Sendle's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to unreliable service and poor communication. Many users report frequent delays in pickups and deliveries, lost parcels, and a lack of accountability from customer support, which often relies on generic responses. While some customers appreciate the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of the platform, these benefits are overshadowed by the stress and frustration associated with service failures. Overall, the feedback indicates a pressing need for improved operational reliability and customer service responsiveness to restore trust and satisfaction among users.

I have scheduled a service to be picked up next day but they failed to pickup. I went to their site and filled up a form to report the issue. Got a reply saying they will send a "dedicated" pickup for my item, and still did not arrive. And I filled up and sent 2 more follow-ups for my issue, and this time its total silence. I decided to cancel the service on the third day.
The few dollar savings is not worth the headache dealing with this service--let this be your warning!
Parcel was scheduled for delivery 11 August. Only travelling from one side of Melbourne to the other. Late in the evening checked tracking delivery as it hadn't arrived. Message pops up "Undeliverable". Due to Covid-19, there were 3 people home all day! No one saw or heard any attempted delivery! I believe that their claim that delivery was attempted is total BS!
Their tracking web site is next to useless! Especially on an Android device!
Because of the courier's inefficiency, I won't be using the vendor I did again!
Very poor contact tools when there is an issue. Clunky email kept trying to take money from a card that was an issue even following directions they gave to changed. They locked my account couldnt contact properly to sort out. Very poor.
2nd sendle delivery, second epic FAIL. 2 weeks for a delivery that should take 2 days the first time. 2 weeks and still waiting, the second time. NEVER use this service if you can avoid it!
I ordered a pick up and sendle has changed who the sender was and who the deliver was twice. I was told by the shop that the package was picked up four days ago which has been denied by sendles computer system. Their surport system is totally nonexistent. This package is a battery for my wheelchair and I have been without mobility for four days due to appalling incompetence. Do not give this company your business. I have never witnessed such poor service. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Waiting fror an item from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast, over ten days now... I could have walked there and back in that time.
I will in future ask what method is being used and will noit buy an item if Sendle is being used.
No idea yet when i will see the item. Their late delivery resolution service says it could take 5 days to get an answer, what a freaking joke. Australia Post is bad, but they are lot better than Sendle
If you want to make your customers upset, use this company.
They were supposed to pick parcels on Monday but didn't until Wednesday.
No customer support function, whenever there is a deliver or collection issue there is no one to help, only email and they might get back to you in a few business days, if your lucky!
I've used multiple times with an eBay store and collections are rarely collected on the day booked, and deliveries are the same. I've now had a package returned because they can't follow a simple instruction to call the receiver! Yet I can't speak to anyone to find out the issue and get it fixed.
And appealing company setup and having no customer support is ridiculous in this day and age.
Highly recommend to avoid this company!
For online deliveries, i take the the product received and delivery, using the lowest rating of the two. As delivery( or lack of it) was horrible sendle gets two stars with the original vendor getting one to encourage then to use a better courier service. The delivery company, at the end of the chain gets two for not even trying to deliver.
This is a review for Sendle in Australia. I implore small businesses to avoid using this company in an effort to save on shipping costs. My parcel has been in transit for 20 days from one state away, usual ground mail would generally take 3 business days max. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but orders from US and UK have arrived in those 20 days and Australia Post has delivered without issue in under a week.
I have since found out that Sendle is a middleman that contracts out to other courier companies, namely Couriers Please in my case. Tracking indicates attempted delivery (never happened) and card left (never happened) and me twice requesting redelivery (never happened). I can only assume it is sloshing around in the back of a courier van that may return to sender, throw in the bin or deliver when they want.
Check out their social media for more complaints on their service.
I have had a parcel sent on Sendle which was incorrectly address. When I wanted to correct the address I was told that the address could not be changed and the parcel would be returned to the sender. This has taken more than a week and has not been delivered or sent back to the sender. Will I ever see my parcel?
Just stay away from this company.
There don't deliver, and charge twice for the delivering cost. After trying to contact and email them many times with no response. Refunded the buyer. Lost the item that was sold plus sending cost.
Shocking Company no Phone number and customer service
Shame I can't give negative stars as Sendle aren't even worth 1.
