Earlier this year I had plans to travel Italy/France/Amsterdam and I had purchased 10 flights through various travel agency websites and also directly with the airline in February (all non-refundable tickets). Travel Merry was THE ONLY agency that rejected my refund due to coronavirus travel. I was provided an option for a refund as my flight was cancelled and then changed AND they still rejected my refund request. I followed up with them several times and they finally said contact the airline directly. I did; they immediately provided me a refund request and are currently processing. No questions asked. If I were to do it again, I'd honestly be willing to pay more to deal with a reputable travel agency should something occur. Stay away and safe travels.

My flight was cancelled and they told me to call them immediately, I did and no one was able to find information about the flight or give me options. I had to call 3 times till then someone checked online and saw the flight is cancelled by the airline. When you call them there is always background noise and sound is very bad, is very difficult to understand them by phone and they don't reply emails. Once confirmed my flight was cancelled they told me it was the airline cancelling all flights to that city because of COVID and they asked me to wait for 24h to let them find other options. After 24h nobody calls, so you have to call again, several times because nobody there knows how to find information, so after 48h I talked with someone that told me they didn't have options so the best was to ask for a refund (and a pay $100 fee for the service, which doesn't exist!). I asked then the refund, it has been 1 week since I asked to process the refund and they haven't even confirmed this yet. So still, calling them almost every day till someone confirms I am getting a refund.
Absolutely atrocious customer service. Overcharged me for a ticket change by inventing a bogus "fare and tax difference" charge from the airline, but when they billed me they failed to itemize the charges. After 5 months of repeatedly asking by phone and email for an itemized bill, and them repeatedly promising they would provide it to me within 24-48 hours, they finally flat out refused to do so and at that point it became clear that the charge was a complete invention on their part. Indeed, the airline website shows no indication that any additional money was paid to it by TravelMerry.
Moreover, it is almost impossible to get connected to anybody with any level of intelligence there, and the communication is terrible. The entire company works out of India. Difficult to understand them, and phone calls are choppy. They will repeatedly promise to respond within 24 hours, and then they never do. Each time one calls one has to explain everything all over again. Even their "senior staff" are inept... no better than their regular staff. They have an "escalations" department but it's just as inept as their regular customer service line.
Avoid this company like the plague. When things go well with your reservation, it's fine. But as soon as there is the slightest complication, TravelMerry will use it as an opportunity to extract more money from you.
I purchased tickets in Feb 2020 to fly to Switzerland to ski. Lufthansa canceled the flight. I've been tryin to get a refund from Travel Merry since Mar. 2020, five months ago. Still getting double talk. The Atlanta BBB was no help. AVOID TRAVEL MWRRY AT ALL COSTS!
They not deserving to give a 1 star I call them they say I'm flight is cancel due to covid so the airlines cancel so I tell them I want my refund instead and they ask me to pay a fee 100 per person why I need to pay a fee if the airline is the one to cancel. Until now I keep email them my refund. So people before you purchase your ticket read some reviews first to this people. They give you hell of reason don't waste your money is not worth it. I never ever make a business to them.

Do not, I repeat, do not under any circumstances book a flight with them. Not only do they advertise wrong prices, they also don't refund even though the airlines do due to Covid-19. When you talk to customer service you get the feeling they are just playing with you and making fun of you. If I knew how to sue and shut down that company I would do it immediately.
Please, everyone that got scammed and had/has issues go to "https://airconsumer.dot.gov/escomplaint/ConsumerForm.cfm" and file a complaint. Far too many people have been scammed and they need to be shut down asap!
My flight canceled and the airline issued a full refund to the agency but the agency didn't issue full rend. Very unprofessional customer service. Bad experience. I do not use this agency even their price might look good.
Coronavirus cancelation. Agent has horrible english. Polish airlines canceled flights. This company refused to return full amount and charged me $150.00 for cancelling, yesturday. Today - $100.00. Horrible company. Dishonest. Get out of business!
Not even worth one star! Do not purchase tickets from this travel company at all. My problems first started off with the company advertising flight information that was wrong. After I purchased my tickets and the confirmation was sent to me- I had an extra layover that was not in the original flight plan. I called to inquire about it and they told me they did not have to list that layover since it was considered a "technical layover". I have never in my life heard of that before.
Secondly, during these unprecedented times with Covid-19 they have not been helpful at all. They are charging absurd fees and giving me the run around for trying to get a full refund on my tickets. I've had to call the airline myself multiple times to get questions answered.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
SingaporeAir website says they will allow changes due to the virus and give people a credit for later flight. But if you went thru a agency you have to go through the agency.
Travel Merry will not allow this. I asked to talk to a manager but the person on the phone refused to allow me to talk to a manager.
He said hey will only help if the flight gets canceled in spite of what the airline is willing to do

