I have used SendMyBag numerous times and without fail, they have been on time to collect and on time to deliver. Their on-line order form is extremely easy and user friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Travelling to Southampton by plane or train involves changing at least once, or sometimes twice, and not having to manage a large suitcase in these situations has made the beginning of my holiday really hassle free.

Returning to the US after a year abroad, I wanted to visit a friend before departing without dragging all my luggage with me. SendMyBag came to my house on schedule, picked up my bags quickly, and they were returned to my home in the States in perfect condition within the stated time period. Considering what the airlines charge for check-in luggage, it's not even that much more expensive.

First of all, the fact that the review of the order was asked more than one year later after the competition of it (just received the request by mail 07/2021to leave a review, when the order was of 01/2020) speaks for itself already. Second, this experience was not really great. After my first experience I used also couple of time this service and still is disappointed with it.
The most uncomfortable fact about it that the company's delivery person never contacts you no matter if you have or not the mobile phone of the country where you make an order. Also, taking into account that you are not contacted upon driver's arrival for a pick up or collect, you must basically stay the whole day at the pick up/destination point looking out of the window, because if they arrive and you are not standing in front of the door and they cannot enter themselves, they just leave and put the status « delivery failed ».
For this one experience I was charged 4€ that the dimension of my suitcase was couple of centimeters bigger than declared (so my advice is to round it up to a bigger number in case you put too much stuff inside).
All in all, in this kind of service communication does matter, unfortunately this was the weakest point in my experience with the company.
We sent our bags two weeks ahead of our arrival. Send My Bags provided thorough, easy to follow instructions and documentation for shipment and customs. We were able to track our bags as we backpacked across Europe and met our bags at the end of our trip as anticipated. Customer service was super helpful with any and all questions we had. Pricing was affordable. Highly recommend this company.
My son had 4 large suitcases to deliver from Switzerland to UK. I decided on this site and did not regret it. The cases arrived as planned, no problems at all. I will use this service again if I ever get to travel anywhere again.

Staff extremely helpful over telephone as this was first time I had used service they fully explained procedure etc. Bags collected at arranged time and arrived safely at Hotel where they were held ready for our arrival few days later. Would certainly use service again if going on long flight with limited baggage restriction. So easy at destination going through customs etc with very little baggage.
Simple phone call, collected within the hour and shipped from Orlando to Sydney, drama free!

Even when I made a sill mistake on the Form, I called up, quite late at night, and actually got a PERSON TO SPEAK TO, who sorted everything out, so patiently. The suitcase was delivered safely, and exactly on time,

I am very satisfied with Sendmybag services. My daughter's luggages were blocked in Paris during a huge national strike. SendMybag managed to pick up and delivery the luggages on time and everything went smoothly. Very impressed.

Answer: Scam, additional charges added, no explanation and letters of demand following, this is not an ethical business.
Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
