$69 and the glasses are unbelievably cheap. One broke right away. But the real scam is the eye dr. Checked a bix on the exam sheet that i needed another exam in a year. A year later DMV suspended my license. I called Stanton and complained that she never told me this. I live on a fixed income. This was my first exam ever. I only missed one letter on the DMV test. So Stanton offers me another $69 deal. Seriously! I should have read the reviews beforehand. Buyer beware

I just relocated to Greenville SC and I put my last contact lens in my eye last week so I needed to find a place that would give me a new prescription. Stanton Optical advertises many times a day here in Greenville. "2 pairs of glasses for $69 plus a FREE exam." Well... that sounded okay. So I went online, made an appointment and when I arrived they had my appointment and all was well... until they asked me what I was there for. I told them I'd just put my last contact in and needed to get my eyes checked and a new prescription. I also added I saw the ad for "2 pairs of glasses for $69 plus a FREE exam." "Ohhh sorry," they said. Contact lens are a different exam, which is crock, because I still got examined for glasses and contacts. But apparently to get contact lenses its $89 for an exam and nothing free. Except if I bought the contacts right then I get a free exam the next time I came in. I opted not to buy them there and I'm glad I did as when I went online, their lens were double the price I got at lens.com.

So I went and had an eye exam done. I was pretty please with that part of my visit to Stanton in Augusta GA. I picked out my glasses and the lady told me 10-12 days they would be back. I got 1 pair back in 12 days. I asked where my other 2 pair were and I got the run around. The following week the 2 second pair came in. At that time I was told the 3 pair would be in the next day or 2. I called and never could get an one from customer service which thye really need help with. Finally a week later my 3 pair came in.

Alright, well where to begin... i was recommended to come here by my father and I'm sure he's as upset as i am. I have held off my review(s) until i knew for sure whether they would make it right, but they didn't, so here we go! I went in for an eye exam for contacts and glasses, I paid half that day, which was $169, then paid the remaining balance a few days later when I picked up my glasses. This was all between July 18 and 25, so it's been awhile. The remaining balance was $167.44, which I paid with two $100 bills. Apparently, they have no record whatsoever this was paid. I either threw away my receipt, lost it, dropped it, etc, and because I wasn't smart and used cash instead of card, I have no physical record either. But here's a kicker, why do i have my glasses if I didn't pay?