Okay, well, the wife and I purchased round trip tickets from TravelMerry, LAX-BKK-LAX (with connections inbound and outbound in HKG). The carrier was Cathay Pacific. While in BKK the Corona Virus hit mainland China with a vengeance. Also affected was Hong Kong. Unfortunately, as we got closer to our departure date the situation worsened and it didn't seem prudent to board an aluminum tube in Hong Kong with 300 Chinese passengers of unknown origins for a 15-hour flight to LAX.
The next call was to Cathay Pacific who, it turns out, was offering full refunds, but only if purchased from the carrier. All others were directed to call the travel agency that sold the original ticket.
TravelMerry was next on the list. We requested a refund, and I'm serious here, the "Customer DIService" agent actually laughed at us. We explained Cathay Pacific had specifically told us to contact them for a refund. Another laugh. The "Indian" gentleman (ahem-sarc) immediately told us to contact... wait for it... Cathay Pacific for a refund. He then promptly HUNG UP! I would add, we were nothing other than polite and considerate. Not so much from TM.
We ended up purchasing one-way tickets on Korean through Seoul/Incheon, then direct to LAX. A bit pricey at the last minute, but the only way to really mitigate the possible exposure risk. Suffice to say, it was worth it.
After arriving back in the USA, we made yet another attempt with "TravelMerry" and were now told that since we were already back in the USA the ticket was forfeit. Another "go suck lemons" response. The forfeit notion was/is absolutely not true.
The Thais have an axiom and it goes like this: if you're walking along the road and come across a cobra and an Indian, kill the Indian first... he's more dangerous. Long and short? Stay far, far, far away from Travel Hairy Kerry. The "five stars" are all from paid trolls and do not accurately reflect the true nature of the "business". We will be contacting Cathay about blacklisting these scammers as it does, in some ways, ultimately reflect on the carrier. Stay away! As a final thought, I'd rather lick door knobs in China than deal with these criminals. Caveat emptor!
When I originally booked this flight it was on my credit card for two people. My friend had to cancel and I braved up to attempt my first solo trip as a woman. Flight itinerary changed a couple times leading up to it... which was odd but not far off from the original so whatever. As I attempted to fly home from Barcelona to the US they cancelled MY flight instead of my friend that didn't go. I called for 13 hours, hung up on EVERY TIME. Crying in the airport stranded 5,000 miles away from home. Called over and over crying my eyes out asking for help. "Sorry ma'am, not our problem. *click*" finally United realized it was absolutely their error and I was able to get a flight home after the WORST DAY EVER. This company is complete garbage
This company is the biggest fraud. They advertise the the airline tickets cheaper than any other companies and after you book they change your tickets layover to match their price without notifying you. Their customer service are not polite they are rude and they told me "this is normal all people complain" why should anyone complain if you didn't have a problem. This company shall change its management and be honest with their client.
This $#*! not company, the costumer service is $#*!... I bought this ticket and after 5days they calling me and tell the price ticket is up... WTF is going on with this company, why they still working, they must be closed right away and never reopen to scam the people... MY opinion don't buy never in your life ticket with this $#*!y company
So you think you got your itinerary( you think you can have a sigh of relief- but no). So then they email you stating that you should call back. Then they say that they are still in the process of looking for alternative itinerary. What kind of service is this. They should be held accountable that once you got the itinerary on the website- they should book it RIGHT AWAY no excuses!
What a scam! I purchased a ticket and got a confirmation. However apparently it didnt go through because the "airlines" increased the price that very second or something. If I hadn't checked beforehand I would've gone to the airport without a ticket and a false confirmation. Calling them was useless. They offered me other ticket for twice the price.
THIS IS FAKE TRAVEL AGENCY! BEWARE- DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! I used Kayak to book a flight, and it went to Travel Merry. How sad from there! I put in my credit card info and thought I had booked a great trip. Got an email that the reservation wasn't confirmed yet. Many hours later I called and got customer service somewhere far far away in another country. They could barely speak English, and said they couldn't confirm with the airline, but wanted to offer different flights and dates! How obnoxious! How disappointing! I've heard of these fake companies offering false fares and taking your money. They said they didn't charge the credit card, but now I have to watch that card for scam charges after reading endless bad reviews. It's amazing these companies exist that completely scam customers! Shut them down!
