I love to work with this nursery, my previous shipment of Mulberry tree came quick and on time and start having leaves, but as soon as I put them down into my garden, it went dry and dead. I paid $90 but still didn't come to live. I have to buy again this time, but I'm still happy to order more trees from them.
I ordered 2 white 2-3' mulberry trees and 2 red 2-3' mulberry trees they arrived within 7 days and were alive and healthy. We even got 3-4 smaller white mulberries thrown in! I'm looking forward to watching them grow.
Trees were great. Healthy and well wrapped for shipping. My only difficulty was having them shipped as I needed to provide a signature for the amount I ordered. UPS said the seller required a signature for delivery. The nursery told me to contact UPS and maybe they would waive the signature requirement. I was trying to get a drop-off without a signature as I was having a pet emergency. I explained this to the nursery and she didn't offer a solution other than to call UPS. Whose policy is it? If I would not have been home for this, I would have received a failure to deliver notice. If this happens twice, the product is returned to the seller, unless I drive 40 minutes to the UPS warehouse. Not ideal for perishable bare-root plants. I was trying to waive the signature and accept all responsibility but when I called and explained what was going on, there wasn't any way of doing this. UPS said one thing, TN Nursery said something different. In the end, it worked out. However, it will likely lead me to order less in the future to stay under the dollar amount threshold to avoid a drop-off signature. I wish there was a straightforward way of waiving this requirement, as the product TN Nursery sent was high quality bare-root plants. I think they have top-notch plants. I would absolutely give them 5 stars if it were not for the delivery hassle I experienced. I'm not sure where the breakdown happened to this day. I do know that I called both the nursery and UPS and couldn't get a satisfactory solution. I am not sure why UPS and TN Nursery can't streamline the delivery. Amazon takes a picture of the product on your stoop for delivery, why can't this be standard practice for other carriers. If you're neighbors steal bare-root trees from your house, the nursery can't be blamed and a picture of successful delivery would be the proof.
Building a replacement garden is really a big purchase and requires alot of research. Southeastern Texas has had some really hot and dry weather the past couple of seasons. The bogo is extremely helpful. I have used Tennessee Nursery before. I look forward to these healthy additions to my garden to support the butterflies, bees and birds who have also suffered from the weathet.
When my wisteria came i was surprised how nice they were. Large plants and very well packed. They stayed healthy until they started growing.
It was a few years ago and some of the order did not live. Obviously, it did not turn me against ordering from you, because I just did so.plants did not thrive
I ordered 1 elderberry and thought I had missed out on the BOGO, but no! When the box arrived, I brought it in & had a bucket of water ready... I was absolutely floored to find THREE plants in there instead of one! They are in the ground & doing VERY well now, in my front yard.
Second order, I bought 2 chicory plants on BOGO. Did I receive 4 plants? Nope. You folks sent me more than TWELVE little started roots! Those are now leafing out in my garden, where the goats can't get to them. They will be a welcome treat for them soon...
Today, I have ordered 2 Red Flame peach trees and 2 red mulberry trees, and I can only imagine how pleased I'm going to be to receive these!
I'm figuring on working you folks into the monthly budget, LOLZ!
I had to call them to place my order because I had questions. I spoke with a very nice lady who was a great help. Also was updated on shipping every step of the way and delivered on time! Great Prices too!
I received excellent service. The fig trees that arrived were amazing, healthy, full of tiny buds. Lovely straight trunks. Each have grown 12-14 leaves already.
Thank you so much!
Plants came on time. Most had leaves starting to open. I actually received some extra bushes. I potted all of them to give them time to recover from shipping trauma, and will put them in the ground in late summer.
Thank you so much!
Trees arived in time frame as stated, very healthy looking plants, i honestly expect everyone of them to make great trees. I did purchase the 1 year warrenty but as good as they look i do not think i needed it. But better safer than sorry. Also this is the best price on chestnut trees i have found period, honestly the best looking. I was nervouse buying trees and not able to see them first
Thank you so much!
I just now placed order so everything is as it should be.
I hope
I found and ordered winterberry a few years ago, plants arrived quickly, planting instructions were easy, and they come with a year warranty.
Thank you so much!
I purchased 25 three ft tall mullberry trees that were dormant. All were planted and bloomed out perfectly. Beautiful trees, i planted them to replace 25 out of 187 six year old citrus trees that died last year when a 4 day blizzard/ snow killed them. Mullberries would have lived through this. Thank you for the trees.
Thank you so much!
The elderberry cutting where shipped out quickly after the purchase. I began rooting the cuttings in a potting soil mix that had ingredients to retain and disperse water evenly throughout the soil. Cutting were rooted for 6 weeks, and soil remained healthy conditions throughout the whole time. When I went to transplant those into the ground only half of the cuttings developed roots, and of course these were typically the smaller diameter cuttings. I placed the unrooted cutting back into the soil and am in the process of waiting on those to develop roots.
Thank you so much!
Pleased with the quality of the moss and the quantity received.
Thank you so much!
I had been looking to find fruiting trees. I'm glad I saw your ad. My trees are young but hope get mulberries from them soon!
Thank you so much!
Ordered a Southern Magnolia.
Arrived in what appears to be dehydrated state.
Soaked it in water for 2 hours as directed and planted it.
Doesn't look promising, but I'll see if it lives.
Thank you so much!
The plants came in with everything identified. The roots on all the plants look really good and strong. So glad I ordered from you guys! I have ordered rooted plants before from other places and they were nowhere near as big. I hope the blooms are as good as the plants look!
Best wishes!
Denise
Thank you so much!
I purchased raspberry plants, apple and peach trees. They arrived carefully packaged and healthy. The black raspberry is nearly impossible to find, they carried it. Highly recomend them
Thank you so much!
Black Raspberries are difficult, i was not only to find the plants, but a local supplier as well, a definite win, win
Bare root walnut $4 price was ten times what I pay for VA DoF, but TN product was worth the cost. Seedlings were at least a year old, roots and seedlings were trimmed. Roots were firm enough that in some places I could poke the trees directly into wet soil like stakes. The product arrived with labor already invested into preparation--will buy from both VA and TN again. VA cost pennies, but under $5, TN product saved me hours over bare root seedlings that I have to treat with kid gloves and trim;
I wish TN had cuttings (live stakes) of muscadine and grape; though. Thirty dollars is okay for suburbanite buying one potted plant. I need hundreds, so I need cuttings. Ditto American holly.
Have a nice day, everyone.
Thank you so much!
