I spent nearly the whole drive to a location out of state worrying that my pet was not allowed at the hotel I was traveling to because the pre-check link Reservation Desk wanted me to complete was totally incorrect on the information in the link. Then today I'm casually looking up hotels and the hotels amenities and many hotels use the site and the information they give is wrong.

I was charged a $17.99 fee for using their site. The site is false advertising because it claimed to be the hotel itself. My hotel charge was $140 for the room. The reservationdesk.com charged us over $230 because they said we were fitting a jacuzzi room. We paid extra for the jacuzzi room and when we checked into the hotel they informed us that they have no jacuzzi rooms. We asked for a partial refund for the jacuzzi we paid extra for. Reservationdeak.com said because the hotel offered to cancel our room they could not refund us for the extra we paid for the jacuzzi they offered us. It wasn't the hotels fault that reservation deak.com offered us the jacuzzi room so reservationdesk.com alshould have refunded us for the extra money they chatged us. We paid more than $100 extra compared to what we would have paid of we would have went through the hotel itself but we were misinformed because they made it seem like we were talking to the hotel itself. We feel like we got totally scammed.

I booked a room at the Rio Hotel & Casino. When I got there, the the front desk told me the Reservation Desk booked my room incorrectly. The Hotel Manager walked them through what happened and agreed to refund my money. I called the next day and was told that they were waiting on an email from the same manager they talked to the day prior to confirm the refund(which was already done) it is now 8 days since the check in day and I still haven't received a refund. I received an email stating that the hotel did not approve the refund which is not true because I heard it straight from the managers mouth. As of this review I'm currently on the phone with a extremely rude customer service rep. As I was explaining the situation, she cut me off and ask me "what can I help you with on this call?" After I tried to explain to her again she told me to "speak" like you would tell a dog. They literally took my money and are refusing to give me a refund because of their mistake and blaming it on the cancelation policy.

I chose to use Reservation Desk to secure an accessible room for my wheelchair bound Mother. I was repeatedly assured the accessible room was reserved as I requested; Roll in shower, elevated toilet, grab bars in the bathroom and a bed that is lower to the ground per the ADA guidelines which makes the bed 17" to 20" off the floor.
I was assured this room was reserved as stated above.
When we checked in, the only accessible option was a room for hearing impaired guests.
There was no bathroom accessible options or grab bars.
The hotel concierge showed the reservation as a room for hearing impaired persons.
I called Reservation Desk and reported this issue. I was told there would be a compensation for this issue.
To date, I have called three times since 4/27/25 to follow up regarding the "compensation." Each time I was told, " the case is being reviewed."
The last time I called was 5/8/25 regarding the compensation, again I was told "we are still working on it a will get back to you Sunday." That was 5/11/25.
I most likely will not receive compensation for this service failure and I will NEVER use Reservation Desk again for anything!
My Mother required two persons to aid in bathing and toileting. This was a very difficult hotel stay because of the in-accessibility of the room.
It was also too late to try to find a hotel with a true handicap accessible room.
Reservation Desk YOU ARE A FAILURE.
Never again!

