Save yourself some time and money! Go ANYWHERE else. What a true scam! Hope these people go out of business or learn truth in advertising. I went in for a free eye exam with purchase of two pair of frames for $59.95 and ends up that one pair would actually cost me $530.00 This place and their dishonest practices are reprehensible! Ends up my free eye exam cost $95 because I didn't buy the $530 recommended glasses. BUYER BEWARE. RUN DONT WALK
I called the customer service line and made an apt on Saturday at 10:25 am. I got an email notice on the 24th that my apt had been canceled. Not by me, but by the store. No one called to tell me, just an email. So I called again and made another apt for the same Saturday at 9:45 am. I arrived at the store, but it was closed. I checked my email, the cust service rep had made the apt in a CA store, when I asked for the same store I had made my first apt. I waited until the store opened, and mentioned my apt being canceled. The guy there said they were 'over booked' which is why it was canceled. No phone call, nothing, just an email. I have the screenshots below. If the company cares so little about it's customers, and after reading these bad reviews, I see I need to go somewhere else. I guess this is a blessing in disguise.
They are very deceiving, not understanding, non professional, liars and only want your money. I can back up every accusation, but it's a very long story. This was at their store in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
This was my first time going here and I can honestly say I had a great time. Nice friendly staff made it easy to find what I needed. They also have nice fair prices that will make it easy for you to find d what you can afford. I would recommend them to anyone.
I was very pleased with with this YOUNG LADY SERVICE she definitely has great energy and was very patient with answering all my questions. CANT REMEMBER HER NAME BUT SHE IS AFRICAN AMERICAN AND IS ON THE EASTSIDE. IN MADISON keep up the good work young lady

Their glasses are horrible and doctor is done via web cam. Sorry service. The glasses that is" buy one get one" is a selection of a total of 4 to choose from are so bad. Its is a joke!
These people are ridiculous. If you're going to blame everything on Covid, please close your doors until we've moved forward.
Spoke with Tom from the Greer SC store (he refused to give any other identifying things like last name or employee number). He refused to tell me if the store would cover the insurance but insisted on selling a visit. I would have to go in to find out if they took the insurance. When asked for someone else to answer my question he gave me a phone number and that person answered the question over the phone quickly. But he also wanted to sell a visit over phone customer service. What time can we set up your appointment is not the answer to I want to complain about Tom not giving simple info that is not HIPPA protected like they claimed.
Your in store representative, adjusted my frame without warming the the metal up and snap the inside arm of the frame. The purchase isn't a year old, and when I returned to have the frame repaired or replaced he wanted to charged me $30.00 for in-store services. I neither broke or damaged the frame and he was the only person who worked on it; I made an extra trip so it was done properly and still ended up with no frame. These bifocals are very imperative to me, I cannot see anything without them I'm extremely upset!

Bought contact lenses upon pickup given in a bag never asked do I know how to put them in. Never even given solution. Had to return and not even an apology. Went to get glasses was ignored by sales clerk then when I asked for my glasses he put them on the desk in front of me not even offering to let me try them on to c it fits correctly Stanley No more of my money there many more optical stores that offer good glasses and contacts that would be happy for my business.
I called and asked to get my PD and they were very rude and would not give me my PD! The PD is my info and they can not withhold this info from me! I spent over a thousand dollars on 2 pair of glasses that I could get from any other place for less than 1/4 the price!
Very rude people including the manager at the Coliseum Blvd store! I will never go back again.
All staff service was great. Very affordable! Meagan made my experience easy and fast. I highly recommend coming in!

Asked what I could get for $59. When we finished in was $293 for 2 pair. The warranty I tried to use cost me $25 for each problem. They could not tint my Sunglasses very much. Tried one more time. The Salesman was really helpful. Got me in a pair of Bi-focals for $99 total. PROBLEM: I cant get in touch with anyone to find out the status of my Glasses. I guess I will have to go up there. If you are a 1st time buyer, they answer on the 1st ring.
I contacted Stanton Optical to make sure they would take my vision insurance. I was connected with a corporate representative. The friendly nature and the information provided was impressive. I was assured that my vision insurance would be taken without restrictions... and, in fact I was advised that any other vision insurance I had would be honored also. I was happy, schedule an appointment, and looked forward to my upcoming visit.
On the day of the appointment my wife and I drove 65 miles to the Stanton office in Tallahassee. I checked in... or at least started doing so. The young man who was assisting me was just simply outstanding... but had to inform me that my insurance would not be honored as I had been informed. I ended my registration promptly, upset at being told a lie by corporate. As I was leaving, thoroughly disgusted, the nice fellow asked me if I would talk with the manager. Agreeing, welcoming the opportunity to do so as I had some things to share with the manager. The manager, Drew Miller, soon appeared and asked me to move to a more private section of the open area, which I did. He asked if he could help. I proceeded to explain my reasons for being upset. He listened with the patience of a saint. After I had made my introductory statements, Mr. Miller, asked me if I would give him an opportunity to make it right, which I was certainly willing to do, especially with his refreshing approach. He worked with me from a standpoint of respecting my situation and with a convincing manner that he was sincere. My frustration was replaced with a renewal of faith in the fact that good and honest people are still around and being thankful that I had found two of them while dealing with a very disappointing and upsetting discovery after I had attempted to get all the information needed before making an appointment. These two representatives are wonderful representatives of a corporation that has a flaw in the initial process for one to secure their services. That flaw represents dishonesty, intended or not. My suggestion is to have corporate meet with Mr. Drew Miller and ask him what corporate could do to improve their appointment process. He turned a really distasteful situation into a most pleasant experience that has earned my return business.

I purchased glasses in August of 2020. As of November 29,2020, I still do not have glasses that have the correct prescription. They have been sent back to the lab 3 times and are still not correct. The customer service in the store has been very good, but paying for glasses you cannot use is not acceptable.
I went to the store just built in Beaverton, OR. I was only customer, but the lady doing exam from remote area was odd. I thought it was because of covid-19. From what I read it's common practice. I waited 2 weeks for glasses. They aren't right. Floor is slanted, bad glare, headache after 5 minutes of wearing them, and if I look to side I see half through lens half out the side of glasses. I need glasses at night, and these got some things closer head on but everything else is off. I will be more likely to have a wreck with these glasses than without. I was thinking of going back and complain and get refund, but from the horror stories I read on here I may should just take my lose. At least I only lost $108. But I'm low income in the middle of a pandemic. But contemplating is it worth more stress. I should of read reviews.
Went to return both glasses. One pair came on the 12th & another pair came on the 15th. Had 30 days to return them. One pair was reimbursed but the other (11/13/20) was 1 day over the 30 day return because I had been tested for Covid19 & couldn't be here to return it, (I was negative thank goodness). The branch manager (blonde on 1210 E County Line Road- LeAnn) said that the system would not let her override it but she IS the branch manager & there is a COVID-19 epidemic! If I would have came into the business & breathed on her I would have been responsible!
