Obviously out of your control but not being able to send creams and having to list items is a pain that swings the needle in favour of check in baggage again
Have used send my bag a number of times, they are a bit rigid in regard to what you can pack, but understandable in light of airline security, the thing that makes travelling a nightmare is managing luggage. Now I don't have too. My son and his family live in America, my luggage is picked up at my door, and arrives in America before I do. I live in fear of this company not surviving covidd. The most difficult thing with luggage now is getting it downstairs to the front door. I watch other people struggling with suitcases on the Heathrow airport hopper buses, and I just have a little overnight bag which goes into the overhead bins on the plane.
I have used Send My Bag on several occasions to ship goods to my daughters in Australia, and from pick up to delivery the process has been great. I will be using them again in the next few weeks. Great service

Experience prior to Brexit, but I have used SendMyBag a few times and everything worked as it should. Really saves the hassled of dragging stuff to and from the airport.
This was the best experience! At the time I could not drive and had to rely on trains. I was called back from Bristol to Norfolk as my father's health had taken a turn for the worst. I packed so much as was not sure how long I was going to be needed. There was NO WAY I could have managed to get across London with all the luggage I had! So I arranged SendMyBag. It was absolutely fantastic - really good value and took all the stress away from an already emotional journey. I would use again in a flash! The only slight negative at the time was they couldn't specify a time for collection in Bristol (I believe they were trialling a dedicated slot system), so a very dear friend had to wait in all day just in case. But - seeing as I arranged it all so last minute - this was not a major problem. I really cannot recommend this enough!

I have used Send my bag on several occasions and find them very efficient and reliable. Luggage collected and delivery at time arranged. Tracking of luggage available which is also very useful I have used this company on several occasions and when travel is possible between my house in UK and my house in France I shall certainly use them again. It is money very well spent as it makes travel very much easier and more enjoyable.
The first time we used them we were a bit nervous about losing our luggage but we arrived and our luggage was waiting for us and we had an easy flight with no big cases to worry about at the carousel
My suitcase had soft sides. I packed and measured it laying on it side. When they measured it standing up, it was probably bulging on the sides. This threw my measurements off.
Answer: Scam, additional charges added, no explanation and letters of demand following, this is not an ethical business.
Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