In Sept we booked thru them 4 nights in Baltimore for in May. In February, we needed to cancel. We are still fighting to get our refund and it's May. The credit card shows they were paid. They say otherwise. Plus they won't cancel the reservation, say they "cant", and there is no payment to refund. Hmm. The fight isn't over.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Yesterday 05/12/2025 I called to book 3 rooms for a business trip. I was on the phone over 20 minutes customer service rep was very hard to understand. She finally finished up and rattled off a long speech. I asked her if that was for the 3 rooms she said no that was 1 room. I stated i needed 3 and that I had to be in a meeting shortly at 11:00 am. I was put on hold for and thought she had hung up on me. She came back on the phone gave me a confirmation number and gave me the motel number and said I would need to call the motel to book the other 2 rooms. I asked her if there would be rooms to book she stated yes there were 5 rooms. I called the front desk at the motel about 45 minutes later to be informed there were no rooms available for the needed dates, They had a few rooms on the week days but not the weekend I needed. They had been booked up except for the 1 room reservation desk reserved for me. She also told me my reservation had no phone number on it and no address even though I had spent over 20 minutes with reservation desk giving them the information. The front desk told me they could not cancel because it was booked through a 3rd party so call them and let them know she said to give me the refund. NOW THE FUN REALLY BEGINS (NOT) I call reservation desk and push the button to cancel. They cannot find my reservation because it is not connected to my telephone number (because 1st rep failed to put in a telephone number). I give her my reservation number and she tells me she will be happy to cancel with a charge of $151.00 and 17.99 for reservation fee. I stated I was not paying a cancellation fee because the lady who set it up had messed it all up and I needed 3 rooms. She was very hard to understand and I said that. She said well how can I help you if you don't understand me. I stated if she slowed down I could understand her. So she spoke overly exaggerated slow. I tried to explain what had happened when I called to make the reservation and that I just wanted a full refund. She began to explain the process again of having to put this in the system to be escalated and would take 7 business days. I asked to speak to a supervisor several times and never got one. She told me I need to be quiet and listen to her if I wanted her to process this for a refund. I was silent. She typed the email she was going to send and read it back to me I said no this is what happened. Then she stated let her retype it once again she read it and I said no this happened. She told me she would never get this done if I kept changing my story. I explained to her that I had tried to tell her this but she told me I needed to be quiet and listen to her. She then gave me information and read off my email address I said no. I have no idea where the first rep got that email address but it sure was not the one I gave her not even close. I asked again at the end for a supervisor I was put on hold and the told 1 would call me back. This cancellation reps name was Lia and she was rude. The rep that booked the room I do not know her name but she was incompetent. I have not received a call from a supervisor yet 05/13/2025. LIA SAID THE ESCALATION TEAM WOULD LISTEN TO THE RECORDING OF THE RESERVATION. I HOPE THEY LISTEN TO THE RECORDING OF THE CANCELLATION ALSO.

We had to leave our AirBnB late night due to safety concerns. I CALLED and booked a Holiday Inn -7474 W. Colonial drive in Orlando via Reservation Desk (third party) passed midnight on April 27 until check out the same day. We went to HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS and they said that they were completely full. I contacted Reservation Desk immediately! Reservation Desk WOULD NOT refund my money because authorization was needed by Holiday Inn Express. I spoke to management, Rashad at Holiday Inn Express and said they are not contracted with Reservation Desk. Reservation Desk will not refund my money and every customer service representative is giving me the run around. I have contacted Reservation Desk multiple times and all calls are recorded. Reservation Desk will not refund my $166 for booking a room that was not even available.

Scam alert

Reservation Counter or reservationdesk.com I booked two different hotels on different days asking for specific amenities. The sales person asked me what it was specifically that I was looking for. I gave him these specifications on both bookings, and he said both times "I can guarantee," and he used the word guarantee, "that you will have these amenities in this hotel."I contacted the hotel property and they said they absolutely do not have any of those amenities even though the sales person from this website said that they did and "guaranteed." Interestingly, there is a $17 service charge for each booking that they take through this company. They do not tell you that you will be charged a $17 fee even if you cancel the reservation. Therefore, that is how they make their money. They also do not refund your bank, as you get charged the full amount right away, for up to 10 days. So, if you make one booking one day and cancel it only to make another booking the next day and cancel it, you could possibly face $6000 to $8000 on your credit card that you will not have for up to 10 days. They do not ask you or tell you this when you are booking through them at the time. So number one, they lie because they do not know about the hotel property because I confirmed this lie with the hotel property. Number two, unless you know to ask the right questions, you do not know the underhandedness and misrepresentation of this company. Very frustrated that they now have my phone number, my address, and my credit card information. They say that once I cancel the reservation that none of this information stays with the company. Because they flat out lie, now I am afraid there is information kept on me in their system that could be used for identify theft, or misuse of my credit card information. Do not use this company!, otherwise buyer beware. They want to make the sale and at least guarantee $17 from every person that goes through their company, regardless of if they cancel or not

Nice place

Clean room. Nice, friendly staff. Family owned for 42 years. Breakfast was good. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, cereal, etc. Will definitely make this routine stop on our trips from now on. My service dog stayed for free. That was very nice of them.

