Hello, my flight was cancelled from the airline, and the money weren´t returned yet. The tickets were bought 13.3 and 15. 3. 2022 and at the 31. 3. 2022 we got anaucement from the airlines that out flight is cancelled.

Charged more than quoted

I booked a flight on 28th Sep, 2022 which was quoted for 243,000 INR. The actual payment made to the card was of 253,000 INR, which was 5,000 more than what it would have costed if I had booked with the airline directly. They have hidden charges/fees that you will only get to know after you make the payment. Don't be deceived by the initially offered low fares.

I have been trying to get my ticket changed since January 2022 for a flight that just passed in September. I have had customer service agents hang up on me because I have asked them to call the airlines on my behalf to change my tickets and they refuse to do that and change my ticket, as well they are saying it is the airline's responsibility. I have had agents say that they will change it and then the customer service rep says no that they can not change it and they to direct me to the airlines. This company knows that if customers purchase airline tickets through them that is their obligation to change tickets that airlines will not work with any customer that books tickets through a 2nd party.

This has definitely been the worst experience I have ever had, the WORST customer service, and the worst company, and honestly needs to be put out of business because they just take people's money.

Travel2be are professional scammers
August 17, 2022

First when I ordered my tickets they showed a total which was much lower than ordering direct from the airline. After 2 weeks they sent me the tickets only $500 more than the original price. I emailed them about it and only after I involved kayak they responded with excuses that do not explain the overcharge. I disputed the difference and due to the dispute mid vacation 24 hours before my flight back home they cancelled my reservation!
They are expert scammers and they have different names to their company in order to scam more people.
Highly advise to stay far away from travel2be, travelgenio, or any of the other names they go by.

Big mistake
August 6, 2022

I brought my international flight for my holiday only to realise when I got my eticket I have no baggage allowance. Feels like a scam as nothing was said in main print. They were about the same price of other tickets to, gota say only use reputable sellers :(

We booked the ticket online for my boyfriend through online using Travel2Be we are so stressed regarding this matter after paying we didn't receive my boyfriend's ticket we're just worried why they are not sending the ticket after the payment this is the first time happened to my purchasing ticket online I usually booked online but after the payment you can receive the ticket already but here you're doubting is my money vanished into thin air pls make your service good. People are trusting you with their hard earned money. So give us assurance with this ticket thingy.

I was left alone with the problem despite paying and booking the ticket 7 weeks in advance. I bought ticket round trip form Warsw to Los Angeles with one stop in London. Reservation code: RCZEP2; GX42QD via Travel2be.
In first days of June. 2022 when I logg on website I so note that flight was cancelled. One leg of return flight LHR-WAW was canceled. No info by mail form Travel2be about this. Only information in British Airways website.
From the beginning of June many times I was mailing / contacting customer service by phone travel agency and British Airways regarding upgrade of flight. Almost 4 weeks of calling.
I didn't get any proposal from Tavel2be about:
- alternative flight,
- replacement flight to get into destination,
- available alternative flights,
- info about refound for the unused portion (cancelled) of the flight,
- other possible connections to get into destination.
I spent many hours calling customer service and nobody made me offer for my problem.
Day before flight I got info from travel agency about possibility to change for date 11.07.2022 but with the proviso that the airline has made a change to my flight and unfortunately the alternative offered on phone is no more available. So I knew that if I change the date, the entire ticket will be validated even for that part of the flight that was still available: LAX-LHR.
The only info what I got on mail was: Please remember that, because this is a change made unilaterally by the airline, in some cases the airline may authorise a full refund on tickets if the alternative offered does not meet your needs.
Till today no info about return money for unused portion of the flight.
This is not true what Travel2be send that I should contact directly to British Airways - they said that owner of my ticket is travel agency and they should give back mony for unsed portion of the flight….
To whom I should contact? – as customer service does not answer…………

I booked a ticket last June 2020 and up to now I have not received any information from travel2be. I already called the airline and they said they have not filed for refund. I wonder how I will get my refund amounting to 1000 USD.

I wanted to cancel my flight and book it with a legitimate airline. I found out there is a 50 dollar cancellation fee even if I bought my ticket 15 minutes ago! SO I decided to not undo my cancellation request. I talked to two people on the phone to undo the request and they both told me that they were able to undo it and that there was no pending request! Then I get an email that my booking is cancelled and they charged me 50 dollars! Even when two representatives assured me that they wouldn't! Horrible horrible service! Disgusting company

When you purchase the ticket, your money is gone. They do not send you anything.

If you try calling, the operator will tell you that the wait time is 30 minutes. If you are patient and wait that long, they will automatically disconnect the line. If you try to email them, they won't answer, of course.

Also, it is very important to note, they don't put their contact details on the website, you will have to search online for it.

If they actually reach out at some point, i will update this review.

Update: i called early and got my ticket in around 15 minutes.

Scammers run run

Hello,

You canceled my reservation. You authorized my card on June 1st, but you did not settle the transaction.

You seem to use this trick every time you can't secure the tickets at the promised price, I've seen the forums, I am not the first person who is told that his payment method did not go through.

You did not send the payment email you promised, and you canceled the ticket less than 10 hours after promising to send a "payment" email (which you didn't send).

I usually get a notification when a transaction is declined because my card limit was exceeded. I did not receive that.

You canceled the ticket the same day you decided to reply to my requests. I've also wasted money calling a paid number that you don't answer.

It took you 8 days to discover that you can't hold your end of the deal.

On the positive side, I am no longer bound to your service. I can only imagine the pain I would have gone through if I had to make any change to my reservation.

I wish that, one day, proper laws would hold you accountable. You definitely shouldn't be operating in the EU.

I don't know how your employees can tolerate this behavior, how they don't rat you out or they don't walk out on you. After all, they are frontline witnesses.

Never, ever again.

*** WATCH OUT ***

I booked my son a ticket 3 months from the UK to Las Vegas and as there was an issue in the UK and my son could not board the flight (Virgin Atlantic who the flight was through) so my son was told to contact the company where we purchased the ticket from, so over 7 hours later, 3rd person has put me on hold and the answer is let me see what I can do, I feel like they don't really care, they got your money.
Currently on the phone with someone called Leticia (if that's her real name) very rude woman, refuses to put me through to her supervisor and says that Virgin has to make the change, I tried to tell her a number of time that Virgin says it is not their responsibility because the ticket was purchased through travel2be, travel2be has to make the change, after arguing with me over the phone tells me that someone will contact me in a few minutes, Lets see if someone calls. (time now 2.08pm) so time now is 2.54pm and no one has called me back *** DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND BOOK ELSEWHERE ***

I want to tell about a horrible experience I had with a Travel2Be agency. They do not answer emails, when you call them, you have to wait two hours on the line until they answer you, hey promise to send tickets and do not send. And even when an airline cancels tickets and airlines suggest new flight for free, they charge a lot money when it should be free!

This is the worst experience I've never had with any service/goods seller ever. I took me 2year to get back my refund for a flight ticket I bought from this "Pseudo-agency". First they were pushing me to get a voucher (which is against the law), then they turned quiet more than a year (in the meantime they have changed their customer service email address), then after that they kept saying for months that the Airline must give them authorization before they can refund me. Which doesn't make any sense as I bought the ticket from their website and not from the Airline. And the flight was canceled because of COVID restrictionson May 2020!. So it's all about pushing people to give up but thankfuly I didn't. Run away from this scam even if you have to pay +200£ more
