Very dependable

2 trees for the price of one. Only wish shipping didn't cost so much, but dormant trees were well-packed. Be sure and check for the second tree in box! I overlooked it at first.

No results yet
May 4, 2026

Bought a couple trumpet vines last year and planted them. No results from them yet, so hoping the four I'm buying now will have better luck

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your order and for giving us another try—we truly appreciate it.

Trumpet vines can be slow to establish at first, especially from bareroot stock. It’s not uncommon for them to spend the first season focusing on root development, with little to no visible growth, and then take off the following season once established.

We are a family-run nursery, and we want you to have success. With proper conditions, they can grow very aggressively once they get going.

If you’d like any tips, feel free to reach out to [email protected].

Thank you. 🌱

Excellent Customer Service
May 3, 2026

I was notified there would be a delay in shipping due to dry weather conditions, and when the moss arrived I called in with freeze concerns. They guided me through exactly what to do. Great experience with communication :)

Price and native plants
May 3, 2026

When ordering early (ship now) I did not realize plants still have to be dug and then shipped. That was not a problem just mistake on my part. All in all very satisfied with my order and why I am placing a second order.

Great tree, prompt shipping

I purchased a fast growing American Sycamore tree to replace a dying flowering plumb tree. These fast growing trees will give me shade and privacy in a few short years.

First time customer
May 1, 2026

Unfortunately bad experience. Placed my order March 3. Customer service sd they'd ship first week of April. Started calling weekly in April. Various excuses every week as to why they'd be unable to deliver. Not at any time did they proactively start communications. So I called today they sd it would arrive next week. I told them I wanted a credit and cancellation. They sd NO without charging me a 15% fee ($22). This is a very poorly run company with no focus on the customer. I expect when/if it arrives next week the condition of these plants will be bad.

Hi,

We’re sorry for the frustration and understand your concern.

Our plants are field-grown and dug fresh, so we follow seasonal digging schedules rather than pulling from pre-dug inventory. Our website outlines a 10–12 business day processing time, but during peak season and weather delays, timelines can extend as we wait for proper digging conditions to protect plant health.

Regarding cancellations, once an order has entered the digging and fulfillment process, there are real costs involved, which is why a cancellation fee may apply. This policy is disclosed and agreed to at checkout.

We do apologize if communication did not meet expectations—we are currently very swamped during spring rush, and that has impacted response times.

We are a family-run nursery, and reviews like this do impact us. We truly want the opportunity to help.

All plants arrive as promised and the only time one failed it was my fault - took too long to get in the dirt. All others are doing great and taking off nicely. Many thanks.

I love the plants that come from Tn. Nursery Everyone has grown and bloomed. They are bare roots which I believe is the best way to buy. Their shipping is great and if they feel they can't ship them due to the time of the year they won't but let you know. Been a repeat customer for about 2 years now.

Hi Alison,

Thank you for your feedback and for being a returning customer—we truly appreciate your support.

Our website does state a 10–12 business day processing time, and during our spring rush, we are currently running about 10 business days behind as we dig plants fresh and fulfill orders in sequence. This can extend total delivery time, especially when combined with carrier transit.

We are a family-run nursery, and reviews like this do impact us. We’re working hard to get orders out as quickly as possible while maintaining quality.

Thank you again for your continued support—we truly appreciate you. 🌱

Robin, thank you for your feedback and for your continued support. We’re glad to hear your other experiences have been positive.

We’re sorry to hear about the trees from your January order. Trees shipped in winter are bare root and dormant, and sometimes they can be slow to break dormancy depending on climate and conditions. That said, we understand your concern.

We are a family-run nursery, and reviews like this truly do hurt our small business. We appreciate your business and want to help make this right.

Tom, thank you for giving us another chance—we truly appreciate that.

We’re sorry to hear about your previous experience. Pawpaw trees are bare root and dormant, and they can be slow to establish and leaf out, sometimes taking longer than expected depending on soil temperature, moisture, and location. That said, we understand your frustration if they did not come back.

We are a family-run nursery, and feedback like this truly does impact us. We want you to have a better outcome this time.

Please email us at [email protected]
with your order details and we will be happy to assist you and keep an eye on your order.
