I had to cancel my reservation due to getting COVID. I requested to change reservation to a future date. After 3 days they declined saying they couldn't reach the hotel. I reached hotel easily. They are a scam company with horrible customer service. Who would believe that you can't reach a hotel?

I notice seconds after I booked a hotel that the dates were incorrect. It look me ten minutes to get someone on the phone only to learn that they would not correct it. So I spent money on a hotel stay I could not use. I could not get them to stop texting me and had to block the number. They are mostly bot driven. And the customer service and price are not better than other sites. I will not use them again.

They charge a lot more than they said. Price of the hotel was $119 and i had to pay $180 at the end.

I booked a flight with Snap Travel. The confirmation code is ST*******. The airline canceled the flight. It happens. I called the airline to discuss. The airline said they would happily reimburse me or get me on another flight ASAP but couldn't because everything was booked through Snap Travel. That was when this NIGHTMARE began. I contacted both Snap Travel and Booking Vault. (It appears these two companies work together to scam people and steal large sums of money from them). It took Snap Travel/Booking Vault FOREVER to get back to me. Meanwhile, the date I was supposed to fly home came and went. Finally, Snap Travel/Booking Vault got back to me with an alternative flight that LEFT ONLY A FEW HOURS AFTER THEY EMAILED ME. I obviously couldn't take that flight because I wouldn't have made it to the airport in time. I contacted them and told them this. But I got no response. (They don't reply to emails and the phones are always busy). So, I was stuck in Europe with no way to go back to the USA and had to pay for extra days' worth of hotels, food, transportation, so forth until I could finally find a way to get back home. Snap Travel/Booking Vault no longer responds to any of my emails or phone calls. All I want is a refund of the initial ticket price I paid to these Snap Travel/Booking Vault scammers. I am willing to eat the other $4,000 Snap Travel/Booking Vault cost me in added expenses and a last-minute ticket home. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Pretty sure a massive class action lawsuit is in their near future. It would be well deserved.

As someone said in another review, the old bait and switch. Almost impossible to cancel a reservation once it is made. Not transparent and seems to be run through the Philippines.

Rate a bit below everyone else, with reasonable tax amount, showed in Google travel search, but clicking through yielded this message: "rate no longer available." Then was offered same rate as other sites with a 40% upcharge labeled as "tax"... Eventually went through older established travel site that showed a higher rate to start, but with a normal tax rate. Total charge came to well below Snaptravel total. Won't waste my time again.

We do our best to find the most competitive rates, but have no control over price fluctuations. The taxes and fees that you see in your confirmation voucher are comprised of applicable local taxes & service fees. While charging fees is necessary for running a business, we do try to keep them as low as possible to provide our customers with the best rates.
My hotel never heard of snaptravel. Had never dealt with them. And received no reservation from them. It's now been about 6 hours since I made the reservation. And still the hotel has received nothing. The owner thought I was nuts that I would expect him honor my email confirmation. Now I'm out $300 act have no place to stay. The best part: no office to call. AI is the final wall of protection. You could say my problem is a jittery hotel owner. Me: if AI is so potent, how come it couldn't send an email with 6 hours? This all could've been avoided. Caveat emptor

Let me start by saying that we don't use third party booking sites. When a recent planned trip was met with frustration trying to find an available room from our usual hotels, we accepted the booking to an unfamiliar property through Reservation Stay/SnapTravel. The hotel booking made on September 11 for a stay in early October was for a Clarion Inn in Lancaster, PA and the photos showed a Clarion sign and a typical 2-star hotel. The booking receipt, however, was from Hammock Hotel, while my credit card showed SnapTravel/Clarion Inn… Should have been my first clue that something was amiss.
When we arrived at the destination we were horrified to discover a sign on the door condemning the building as unsanitary and unsafe for habitation dated from September 3. Initial calls to all numbers we could find were fruitless. Ultimately we began an e-mail trail with their Urgent Care team. Instead of acknowledging their error and quickly reimbursing our credit card, they have asked for an invoice from the defunct hotel, an invoice from our alternate choice, and acted like they were the victims. We feel like this is beyond the level of a mere scam and are deciding on our next steps.

Worst service ever, I ended up in a hotel with no room after I have a reservation made through snaptravel. Got a confirmation number and everything, too bad it didn't actually get to the hotel!

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I cannot speak with a supervisor for three hours to deal with a problem. I will remember this the next time I make travel reservations.

I booked with their other company Reservation stay. Com a IHG hotel. My problem was that I booked the wrong day on a Friday and want to change to Thursdays. Would not change the day and called them twice.
The IHG person at desk who was very helpful told me to call them back them and have them call him to verify to change. The second time I called they hung up on me. My lesson I learned is to use a well name booking agent or just book direct with hotel and get some points.

I would not even say they are the worst travel agent on the internet... they are so much worse than the worst. To even think about using them should give you a massive brain hemorrhage... they will do damage to you...

They charged me $31.08 over what hotel price actually was. Then tried telling me it's for their business. But there own policy states it's free to use. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS!

Arrived at the hotel, no reservation!
Contacted snaptravel who took over 6 hours to resolve nothing.
I was lied to twice that my booking was ready and when I checked with the hotel it wasn't resolved.
After the 6 hours snaptravel sent me a message saying they are in a different time zone so can't help any more!
I had to book a different hotel at 10pm!
No sign of a refund.
I've contacted my credit card company to get my money back.

Reservation stay.com and snap travel is a scam they are both connected! I booked in nyc I called the hotel to let them know I'm running late to find out I was never even booked! Crazy part is that when I googled the hotel so I can book they are the second ad on google so I thought it was legit. It's not customer service is a joke jooooke!. The hotel themselves said they have never heard of this site. I got played but Just know scammers y'all will hear from me and my lawyer mfs. They need to be seriously investigated, tell the news, social media. They are scamming everyone.

Answer: Both motels were okay with changing the reservation that was wrong we made in Arizona to putting the reservation to the motel in Lewiston Idaho but these idiots wouldn't help and switch it kept my $75 and I didn't get a room when I asked to speak to the supervisor or higher up manager they refused and hung up on
Answer: They are a horrible company and with horrible customer service. They talk down to you and even when their website is wrong and they book your room different than what you picked online, they refuse to help you fix it. They threaten you with nonrefundable and if the hotel wants them to call and cancel they will not. They ask for a written letter from the hotel. Really the worst travel site around. You think you are saving money and you truly are not, you are not getting what you think you paid for and then they have the nerve to ask for a huge tip because they tried to help save you money.
Answer: It's a joke! They say they will connect you with a Specialist and then the same person emails you giving you the run around. They're still "investigating".