I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT BOOK WITH RESERVATION DESK. They charged me twice for one booking. I have wasted countless hours trying to get them to resolve it. They still owe me more than a grand. It is third party companies all the way down. Starting to feel like a scam.

Professional liars

Agent lied about everything including the hidden fees and service charge. She even lied about the hotel having a pullout couch in the room. I had to book an additional room because my son did not have a bed to sleep on.

Read the fine print very carefully. I suggest you book any hotel directly from the hotel. Despite how this appears, this is NOT the hotel. No matter what, there is NO refund. That is how they make their money. We paid $500 for a hotel. We cancelled months in advance and they refused to refund our money. So, we paid for a hotel room we couldn't use and they got money they didn't earn. Run. Far. Away. From. This. Site.

My recent stay at Wyndam loop was plagued by multiple significant issues. Firstly, the room itself was in a state of disrepair. The dryer was broken and unusable, and the room door was concerningly damaged. Secondly, the service I received in the breakfast room was far below standard I waited an unreasonable amount of time for coffee and my requests were ignored there was attitude by the employees and they said they will speak with upper management and I'm still waiting. These combined factors made for a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and if you are staying is up to your own risk!

I reserved a room 7 months ago for my son's graduation. Family coming out so I reserved a suite, I did this 7 months ago for next weekend. Got a call today, one week before trip, and hotel is cancelling my reservation. I would never ever stay here if I was anybody who needed something guaranteed and that wasn't going to change last minute. Staff did not seem helpful to my situation. Just said they couldn't help me in any way.

I made reservations through them although at the time, I didn't know how I even contacted them. After my plans changed and I cancelled, they sent me an email saying I would be getting a refund in 3-10 business days and I still haven't. I have called and talked to 2 different people who say it will be coming and it still hasn't. They owe me 675.00! I am so upset. I can't afford to lose this money! I don't know what to do!

Worst company ever, made rez on 2/24/2025 for 2 night stay at a marriott in baltimore, md for April, 2025, after rez, was informed by hotel no dogs allowed, spoke with multiple rez agents, tried to escalate to senior customer service staff, never happened. Asked to cancel and get money back, one week after the reservation made, they told me no refund. I said then i will make other arrangements for my dog, and will stay at marriott that i already paid for, but when i arrived at hotel in may, hotel said my reservation was cancelled. Again not able to resolve, on phone for over 1 hour, multiple calls, no escalation. Reservation Desk is the worst company ever! Name of company is Reservation Desk

In my entire life time of traveling around the world, I've never experienced anything like this before! I arrive 2 hours early to check in and I'm being told that there's a $50 early check in which wasn't mentioned to me by the person who booked my room, he actually told me he would put in a note that we requested early check in but didn't specify the extra charge. Also, they have a parking fee of $15 which wasn't mentioned either. We are desperate because we still have to drive 30 min to the wedding we were attending that starts at 3 and here we are a bit after 1pm side blinded with extra fees I wasn't expecting. First of all, I booked the hotel room through the reservation desk by phone. Spoke to a live individual at the Marriott few minutes from this Courtyard Marriott/Montvale who booked me at this sister hotel a few minutes from them. The person at the reception desk was very rude after I said that was unacceptable as I wasn't aware of any early check in fees. Then she was confusing me saying that they didn't have anything available yet anyways but about 10 minutes later after we were about to get ready for the wedding in the public bathrooms downstairs, she said something just opened and knowing we were pressing for time, still insisted on charging us for that extra 75 minute early check in. Since I couldn't get a refund on the stay, nor did we have time to look anywhere else I just let he check us in so we can get ready. She made that stay so undesirable and unpleasant. This is not how you should do business and rude people don't have any business in this industry. Maybe she was having a bad day, and she made it very clear with the way we were treated at check in.

****DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY*****. THERE IS A 100% REASON Why there is a no refund policy on several accounts. I'm going to do everything in my power to see they never screw another consumer customer.
