The thoughtfulness Smallwoods puts into their product is pleasantly obvious. The packaging is simple, yet sturdy and very protective. The quality of the product is superb, with clear imaging and rich color in both the images and the frame. These are clearly built to last generations.
The website is glitchy which makes it hard to work on a project and the description of what you're actually getting is lacking. I thought I was getting actual photo paper prints with mat but I see it's actually printed to look like matting. Overall I'm happy but I think that could've been clearer upfront. I also wish there was a better way to hang the frames.
Tried Smallwood for the first time with a very large print (24x36). Shipping was quick, quality was great, and price was wonderful. I'm already planning my next purchase!
The print it self if great, the frame not so much. On all the frames the sides don't line up at the bottom. You can see one corner longer on every single one.
Very frustrating experience. My order placed December 26 never went into production because the image kept getting rejected and then approved again with no consistency. After six emails and no shipment, I just asked for my money back. Poor communication and not worth the hassle.
This is the 2nd time I have ordered from Smallwoods and both times have been absolute successes. I love my pictures. The quality is great and the website is very user friendly. The pictures arrive quickly and wonderfully packaged as to not damage your pictures.

The photos seemed grainy, one the eyes was so blurry dont look like eyes. Frames are not put together really squared at the corners leaving a white looking line on black frame. For almost $300 for 4 wasn't to satisfied. My daughter used them couple years ago was pretty nice.
I have purchased multiple pieces in the past and I am once again satisfied! This last piece arrived quickly, and perfectly made per usual.
My husband and I are a blended family. I have three Smallwoods 16x16s that I ordered of my three children two years ago and we wanted his two girls to feel included, so we ordered two new 16x16s of them. The quality of the work is still fantastic, however the frames, are not the same. Even though I ordered the same color, the wood is different and does not match the other three frames.
We've ordered from Smallwoods A LOT! It's always been a great experience. However this time, we ordered just the prints, as we have so many frames and the size was way off. We had to cut down the print to fit in the frame even though we ordered the exact same size as the frame. Just an unnecessary step as the customer.
Great products have ordered several times but uploaded incorrect pic on a Saturday night and when I emailed customer service Sunday I was told on Monday it was too pre. 12 hr time frame for adjustments only. Seems like a weekend adjustment could have been accommodated as it didn't ship till much later in the week. Just a lot of money spent on a useless item and I do take some responsibility however I feel Smallwood could have worked with me as well.
I love my Smallwood Home Pictures! They make such a gorgeous statement when you walk in my house and it brings my heart so much joy to see my littles on the wall. Easy purchasing experience and a phenomenal end result!
I ordered a 24x36 framed canvas picture of our family. I absolutely love it and the quality is superb! The price is very within reason. I will definitely order again.
This is my first time purchasing after spending more than a year thinking about buying. I've seen previous work from the company in friend's' homes and liked it but I didn't receive anything of similar quality. My pictures I provided were taken on an iPhone 17 plus and are pristine images but what I received back from small woods is like it was taken on a phone from the 90's. The images are so pixelated and blurry my child is almost unrecognizable. It's unfortunate because I really wanted these but I would never purchase again.
Terrible customer service! Received my photo and it's very blurry! Looks terrible! Customer service is absolutely no help at all! Blamed me for the poor quality!
I love my small woods photos! They are always impeccable! The length of time from order to receive is short … the only issue is that Fed Ex is the shipping company and in my area they are horrible and threw my package at the end of my driveway in the snow!
The ordering process was so easy. I received the pictures in less than 2 weeks and they are exactly what I wanted. Very good quality. Love them!
Upon receiving my canvas picture I hung it over the fire place. Less than 5 minutes of it being hung it came crashing down. The brackets they attached to hang it with are attached to the cardboard backing not the frame. The bracket tore off the back and let the canvas fall to the mantle then onto the floor.

Answer: I had one print damaged during shipping but was able to fix it easily. They need to work on packing and shipping. There are opportunities for improvement.
