Excellent Service

I would like to say that my overall service with Kinley at the Tyler, Tx Store was awesome! She was the sweetest and very personable, She also went to great lengths to get my daughter and I exactly what we wanted at great prices! We will definitely look for her in the future. Thanks Soooooo Much!

Of my 50+ years. Of wearing contacts/glasses, my Pensacola Stanton Optical visits were WORST EVER! Was assured would have both regular glasses and sunglasses by time of my surgery as I could not wear contacts while eye was healing... long story short... one pair was ready in time but not my sunglasses NOT until AFTER my healing time where I no longer needed them... trips to store were many and very frustrating (they don't answer their phone); calls made to customer service, who like the personnel in store, did NOT follow up as they said. Oh and the two pair for $59, WOW what a joke! That didn't happen. Lesson learned, I'll be returning to REAL EYE-CARE professionals who know what they are doing!

Scam

What a joke of a place! Made we wait an hour when they insisted on an appointment. They never bothered to tell me there was no doctor there on site. That it was a teledoc appointment! My two glasses for $59 came out to $320 with lenses and add in's! What a SCAM! Left and would never go back!

Waiting and waiting. Worker programmed to say "be right there with you" to everyone who walks in the door. So, you think someone will be right with you? No way! Screwed up my appointment 3 times. Pay the extra money and go someone else unless you got nothing else to do with your life and like being tooled around. Seems like a good place for people who don't have much money? Take the advice from most others who have reviewed this place. Still thinking about going to Stanton? Then you choose to complicate your life with BS and lies. Lies with the price too! This place is a big Scam! Still want to go to Stanton? You will be the fool. I was the fool. You get sucked in with the promises and lies. Something that seems to good to be true is too good to be true. Still want to go?

Terrible

I came in July 2nd to have my frames fitted with my prescription, I was told they would be ready for pick up July 16th. I have called in every day since, spoke to the customer service number as well and all they tell me is "it shows here they'll be in tomorrow". I've asked to speak to a manager more than a dozen times and they say they'll forward my info to them because apparently they're never in store, and no one has contacted, they won't refund my money, and no one knows where MY frames are. Stanton Optical on Sheridan Ave in Tonawanda NY. Absolutely horrible

Fist off 1 pair of glasses just under 400.00. Promised 2 weeks, also have the order print out that states 2 weeks. Called after 2 weeks. Promised a ticket to expedite order is written and a manager will call and update in less than 3days. So 10 days later-NO CALL. UPDATED TIME TO GET MY OREDER—WELL OVER A MONTH. CALLED AGAIN——-NEVER A CALL BACK. THEY JUST DO NOT CARE AND GROSSLY OVERCHARGE.

I went to the eye doctor on July 3 they told me my glasses would be ready on July 17. Guess what July 17 came & I have no glasses! I called everyday they open after July 17 & I was told they would be in the next day, well next day came & still No Glasses. It's now July 25 & it's almost the end of the month and I still have No Glasses. I asked for my money back and they wouldn't give it back. Never Again!

My buddy and I went in to get exams and new prescriptions for both of us.
After his exam he was told they didn't accept his insurance. This is something they should have explained to him before the exam ever took place.
I was told my insurance didn't cover anything (exam, frames or lens) which was an outright lie.
After calling my insurance company, my Rep called Stanton Optical.
After spending a day on calls with Stanton Optical, my Ins Rep called me back explaining that everything should be cleared up and she faxed Stanton Optical a copy of my coverage and I should call Stanton Optical and make arrangements for a refund of what I was charged for the exam and so forth.
I tried calling Stanton Optical but was given a run around and Stanton has been avoiding me making no effort to communicate with me.
A completely untrustworthy and incompetent facility.
I would have given Stanton Optical minus 5 stars but sadly they don't make that an option.
I have been in business my entire life and never have I seen the garbage I see today.
In my day you could not stay open acting like these people are.
Anyone doing business with these people are fools.

I have waited 3 months for my contacts. I called 10 time for my shipment. I paid and my insurance paid, but I am still wearing the same contact from when I had my exam 3 months ago in March!

I went there for the eye exam and a pair of glasses and after everything was said and done my bill was $527 so I thought that was very high and mislead then after I tried on the glasses the prescription was wrong so they rescheduled to do another prescription and the same problem it was way off and because I paid for the glasses I felt trapped so I asked them to use my old prescription that the VA had done for me prior years. I wouldn't never recommend anyone to go there.

