Swindlers and thieves, Due to their lack of regulation and blacklisting, they would cause you to lose all of your money. I was able to escape the grips of this dishonest corporation by displaying my address in my avatar. I just made progress on my recovery by reaching out for help. I looked up Tag Security Recovery Limited Home on Google. Now that I get my money back, I'm glad to share my accomplishment and experience.

Let me start by saying they said they had a pool didn't tell me it was under maintenence and wouldn't be open thee night or morning I was staying. I checked in around 7 and by 8 called the front desk to get them to bring me a remote for the TV that was not in the room and a battery to stop the smoke detector. But 930 neither were taken care of so after 4 trips to the front desk I got a remote batteries didn't seem to work in the detector to stop the beeping. They finally made it up to my room about 1030 to look at it. Looked at it didn't know what was wrong said they would come right back and never did no follow up no room change. So I couldn't sleep with the beeping. Walking into the hall smelled horrible of trash. Large amounts of trash bags in the hall that sat most of the night then when"taken out" had leaked all over the floor making the smell worse and floor sticky. I had my kid and dog with me neither slept and my dog had anxiety due to the detector beeping. Horrible horrible service.

Worst service ever

I've trid to book an hotel roomn on this website. Everything went wrong, the guy was barely able to speak english he never have been able to take my email correctly. So long story short I nebver receied any confirmation number. I called back the next to postpone my reservation for one night and at this e3xact point, everything wen't worst he told me that he was not able to postpone it and asked me to call directly at the hotel. Calling at the hotel, the guy told me that there was no reservation at my name and did one for me. It took 5 minutes and everything was done for the half of the $#*!ing price. This morning I saw a charge of 380$ on my credit card so I caller these idiots back after asking multiple of dumb questions they told me that there was no reservation at my name and that I SHOULD see a refund.

I reserved 2 adjoining rooms. When we arrived they only had me down for 1 room. While they gave us a second room, they were not adjoining. Because of kids this wasn't convenient at all. Unfortunately, the room I received felt very dirty because of the HUGE stain on the carpet. Thank goodness I had my slippers. The manager called the next day apologizing for the mix up on the rooms and said one of the rooms would be free of charge. It's been a month and I still haven't gotten my money back. I'll definitely go elsewhere next time. Beware the ask for proof of purchase although giving a itinerary #. I'm so done. That's what an itinerary # is fore DUH! And you have create an account for your review to be seen Now I'm MAD - AGAIN!

Overbooked

We reserved a jacuzzi king room 3 weeks ahead. Check in was at 3pm. Paid $230 arrived at 430pm was told they did not have our room it was given to another customer because they had a problem in the room they had. Was told could be given an another when we agreed we had to wait longer was put in a double queen with broken mirror it was 530 causing us to be late for our plans we made. Hall outside the room smelt like sewer The breakfast that is provided was only bread,bagels,orange juice and coffee. Was definitely not worth the stay.

We traveled 187 miles from home. We had a reservation and get to the hotel and Adele said there are NO ROOMS. She was no help whatsoever. Adele you were no help. I am leaving one start because zero was not an option. Beware when booking this hotel.

I made a reservation for 11 nights. A medical situation happened almost immediately afterwards and I had to cancel my reservation. I called back, the lady I spoke with to told me it was nonrefundable. I said that wasn't acceptable and asked for her manager. She said she can contact the hotel and if they say it's OK to cancel then she can cancel. I stayed on the line she contacted them. She came back on and said it was cancelled and I would see the credit on my card in up to seven business days, which didn't sound right to me, but I said OK. She said she will email me the cancellation. I never received the email. I called the hotel and the reservation is still active. I have tried to reach out twice today to speak to somebody about cancelling now I'm waiting for a call back. I'm so disappointed and I will never use this service again and I do not recommend it. The person I spoke to had to take my name down several times, because she couldn't get it right. Obviously she took my email down wrong because I never received a cancellation email. Someone from Expedia contacted me to confirm that I had made this reservation because it was for 11 days and the cost was significant. I explained that I had cancelled it. He confirmed that it was active. He said that he could not cancel it for me. I would have to reach out to reservation desk, but he did note that the email address they had down for me was. Extremely extremely disappointing and very stressful. I'm still waiting for a callback.