This company are totally useless. They are a logistics company only, that use other courier companies to deliver their customers parcels. Firstly Sendle have no phone support, only email, with a more than 48 hr business day turnaround, if you are lucky enough to receive a response at all.
So if you need urgent help you can forget it.
1. Sendle offer $100 free insurance cover but if you deal with the courier directly they offer $1000 free insurance cover
Sendle offer next day collection 8 am - 6 pm
2. Dealing with the couriers directly you can choose same day collection as well as a choice of collection times.
3. Sendle take no responsibility when an item is lost. Dealing with them is like dealing with a pack of morons.
4. Sendle is more expensive than if you deal with the couriers directly.
Honestly do yourself a favour and open an account with the couriers directly. Your customers will be happier in the long run as issues will be addressed in a more timely manner. You will turn grey haired later rather than sooner
As a preface; I work in a fairly large manufacturing company and have been in charge of logistics for over a decade, so I can tell you that I understand how courier services should, and otherwise do work.
Sendle has zero customer service.
- I bought an item on the 14th of July.
- It took them 3 days to pick it up.
- They then claimed it was un-deliverable (the address is literally a distribution centre that I run, and I received a delivery literally 5 minutes after they claimed nobody was here. I didn't leave, the door was open. I was definitely here and they 100% without any doubt did NOT try to deliver.
- After this, I was forced to make an account. I requested re-delivery.
- Within the afternoon, they updated the parcel to delivered, signed by 'DISPOSED OF AS UNSALVAGEABLE '
- I have no doubt that the driver just decided that they liked the goods I ordered, then kept it for themselves.
I received my refund from the seller, but I still haven't received a response from Sendle.
I personally believe based on my own 10 years of experience in logistics; sending parcels domestically and internationally, that Sendle is the absolute worst option available.
What's funny to me though? Is that my company is currently about to start selling our products online and guess who's in charge of looking for a courier service to handle that work? Me.
This would be approximately 80-100k of business per year.
Sendle is now not even in consideration for my business.
They have shown to me that they are no more than a scam.
Sendle is the worst courier company on earth. If you are considering using them, please save yourself the hassle and pay more money elsewhere.
Scheduled pick up was 4 days ago and nothing, no way to contact them and enquires are so bad with customer service no response. Worst service possible very stressful for a small business. Consider otherwise, will never use them again rather pay an extra $2 for Australia post
They often say that they are going to collect, and then don't. This has happened a number of times and there is no way to contact them by phone to address the issues.
They never attempt deliver, they just text you that they "missed you" and direct you to another shady business (pack & send) to pick it up. I had two deliveries with Sendle in the past few months and both of them had the same outcome. At normal times it would mostly be annoying, but given my multiple chronic health conditions, it puts me in direct risk as I am not supposed to leave the house. The local pack & send (Coburg VIC) is run by a nasty, abusive owner as well, with no sense of keeping his business COVID safe (in addition to yelling and abusing at customers - I have it on video). This is the experience in store for you as well if you live around Coburg and are unfortunate enough to have something sent with this sham company.
First time I used them and absolutely the last. Organised to pick up parcel, was still on my doorstep for collection 5 days later, no contact as to why, just kept changing pick up day. Cost me big $ and customers. Cost me more to organise another courier, at least they organised pick up within 1.5 hrs of contact - highly recommend Pack & Send.
Where does one start? Received notification on June 30: 'Parcel order created'. July 2: 'We have noticed that this parcel was not picked up on the scheduled date, and have escalated this with our pickup provider to get the parcel collected'. It's now July 14. No further updates. No replies to messages sent to them via their page. Also tried Facebook and Twitter. Nothing. Dead as a door nail. This is an awful company. They are essentially criminals. Don't use them. Just don't.
If you ever buy something online make sure the sender does NOT use Sendle. Absolutely terrible. No notification of delivery system like other delivery companies.
Answer: Impossible. No phone contact at all. Email messages to Sendle support get scripted replies pointing to information on the website. A week of demands to escalate gets email contact from another employee who says all the same things as the first one.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
Sendle is building the most efficient and delightful delivery solution on the planet to make shipping simple, reliable and affordable for millions of small businesses in Australia, the U.S. and Canada, and their customers.
