I used them for years to frequently send a Holdall to my house in Portugal. Always very reasonable in prices compared with Hold baggage on the flight, plus door to door service, never once any problem, courteous service each end. I would have given it 10 stars out of 6, so satisfied was I, ………… However, since Brexit (not their fault) it has become almost useless for Europe journeys in my book. My one gripe with ‘Send My Bag' is that they did not explain the resultant restrictions on the containers that can be used, until you get right to the end of the booking form. Now apparently you can only use a ‘Box' or a ‘Suitcase'. …. A ‘Box'? Until you do the final packing how do you know what size you'll need? A ‘Suitcase'?…. Having got that there, how do you get an ‘empty' suitcase back to the UK other than by paying for nothing? This major change to European journeys needed to be brought to our attention at THE START of the booking procedure.
N. B. If you're shipping stuff within the UK I'm sure their excellent service has not changed!

Send my bag was recommended to us. how fabulous it is. Picked up from my front door delivered to my hotel in Austria around 5 days later. Returning journey as good picked up from hotel and delivered to my front door … we travel to Europe by train so this is excellent for us.
Service worked exactly as described. Supplies arrived promptly, bags were picked up according to schedule, and arrived on time. So good, in fact, that I recently recommended SendMyBag to several family members.
Answer: Scam, additional charges added, no explanation and letters of demand following, this is not an ethical business.
Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