The hotel itself was clean and overall good quality. We just ran into a huge mess when the room we paid for and expected by calling the number that the website only gives you to call goes to reservation desk. The lady on there confirmed with us we would be getting a suite room. A room with two double beds and a pull out couch. When we arrived that is not what we got. The guy at the front desk was as helpful as he could be but couldn't do anything about the way over charged price for a basic room since we didn't book through them. Even though there was no other number to call since it goes directly to the reservation desk and we would have to work with them to get reimbursed. So we had to get charged and pay for another basic room. With that being said we were charged more than double for the two rooms. Reservation desk will not give our money difference back since we used the reservation even though what we verbally agreed too over the phone and paid for was not what we got when we got there. We only got a room with 2 double beds. And were charged almost double each night for that. All I was asking for was a refund for the difference in price from a suite room (we should have gotten, but didn't) and the basic room we got. I would highly recommend double and triple checking what you are paying for and who you are talking to before moving forward with booking with this location. We ended up paying for two basic rooms for two nights, at a extremely high rate. The sad part is the only reason we called was because we had a business trip and were bringing our two little kids with so we brought babysitters and wanted a suite so they could all be in the same room after kids when to sleep. The business company for work was offering a special with this hotel for rooms, which would have cost the same amount as the suite we booked in the first place. So if we went with booking with our business company offer we could have got the two basic rooms at a discount price of $800. We were scammed into a room we thought would be a suite and then told we were lying since we agreed to the confirmation and couldn't be refunded the difference. Nightly rates of the basic rooms here go anywhere from $200-$300 a night and booking.com charged us for the the basic room almost $500 a night and then we had to pay again for another room when we got there. The room stated during the confirmation phone call was that it would be two double beds and a pull out couch and we confirmed that's what we wanted. The confirmation email sent to us was also verified on that phone call that it was correctly booked and we were told it was. We are very ashamed with the way this situation was handled and how we were blamed for their actions to overcharge for a room we didn't agree too. They ruined our weekend by taking the money we had brought after already paying for a room for the activities to at the mall with the kids. They caused a hassle at the front desk for over an hour so they could get two rooms by each other for us. If they would have just booked the suite like we agreed upon in the first place, the rating and experience would have been higher. Sad that companies are getting away with doing things like this.

I tried to cancel my reservation within 30 minutes of making it and they said it was non-refundable. This is ridiculous. Not only am I never booking with Reservation Desk, but I'm never booking with Luxor again.

Disgusting company
February 25, 2025

This company is the most scummy, disgusting company I've ever had to deal with. They booked me in a different city and won't let me change the reservation when the reason I booked a certain hotel was to be close to the hospital as I am due to give birth to my son who has multiple severe congenital heart defects. On top of that, when booking I told the agent I get a discount because I'm meant to be at the Ronald McDonald house but they're at full capacity, the agent said that gets dealt with at check in which is just incorrect. The lack of discount is annoying but we would've still stayed at the hotel given it was the right location. It is sick what these companies get away with and how little they want to help. I hope this company fails as everyone who works for it is just as scummy as the people who put the "rules and regulations" in place.

This company lies, is mainpulative and uses pressure tatics. They led me to believe I was talking to the hotel chain I made a resevation with, told me I didn't have a reservation (a couple hours before I was supposed to check in) and and said booking errors were common. They then said there was only one room left to pressure me and if I didn't rebook with them there was no gaurantee that I would have a room to stay if I didn't make a new reservation. They assured me that since there was no record of my first reservation at the hotel, I would get my money back from the 1st booking (which I did not). When I finally agreed to make the second booking, the price had gone up. Then the final dollar amount was a fair amount higher than I expected. I assumed it was due to service fees and was feeling pressured that if I didn't book now, I'd be sleeping outside int the cold. In the end when they tried to put the reservation through it wouldn't go through in Canadian dollars (which they said was common because it was the last room--I should have known they were lying) so they put it through in USD. The agent assured me it was the exact same amount I was quoted in Canadian dollars. When I got off the phone and did the math, when it was actually almost &100 CAD extra. I called back immediately to complain. After "Escalating the issue" with the company I was imformed that since I was told how much it was going to be in USD I wouldn't get and money back even though they lied about the conversion. At the end of the day I ended up having 2 bookings at my hotel and paid double the price with the reservation desk than I paid before. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Poor Public Relations

