I have bought from TN Nursery for more than 20 years when I lived in AL and now FL. It took a bit to learn how to plant bare root stock. For me, the secret is to pot the plants for a month before putting in the ground. They are easier to water and care for until they get acclimated. This past season was a challenge with extreme cold temperatures in FL, as well as severe lack of rain for 6 months that is still on us. I have not lost a plant this year. Looking forward to beautiful gardens in the future with trees, shrubs and plants from Tn Nursery!

Ordering process is frustrating. I thought I added Virginia Creeper@ 5.99/plant (there were no other options) to my cart. The price in the cart was $8.39/plant. Virtual assistant was not precise enough in its answers - saying the $8.39 "probably" indicated it was a larger size than the one shown on the product page. When the Plant Protection didn't show up as a separate line item, I did the math & figured it had already been added to the price/plant. AI should have caught that & saved me the extra work.

I ordered 2 trees, aspens, I was sent 3. One seemed to be a dud. But out of nowhere it took off, new shoot from the root ball, pretty much caught of to the other two. Unfortunately, one gott plagued with aphids and I took to long to treat it. Seems dead all dried out. The other two are starting to bud.

My gf and I visited your Nursery last Friday and a lovely young woman helped us after hours and went above and beyond for our sugar maples and pecans. She said her mother in law owns the nursery and she lives close by but She stayed late and made the experience great. My trumpet vine plants have budded out and look ing good. The Dogwood trees have not shown signs of life. All the other trees have budded in my area. I will still hold out hope the make it.

Ordered 6 trees and 4 of them survived. All planted at the same time and treated exactly according to their instructions. When filed for replacements they wanted blood of my firstborn plus as many obstacles as possible to prevent having to replace them. Just be aware that this company does NOT stand behind their replacement policy.

We do want to clarify that we absolutely stand behind our replacement policy. If the extended warranty was purchased at checkout, we do honor replacements within the terms of that warranty. The simple requirements we ask for—such as photos and basic details—are only to verify the issue so we can process claims fairly and prevent misuse.
If the extended warranty was not selected at the time of purchase, then replacements are not automatically included, which is also clearly stated during checkout.
We always aim to be fair and transparent, and we’re happy to help any customer through the process.
Plants usually arrive in good condition. While they don't stand behind their plant guarantee the plants are shipped on time.

Ordered white pines in late summer. Arrived here after ground was frozen. Lost all of them

We’re sorry to hear that happened.
We do want to clarify that if the delivery timing was going to be an issue due to frozen ground, all you had to do was call us and we could have adjusted the shipping date. We routinely move shipments forward or back to accommodate weather conditions and planting readiness.
White pines are shipped according to dormancy schedules, but planting into frozen ground will unfortunately prevent proper root establishment. That’s not a product defect — it’s a timing issue.
If customers know the ground is frozen or they will not be able to plant immediately, contacting us before shipment allows us to hold or reschedule. We are always willing to work with customers on timing.
