We have used SendMyBag both internationally and domestically. Internationally you need to have a detailed list of what you are sending inside and out of your bag/box. But that would be for any service. We have had a good experience with each shipment. Send your bag rather than pay airline charges and have it delivered to your door. Very conventient!

Mostly it went smoothly. There was some issues with customs but the SendMyBag team helped me promptly. Would recommend it.
Delay in shipment for 45 days. They requested an additional $500. They don't return the shipment but demand $1,000, or else they will destroy your shipment. I do not recommend dealing with them at all.

Second time using them. First time Italy to US worked well. This time US to Italy has been a disaster. It is 16 days after swe shipped the bags to Italy and they have no arrived and, to make matters worse, their customer service has gone from ok to horrible and gets worse each day. They are now incredibly obnoxious when we ask each day where the bags are. They are stuck in customs, which is not their fault, but had they told us that customs takes weeks this time of year, we would not have used them. So they lied to get our business and now want no part of helping us get updates. Just a horrible experience and we may never see these bags again.

Reviewing your order I can see that once all pieces arrived into the country the courier began customs clearance, understandably customs are a government body, we had forwarded all your documentation to assist with this and allow clearance to be processed.
We were notified on Thursday 25th July that the shipment contained prescription medication which is unfortunately prohibited on the service, we recommended direct contact with the courier to explain this and I can see your shipment was granted a release from customs today. We will continue to monitor this closely until delivery.

I was badly disappointed the last time I used SendmyBag but on this occasion there was a vast improvement my nerves about my bag arriving on time and in one piece were unjustified and no confusion over sizing this time!
Well organised pick up and drop off great service especially for disabled travelers.

Customer service was excellent in answering queries and the service was fast and efficient.
I have removed one star because there was a misunderstanding around some tape I purchased and I never received the product or a refund. That aside, I would rate the company as excellent and my clothing arrived in perfect condition.
I love being able to do this, it takes all the stress out of travelling, not having to worry about your luggage, I would highly recommend this way of getting your luggage to your destination, wonderful company
These guys are brilliant. It's such a smooth process and so easy to follow the progress. One small improvement is a narrower time window for collection as it's a drag to wait around all day.

Having had quotes to move 4 boxes from UK to USA that topped £2.5k, when send my bag quoted under £600, I was dubious.
I needn't have been.
From start to finish, they were unbelievably professional. Pick up was seamless and delivery was super quick. I was delighted with their service and price.
First time used...picked up from where they said they would and delivered within 48 hours.door to door service..
If you're organised and want to cut out the hassle of dragging large luggage thru airports SendMyBag really does a great job. Arranged transport of bags from London to Dublin. Everything was great. Only small issue is the paperwork due to Brexit... not SendMyBags fault directly... this element could be streamlined a lot more to make it a top top service. Will use again... for intra-EU-transfers for sure! :)
Answer: Scam, additional charges added, no explanation and letters of demand following, this is not an ethical business.
Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.

Reviewing your order, I can see that you sent on a 'non holiday' route with ourselves, which as a result, we advise against sending any time sensitive goods on the network. However, understandably the delay was less than ideal, with customs advising that it required food and pharmaceutical approval, which you disagreed with and are currently engaging with them directly regarding the additional charges that were applied.
When sending on a non holiday route, we ask that customers engage with the courier & customs directly to process the release of their shipment from customs.
We are continuing to monitor the engagement from our end and our customer service team is available if you have any additional queries.