Still No glasses

I went to Stanton Optical at the end of March 2020. I spent in between two and three hundred dollars. Why did three or four weeks for my eyeglasses to come back because I broke the pair I had. When they come back the prescription was totally wrong. I could not see anything. They asked me to try them out for a week. They called and said my second pair was ready I never picked them up because I knew the prescription was the same. I had to wait a few weeks went back in had another eye exam done. I had an 11 appointment. I feel like everyone was taken in front of me because they had not collected their money yet. I sent there for two and a half hours. Finally got my eye exam done. There was a big difference in the prescription. They took my frame back and was supposed to get the pair I never picked up and send them off for new lenses. That was 4 weeks ago. Today I call to find out about my glasses and they tell me that I have one pair ready. It's the same pair that are never picked up because the prescription was wrong. They're showing my order has never been placed. I can't see to drive so I am so upset right now. My experience has been nothing but the worst.

They say it's a certain price then the manager comes out with all the recendation to upscale you then it shows you
Mentally the height price tags you say no I want all the basic then it's still higher then expected they come back and say it's only for eye exams and frames not the lenses so it's a hidden extra fee that the natural eye don't see or understand. So they upsale to higher when in all Reality you were already uphold
From the get go. Go to eye mart save the trouble and beside eye mart is a eye exams place all together still cheaper then this place last time we will ever go here. Second reason if that's not bad enough they told me my glasses was ready waiting on truck promise date is the 12th drove a hour to get there no glasses new promise date the 15th! I got we're sorry about that.

Got in at noon got out at4:30 and still no glasses cost they had a problem running my card and the old man working with frames he was terrible i had to leave no glasses but i paid with same bank card for eye exam sorry service terrible

Ok so my glasses broke could not offer me a new different frame because they didn't have my frame there told me I could take up to a month to get them back now I'm without my night vision anti glare, plus the tint for driving in Sun told them including the complaint department they don't seem to care so pepole never get glasses hear there customer service sucks.

I called to make appointment for eye exam and 2 pair of glasses for 89.99, I was told to pick out frames while waiting for tech. I went into the section that was once the discount frames. No one in store helped me with getting me the correct frames.
When the clerk told me it went from 89.99 to almost 400.00, I told them to keep their glasses I will go else where.
I suggest stay away from Stanton they are a rip off

Yep, the $59 deal quickly escalates to $300 & up but okay, Ieeded some extra lose stuff & sales guy was very helpful with what I was asking for. Ordered 2 pairs, one for dark & one for light I needed to compete in an indoor sporting event three weeks after ordering.
Get one pair but they tell me no more frames. Drive out of my way back there, find an okay substitute. A week later, they tell me the lenses can't be cut at the store to fit the second frames. They will send it out and express mail to my hotel at the event. Everyday, nothing. Never came.
Three months later, still saying in transit! Refusing to give me a refund, only store credit, insane how much time and aggravation I wasted with this idiotic company.

Stanton optical in Sherman Texas!... This is the worst experience I've ever had getting glasses in the 45 plus years that I have worn glasses. I won't even go over the exam that did not make any sense. But when I got there to pick up my glasses I could not see anything through the glasses. Not even one thing. Then the manager / supervisor Matthew tried to convince me that that was normal, to not be able to see anything at all through my glasses. It was just ridiculous. And although I paid cash for them $200 I could not receive cash back as a refund. Okay so you have a policy. But then he couldn't understand why I was upset. The whole thing was ridiculous. I can't believe the experience I had. The horrible customer service I received. I certainly will not go back there. I will recommend to everyone I know not to go back there. I can only pray to God that I received my so-called corporate refund by a check. That they say I will receive in 2 to 6 weeks. So that's another no telling how long before I can be able to see now. Because I cannot afford to get glasses until I get that money back. But I'm sure they could care less about that. My family members that recommended the place they will not be going back there after this experience. But I'm sure Stanton optical does not care about that either. Of course I do not get reimbursed for the 240 miles for the 260 mile round trips I took for the exam or to pick up the glasses. Horrible horrible horrible place. Do not go there

I went to Stanton optical for the 2 for 59 glasses when I came in they did the exam immediately after I asked which glasses were 2 for 59 they were the worst glasses I've ever seen did not match the ons they display online after that I was upsold to a pair of three hundred dollar glasses 2hich I could not afford but I had to pay for the exam so I bought the glasses anyways they were supposed to be done in a week I am still waiting I can't see and I can't return to work til I have glasses this is the worst optometrist I've ever seen would not recommend to my dog... these people suck

I definitely WILL NOT be ordering glasses from Stanton Optical again. I went into Stanton optical on 4/3/2020 to have an eye exam and to buy a pair of glasses. It's been over a month since I've had my exam, and when I call to speak to someone about my order status I'm transferred to an automated machine. Am I the only person waiting this long for my glasses? Do they not understand how important it is for us the customer's to receive our glasses in a timely manner. It's like once Stanton optical received my money they could care less about when I will be receiving them. I'm highly disappointed. They lost another customer. That's for sure but I'm sure they will not care. My advice go somewhere else if you can afford it. Or be like me and have to wait forever. Best of luck. I hope this helps.
