Sendle's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to unreliable service and poor communication. Many users report frequent delays in pickups and deliveries, lost parcels, and a lack of accountability from customer support, which often relies on generic responses. While some customers appreciate the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of the platform, these benefits are overshadowed by the stress and frustration associated with service failures. Overall, the feedback indicates a pressing need for improved operational reliability and customer service responsiveness to restore trust and satisfaction among users.

I tried using Sendle on two occasions to send approx 40 parcels to customers.
1. Sendle uses two different courier services. One would pickup promptly - the other one would NEVER pickup after 3-4 days of leaving parcels outside.
Sendle offers refunds for cancelled orders - however the time taken to enter the shipping info, then cancel one by one and re enter with an alternative service is not worth the hassle.
2. The time taken to deliver was unacceptable. All the parcels I sent were being delivered within my state and took 3+weeks to be delivered.
3. Many parcels were delivered damaged with the boxes ripped open.
Well, one parcel has gone missing and another may not show. Sent an inquiry in. It seems they cannot find a Christmas present purchased awhile ago. Are you (Sendle) going to cough up the money spent for this parcel? Looks like the second one is missing as well. Why do sellers use this company? I am sure, buyers will pay the extra cost for a reliable courier mob. "NOT HAPPY JEN!"
I had twice bad experiences with Sendle.
Once they came to collect the parcel at 7:00am when is 1 hour earlier than the timeframe. The courier didn't press the door bell inform me of their arrival. That made my parcel delay.
Last Friday they scheduled to pick up my parcel from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. I started to chase up the collection from 1:00 pm and sent about 20 emails. Eventually they told me they had re-schedule to next business day, when next Monday 14 Dec 2020. Today I started to chase my collection at around 8:00 am. There is no any attempt of collection. Terrible.
Did not pick up the parcel after 4 days. Kept promising the world but delivered nothing (literally). If you can use another provider, do. Avoid them at all costs.
The worst company to use. Not reliable also they have twice lost my package and are always late...
I'm very disappointed
Absolutely terrible customer service, no actual phone number to contact staff. 1-2 business days response is not acceptable for issues with pickups that need to be resolved that day. Absolutely inflexible staff to fix an issue after they did a no show with no notice and gave them 3 chances to resolve the issues. Taking my business to TNT direct or through a decent agent like Couriers and Freight that actually know what customer service is and have a phone number you can call. Just closed my account - good riddance!
I use Sendle a lot for my e-commerce business - they were added to Shopify which is my web platform. Items go missing all the time and I have to send customers replacement packages. Parcels are returned to us for no reason and I have to pay to send them out again. Customer support is email only and virtually non-existent. Missing items queries are quietly closed with no resolution. Very disatissfied.
Takes 6 days to deliver an envelope within Brisbane (5km door to door). Then 2 days before you can raise a complaint about it. Yep, 8 days + for an envelope to travel 5km.
The "manage my parcel" feature is a joke - it shows a cute lil truck driving driving driving for 8 days - there is no real information and the website basically says "don't contact us".
As obviously one could walk 5km in an hour, I don't know where that truck is going.
But I know I'll be going elsewhere anytime I have to send anything anywhere. Even Auspost is better.
"sendle" created on monday. Still hasn't been picked up to be shipped on the friday. Not very impressive at all. Tracking shows no date of estimated delivery. Aus post is considerably better and more transparent with their tracking information. Not to mention just faster. I'v had two packages of the same size sent on the same day from Sydney. One was with Aus post and is already here, and one with sendle that hasn't even been picked up yet. Seriously had I have known the retailer was going to ship with sendle I would have been discouraged to ever purchase.
3 parcels was picked up at the same time 7 December all of them was going to the same address, 2 of them lost, and 1 still not delivered, maybe lost too. They launched investigation after few email enquiry, in every single email they promise how customers important to them, they will improve their service. Another parcel picked up 2 December still not delivered, they launched investigation for this too. Hopeless! They just lost me like a customer, I will go to Australia post, more expensive, but at least I can talk with someone. Sendle doesn't have phone, only enquiry throw site. So if you want collapse ruin your business, this is way to go -use Sendle. I wish here will be minus 0 stars.
Background: I'm in the U.S. and I've never sent a package using Sendle, but I have a package ostensibly heading my way, and the shipper (I bought from her via Kidizen) used Sendle. The tracking is the worst I've ever seen. The United States is a large country, and in order for packages to move through the postal system here, they have to have a USPS tracking number. With that tracking number, you can see exactly where your package is, so that you know if it's making progress. You typically also can see an expected date of delivery. For some reason, this AWFUL third party service doesn't tell you where the package is. It updates and says "arrived USPS regional facility" or "departed USPS regional facility" but gives NO LOCATIONS WHATSOEVER. You honestly have to go out of your way to be this bad, considering the USPS tracking system makes this all a no-brainer. I'm on the east coast and for all I know, my package could be in Hawaii. This is the first and last time I'll buy on Kidizen, because I won't be subjecting myself to this incredibly poor excuse for a shipping service ever again.
My sister sent me a Shirt from Australia to India, and me, the receiver, in India was asked to pay 5000 INR - to receive a parcel containing a shirt worth $100 AUD.
And Sendle did not even inform the sender that this would happen. What a bunch of losers! Cheating customers in Australia. Scamming them well, I would say. Damn.
Parcel was out almost every day for a week, not picked up then stolen. Do not use this service! No insurance, No customer service, how are they allowed to operate on this system.
No relaible at all been waiting for 2 weeks to pick up my parcle no one turn up lie after lie

On their tracking site it dosnt move for ages then it changes to on board for delivery parcel still hasn't turned up.
I recently ordered a package and the courier used by the company was Sendle. Not only was the package sitting at the depot for almost 1 week despite being labeled as 'ready for delivery in the next delivery cycle' (they deliver every day Monday-Friday and this was a Tuesday it arrived at the depot), but when I emailed their support staff (who were also almost impossible to get a hold of, their website makes it extremely difficult to contact anyone and they don't have a phone number to speak to someone in person) they were also extremely unhelpful and palmed off the situation to other people with no one providing any form of answer or solution. Genuinely a terrible experience with them, so much so that the company that the parcel was from ended up sending me an email apologising for the experience.
I sent over 400 parcels with Sendle on a monthly basis. But now looking for a new company. They delay pick up constantly and it is bad for my company's reputation. The delay used to be 1 day. Now it is 2 days. I send in multiple feedback and support requests before but the replies are usual standard replies. We will look into this. It has been for 10 months. I'm disappointed with myself in allowing them to abuse me.
Delivered my parcel super quick, gave tracking information and updated it everyday, and dropped off the parcel with no issues. No damage, everything was perfect. 10/10 thank you Sendle :)
Nearly two weeks from Gold coast to Newcastle area, Austpost faster than these guys, tracking useless showed in transit from Sydney for a week, Newcastle is only two hours away? Unable to contact, everything automated replies. Do not use if want fast deliveries.
Ordered and paid for something on the 15th from Sydney to WA then was notified on the 16th it was posted. Did not get any updates until 1 week later and my package was still in Sydney 1 week after saying it's posted. Now it just says in transit from Sydney to Melbourne. Why does it even have to go through Melbourne and its been 11 days since it's supposed to have been posted but hasn't even travelled 800ks yet. Does this company transport their packages by foot or what?
Answer: Impossible. No phone contact at all. Email messages to Sendle support get scripted replies pointing to information on the website. A week of demands to escalate gets email contact from another employee who says all the same things as the first one.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
