after you confirm reservation. We tried to explain but couldn't get a refund. My advice don't book with this site unless you are absolutely, unequivocally, will not need to cancel for any reason!
You should be able to add trip insurance. Had I realized I could not, I would NOT have used your service as it only saved a few dollars and not worth the hassle of not having trip insurance in this day and age.

I don't know where all the 5 star reviews are coming from but these guys would not refund my flights which had to be cancelled due to covid. Had to get money back through my credit card in the end. Avoid like the plague

Last year I bought two tickets for my husband and me from Google flight that ended up with Travel up $644.87.
We wanted to go to LA from Vancouver. The Delta Corona rate went up and we as seniors afraid to travel, so we asked to cancel (one time free). Travel up provided us with a credit Vouchers for one year. A month later we decided to go. We tried many times to rebook our flight and use the credit Voucher, but the site didn't allow it. Emailed Travel up they responded it has to rebook throughout us. Then they asked £75 for each of us which converted to CAN $300 we had to pay extra on top of the tickets. I paid by my pocket $528 for both of us and went to LA.
On July 24th I emailed Travel up to rebook flights and using the credit Vouchers(before one year). They responded that you have to use it only up to Aug. 15th 2022. Over 10 emails I did request, beg them with this economy as seniors please expend the validity but Daniel Gareth Travel Consultant has no heart. And said NO we can't. I am not happy and not satisfy with Travel up that not understanding the Corona time was not safe for seniors to travel. :(( (

I booked through this agency for a trip to Nashville. The hotel had its own issues and ended up refunding me the night's stay. That is to say, they refunded Travel Up. It is now 2 months later and Travel Up has not and refuses to send me the money owed to me. They've pocketed the cash and continue to string me along via email. At first they told me that I needed written authorization from the hotel manager - which is insane but fine. I got that. Now they keep repeating that they need the money back from their "supplier" before they can refund me. That's not my problem. Send the customer back their money and work out the issue with your "supplier" on your own time.
Much expensive, then others! No breakfast included in high price, no parking included!

I search for and located a flight using google, and an option came up that fit my search. I booked the flight but did not know that I was booking through an agent and not Air Transat. I paid for my flight and expected to get the options for seat selection and luggage. I immediately called the number provided and waited 48 minutes to talk to someone who provided an unsatisfactory response. I was then transferred to admin where I was advised that a cancellation fee of $65.00 would be payable if I cancelled the flight despite the fact the ticket has not been issued. I placed my call within 5 minutes of booking the flight, sat on hold and got this response within 1 hour. This is an unfair policy. The cost to me of booking luggage and seat selection is higher booking through Travel Up than if I had gone directly through Air Transat, not to mention the frustration and waste of time making the phone call.

I bought 3 tickets, same day I sent a question about the names on the tickets, they assumed our names were wrong and 1 week later they cancelled my booking. Names are correct.
Communication is a nightmare, the person who cancelled my booking didn't answer the phone, only sent emails bad writing and with short sentences. Her name is Michelle Vincent.
I am trying to talk with her supervisor or any office to handle the case and it is impossible. They hang up the call.
She cancelled my booking and now I have to pay the penalty. I didn't ask her to cancel the booking, she took the decision by herself. TravelUp must to take the responsibility and give me back all my money.

Flight has been cancelled and they never managed to rebook us despite trying to do that for several weeks. They just pass you on to talk to some people by email with english names such as Eddie Cooper or James Smith, which respond in a computer like manner without helping you solve any issue no matter how small they are, such as rebooking a flight. This is a real pity that we are sorrounded by those dishonest companies. My flight is not even present on the app, and despite hours (see picture) over the phone, nothing has been solved. They ruined our holidays. (As you can see from the photo, being on a call at 1:00 am for two hours is not exactly the best holiday).

I booked a flight with British Airways to AVOID American Airlines who regularly cancels flights. The initial confirmation showed us booked with BA only to find out the next day we were on an AA flight and had been charged already. The proper thing to do would have been to warn the traveler up front. I am a regular international traveler and will avoid TravelUP and recommend that other not use your platform.
