Although I understand that Thrive tries to be less wasteful and more sustainable, we will no longer be ordering certain things through them due to the fact that they always arrive broken in pieces. When we buy the same products in store, they are never like this, so I can only assume it is because of the way that Thrive packages the goods with absolutely no padding. This is frustrating for us considering the snacks are for our toddler.

I absolutely love the majority of products I've tried. It's frustrating to order and right after there's a sale on the same items! Being out of things is also frustrating, because I want to group items when possible to avoid the shipping charge. There was a recent mistake for which they issued a "gift card code". I did a new order and tried to put the code in, but it wouldn't take the code Thrive gave me. The chat, when I finally got to talk to a live person, assured me the amount would be pre-applied so that when I completed the order it would be applied. IT WASN'T. More chatting, more assurances it would be applied. IT WASN'T. I'm done with THRIVE MARKET. It's disappointing, but I've tried and am more than done. I've cancelled my subscription as of now. Never did get my refund.

I try to buy mostly organic foods and by subscribing and buying multiples of same products i save money too. It is a good way to stock up on dry goods for emergency!

My last frozen order had thawed and been refrozen. I had to throw away some items as I was afraid to eat them. Thrive responded to my concern immediately and credited me for those items.

I keep trying different products hoping to find ones that are of good value, but I've yet to find anything that I love. I joined hoping to find foods that were cleaner and eliminated unnecessary ingredients, but the majority of the foods are tailored to those with food allergies and who are vegetarian/vegan. Most products are not cheaper than the grocery store either.

Thrive has helped me pick healthy options for my family. We have a low carb and dairy free diet and the selection is wonderful.
Cancellation nearly impossible. Had to repeat myself 8 times. Items are cheaper at my local grocery store (I've even gotten some identical products at Aldi for half the price)

Thrive market is the BEST source of organic and healthy foods for my family, especially my granddaughter! She loves the toddler treats!
While I appreciate the convenience and curated product selection, I've encountered several issues that have made it difficult to justify continuing my membership. Most notably, many of the items I want are often out of stock when it's time to place my order, even if they were previously in my cart. This has happened repeatedly and undercuts the whole value proposition. More concerning, however, was a recent order where I received a single jar of mayo—nothing else, and was charged $15 for shipping. This felt excessive and left me wondering how this type of fulfillment decision made it past quality control. Combined with pricing that is often comparable to or higher than my local grocery store or direct retailers, the overall experience has been disappointing.

I got a free one year membership so I decided to try it ou. T After the initial set up (forces you to answer multiple questions to get into the store), it apparently put a bunch of recommended items in my cart that I did not choose. The worst part is that I got an email that my items were going to ship if I didn't edit my cart. I didn't choose any of these items and had I not paid close attention, they would've shipped everything and charged me. Slimy practice. I deleted everything and then went back in today to browse and had to answer all the same questions again before I could look at anything. Sure enough, it added a bunch of items to my cart. Then, after adding some of my own items, I realized that some items showed a quantity of 2, and you could only get them if you added 2 or more to your cart. I won't be renewing after this. The website is a pain, I don't want to spend time answering a bunch of questions and then going in and deleting things I don't want from my cart. Just let me shop!

I was optimistic at first, but I have slowly gained confidence with ordering products through Thrive.
I really love the idea of a healthy market with better products and ingredients. That being said, I do not like the format of having to pay for a membership. Walmart offers a very similar product with many similar groceries for free. Even with purchasing the membership on discount, it feels unnecessary. I also do not the format on the website of everything being "on sale" and "marked down". It feels like everything was just marked up and then "discounted" to make people feel good about their purchase. Many of these same items I can find for the same price or cheaper at other stores.

I recently received an order where one of the items I ordered arrived open inside of the box (popped along the seam and I did not use a razor to cut open box). I reached out to the chat function where they issued me a refund for the item however I was going to still be left to pay shipping if I reordered the item myself. I then was chatting with a live agent explaining the situation and that the item I ordered was needed this week for a breakfast event I was hosting. The live agent never once apologized for the problem with my item, stated that they issue refunds when there are issues and don't ship single items because they are an eco-friendly company to which I responded unfortunately it wouldn't be eco-friendly since the item arrived unusable and had to be thrown away. After several minutes of her checking what she could do for me she gave me a free shipping code. Despite asking for them to reship the item to me I had to then go order the item myself use two different coupon codes to get the order covered and now I'll wait the arrival of my item to see if it comes in time. I was dissatisfied with this customer service experience and is likely changing my philosophy on utilizing Thrive going forward.

The website is designed to force you to upgrade. Once you click on website you don't have the possibility to review website without joining first off. I will be canceling but after paying 13 dollars just to see if it was worth it. I was interested until I released i had two boxes since I selected frozen food and pantry. There is two separate charges and I had to meet the minimum ordering for each to get free shopping. You are not saving any money in the long run if you have to pay a mo they free and shipping.

Answer: Membership is $75 annually but it is less for families who qualify and they donate membership for those in extreme need. I don't know what that limit is. Just the fact they do this is amazing.
