While on my way from Cardiff to Frankfurt for a university conference in Kassel in June 2023, KLM managed to leave my suitcase in Amsterdam and then delivered it to my hotel in Kassel after I had already left for home. Although each time I phoned them they kept assuring me that they would recover it and send it to me they never did. After two months of waiting, staff at the university staff rescued it from the hotel and SendmyBag.com were able to arrange for it to be collected and returned to me by DHL. I cannot praise SendmyBag.com too highly. Their advice and instructions were clear, detailed and precise. The case took only a week to arrive, a lot faster and more cheaply than if I had dealt directly with DHL, which in any case had already had proved to be virtually impossible.

Highly recommend this company because the process from start to finish is easy, phoning is quick and explanations given are great and put your mind at ease. Lovely personnel, professional and easy to book your items for shipping. In my case, I had two pairs of skis shipped from somewhere near the Italian alps to north of London, all done speedily without any hassle in less than two weeks from start to finish.
I've used SendMyBag numerous times - too often to count - and have always found it punctual, pleasant and incredibly useful. It often comes in at cheaper than bringing the bag with me on an airline. The courier arrives at my door, takes the bag and the next thing I know it's being delivered to my holiday address or home address depending on whether I'm coming or going. It definitely beats carring a 20kg bag through airports, railway station, trains or buses. I highly recommend it.

I recently sent a large suitcase from hotels in Plymouth to Windsor, UK. I wasn't at either hotel for collection or delivery, so a bit stressed as to how it would go. Absolutely thrilled to arrive in Windsor and find my suitcase there. The whole process was easy. Customer service was brilliant and reassuring every time I called. I was kept informed of delivery progress via emails from Fed Ex (I think). Would definitely use send my bag again. Absolutely recommend. Thank you ;)
The tag did not arrive initially with the printed address so we had to follow up. Once I'd paid my fee, I was then asked to pay extra money as they said my measurements were incorrect. I was disappointed as they threatened to add interest if I didn't pay within the week.
An Infuriating Experience
Send My Bags was a profound disappointment. We were hoping to avoid checking our bags at the airport, so we could rush to see a dear friend perform in New York City without the cumbersome wait at Baggage Claim, which would inevitably cause us to miss the show. Our timing was tight! The price tag was high at $450, but we decided our friend was worth it. We prepared our luggage exactly as the website advised. We followed all of the instructions to the letter. Send My Bag told us they would collect the luggage between 9am and 6pm, but no one ever came. I engaged with a representative on the chat line, who apologized, and swore the luggage would be retrieved within two hours, before 8pm. Again, no one came. It is now almost midnight, and our luggage is sitting downstairs with the bellman. The chat line is now closed, and no one is answering on the Send My Bag phone line either. At this point, we have no choice but to check our bags and forfeit seeing our friend. The whole experience has been a huge aggravation, and really dispiriting. This is the worst introduction I've ever had to a company. We will not use them again, under any circumstances.
What does this company do at all? Set up a collection and was advised it'd be sometime between 8:00 and 18:00, waiting at home for the full ten hours with nothing, only to be told the driver showed up and I wasn't ready! Rescheduled fo the next day and was assured multiple times the collection would occur, only it was the same story, ten hours of waiting with no collection. Send My Bags has zero control over anything, they only send it using FedEx. Eliminate the middle man and just use FedEx or the Post Office. Never again.
Oh and they only gave an 85% refund, despite my doing everything correctly and being grossly inconvenienced.
I sent 2 bags with (@sendmybag Sendmybag.com) you on August 14th from Washington/USA to Puerto Vallarta/MEX and in addition to you not doing your job, I was also humiliated by an attendant on the phone, and you wanted to charge me to give me back my bags.
I was accused of abandoning my bags, when in fact it was you who did nothing to help me. DHL in Mexico didn't even have my information and that's why my bags were refused entry into Mexico.
Today DHL fortunately returned my bags for free and they did it with professionalism that you lack.
Therefore, I will leave everything I suffered from you in my networks.
All this with evidence through email, transcribed chats, recorded calls.
If it's up to me, no one else will suffer from the "almost" loss of their personal things, because a company simply neglected their work.

Answer: Scam, additional charges added, no explanation and letters of demand following, this is not an ethical business.
Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