After making an online reservation through a booking agent. We arrived at the hotel to find every detail of our reservation was incorrect, date, # of guests and bed. We admittedly made the mistake of not reviewing the confirmation emailed to us. The unpleasant experience was the response of the manager. No compensation and no interest in our business.

Absolute complaint

We rented a room with two beds, but one of the beds was not remade from the former occupant. The girl at the front desk was very helpful in getting us new sheets during the evening hours. We commend her highly. The room itself provided all that was advertised, but extremely dirty, including cobwebs and debris along the floor, insects, dust and dirt. A wicker basket held what was supposed to be clean wash cloths, but the wicker was so full of dirt we did not use them. The lamps did not work because they were not plugged in. We had to use a personal extension cord to accomplish that. There is no way we would stay here again, even if it was free. We highly commend all personnel we encountered, but the room itself was filthy. The dirtiest motel we've ever been in.

Hidden 17.99 fee

There was no direct phone number to call the hotel to ask if all rooms were dog friendly… I called the only associated number with the property(reservation desk)
I could have saved myself a lot more if I just booked through Expedia like I had planned. Paid more money and should have just showed up to the property with my dog.Waste of time unless you are incompetent and don't know how to reserve online

I get an e-mail that our reservations has been canceled just 3 days before we are to go on our trip. Made the reservation over a month in advance. E-mail stated no reason, called customer service, they were no help. Called their Corporate number after being on the phone with someone, they dropped the call and never called back. Very poor Customer Service to their Rewards Program Customer. Now with only 3 days left, I have to find another hotel at probably a higher rate due to time remaining.

I would give no stars if the website would allow me. I booked a hotel in Canada and this looked like their reservation site. Turns out it is a third party. The website quoted the rate in Canadian $. When the reservation was completed the charge was in US$ and it was charged to my card costing an extra $60 for 1 night. To cancel they retain a 30% fee until 2 days before or 100% cancellation after that. I have sent many emails to get the correction made and now they won't even send a reply. I have phoned them 3 times with no satisfaction. I have talked to my credit card company but they won't do anything unless I file a grievance which costs me more money for postage, time, etc. I talked directly to the hotel manager who was cordial and phoned to try get it straightened out. He said what I was charged was more than any of their rooms cost but really couldn't do anything because this is a third party reservation but makes it seem like the direct hotel reservation desk. This hotel is in Canada, I'm in Canada, prices were quoted in Canadian $ and they switch to US $ and won't acknowledge a mistake or correct it

Don't do it

Reservationdesk told me that I was speaking with the actual hotel which was not true. I found out when they sent me the confirmation email that said Reservationdesk.com. They told my price included All Inclusive and it didn't I now have to pay an additional $432. I found out when I called the actual hotel which is Emporio Cancun. Emporio also told me that Reservationdesk book my room thru Expedia.com which I could have did myself or not because a I specifically want All Inclusive.

My stay was December 30th, 2024, but this review would not let me add a date less than Jan. 1,2025.
Had to use paper clips to hold curtain closed. They use a top sheet for bottom sheet. Kept coming out & then mattress cover would be all lumpy. Pillow filling all bundled up in balls inside pillows. Assistant manager very rude. Rm needs upgraded & clean. No lamps. Dark dungy, Scarey outside walkway between the 2 buildings to walk to room. Don't phone number on top of ad cause you don't get any medical rate at all. Motel would not give me the medical rate when they advertise it. No continental breakfast at all. I wouldn't of ate there anyways. Yuck. Use to stay there years ago when grandchildren were born in Kamloops hospital. Was way better. That was 18 yrs ago. Now a dive. So sad 😢. DO NOT BOOK HERE!
