We had a last minute family emergency and had to push our reservation off by one day. With 7 days advance notice i didn't think it would be an issue. BUT much to my disappointment i lost the ENTIRE amount of the hotel cost PLUS the Reservation Desk admin fee. They were not willing to change by one day. I could appreciate paying another admin fee for their efforts but i was told that the reservation was "locked in" and couldn't be changed. I called the hotel directly, SAVED over $25 on the reservation and got a room for the next night. I will never use this service again, nor will i recommend it to any of my friends and family who frequent hotels often.

Ripped off
March 8, 2022

Booked a room reservation on a web site that was the name of the resort. Com. Was quoted a price of $388.00 received a receipt that I didn't look at until check in. Was charged $559.00. Was told the room would be ocean front, it wasn't. Told there was no resort fee there was. They did a great job of ruining our 1 nite away every 2 years. This website should be removed and Expedia should not be there vessel. Web Alohalaniresort. Com. I hope karma bites them on the rear end!

Omg horrible

Customer service doesn't speak English clearly, spelled my name wrong and charged me twice as much as the room actually cost. I got the invoice from hotel that shows me what they were suppose to charge me. I'll be getting in bank and lawyer involved!

We had a situation happen 2 different times. 1 time water from above our room had water come down. The 2 ND time it happened myself & grandson were having lunch when once again water splashed down on us & ruined our $50.00 lunch & called front desk moved us. We ended up staying a few extra days & asked the General Manager if maybe give us $20.00 off each room for the situation of our meal being ruined due to water situation & Very IGNORANT & UNPROFESIONAL SAID NO. WE moved you rooms that's all you get. SHE wouldn't even try to APOLOGIZE or even ask if they could replace our meal. SHE was just down right IGNORANT about the whole situation.

Did not receive what was paid for
February 24, 2022

I made a reservation for 2 rooms for 2 nights and was charged for that amount. When I arrived at the hotel, they only had one room booked (through Priceline) and we had to book another room for our guest. I have tried several times, providing names and confirmation numbers from the hotel staff, and Reservation Desk is still refusing to refund the amount of the 2nd room for 2 nights.

To start off we tried calling the actual motel and got redirected to this crap service. After telling us a price of 118$ would be our charge and pushing the payment thru the MasterCard. He then proceeded to tell us how he got us an amazing deal BC all the other rooms at the time have been fully booked... When arriving to the motel I later found out we were the only occupants and that they actually booked a room for 89 $. I suggest not using this crap company and actually walking into the motel your choosing to stay. No refund was given and basically got told to go f our selves

This reservation service is fraudulent. It makes you pay all fees (higher than posted at the hotel) upfront, and will not refund any cancellations. I would never use this service again.

Horrible beware

Awful! I had made reservations which I thought was at a specific hotel when I called hotel they had no record of my reservations. They told me I booked through a third party which I had no idea I did. I called the 1-800 number and they couldn't even tell me what hotel I had booked. I have no hotel reservations for an upcoming trip. Do not use them!

Rip Off

I ordered a room for 7 days through them. They charged $147 just for their fees plus another $12.99 for the reservation fee. Just call the hotel to book your reservations do not go through this company it is a rip off. Over $200 more than what the hotel would charge if you call directly

We made reservation for ourselves and for our brother and his wife months in advance. Location and the "FREE" airport shuttle were the sole reasons we chose this Days Inn.

They use a CONTRACTOR for the shuttle service. We did NOT know this and it is important for you to know that they do not give a hoot if the contractor or the reservation desk gets your phone number wrong. We were stranded in the heat, at night, for over an hour. It tool multiple phone calls tot eh reservation desk AT THE HOTEL to finally figure out the shuttle driver had our phone number incorrect.

Each blamed the other. BOTH were responsible! The night lady at the hotel apparently wrote my phone number down correctly. Whether or not she read it correctly to the shuttle dispatcher we do NOT KNOW. What we do know is, she is NOT TRAINED properly to ALWAYS have the dispatcher repeat the number back to assure he/she got it correctly. What we do know from the driver, who said he called the (wrong) number seven times, is he was NOT trained correctly to call back tot eh hotel after the FIRST ATTEMPT to verify my phone number.

What we do know is that the night manger at the Days Inn did not give a damn. He was very offensive. To add insult to injury, he charged us an extra two dollars due to how we booked the stay. At a minimum, he should have franked or one night stay.

I will be sending this review to the CEO of Wyndham Hotels Geoffrey A. Ballotti to make sure THEY know about this experience.

For those traveling by car, it is a nice enough place to stay but beware of the night manager if you wre to have any problems.

SCAMMERS! Beware

Beware! This is a 3rd party company who tricks you into thinking they are the hotels "Reservation Desk" when answering the phone. There customer service is non-existent, they'll take your money no matter how much you fight with them for a refund/credit. They make you jump through many obstacles (I've sent 5 emails already) one asks for a Supervisor and you get someone who "acts" as if he was one but just doesn't care (Jonathan & Travis).
TIP: When calling for a hotel reservation make sure the call is answered as the hotel reservation desk i. E. "Holiday Inn reservation desk". NOT "Reservation Desk." ask if your not sure but DON'T give them the hotel name when asking i. E is this the "Holiday Inn reservation desk" they'll say "yes". You ask them "what hotel is this the reservation desk for". Money is tight these days make sure you hang on to yours and not give it to scammers such as Reservation Desk.

Terrible company

Thought I was calling the hotel, price went up $100 while on the phone call, didn't get a confirmation until later (because they supposedly wrote down my email wrong - but likely didn't want me to see their outrageous policy while I was on the phone). Only after did I see that they take money upfront and don't refund under any circumstances. When I tried calling to amend the reservation as I realized they were a third party and not affiliated with the hotel they were completely unwilling to work with me. Absolutely brutal experience.

Based on my experience, "Reservation Desk.com" is a very deceptive website for making reservations at motels/hotels. To make my reservation, I dialed a number that I thought was the hotel; a booking agent answered the phone with the response "Reservation Desk" (I thought this was the reservation desk at the hotel). He required lots of information that was already available on the Choice Priveleges Website and then completed my reservation. The booking agent said he was saving me $30.00 to $40.00 on the reservation, but never mentioned the fact that I would be charged $15.00 for this service.

As it turned out, if I had gotten the Choice Hotel's reservation service desk, I could have gotten a price that was almost exactly the same as "Bargain Price" the "Reservation Desk" agent got for me without paying the booking service a $15.00 booking charge!

Booking a room with this company was totally my mistake. Certainly, I will avoid the "Reservation Desk" Booking Service in the future. My review is written to help other travelers avoid my mistake.

If you want to book your own reservations, be careful to avoid "Reservation Desk." If you need assistance in making reservations and are willing to pay an additional fee (for me, it was about $18.00 for a one-night stay at a hotel that cost about $110.00), then you may find booking services such as "Reservation Desk" to be helpful.

Deceptive meets incompetent
November 29, 2021

I didn't even know I wasn't dealing directly with Marriott. I saw "Reservation Desk," but figured that meant I was on Marriott's page for reserving rooms. I feel this was deceptive.
So, I put in that I wanted to arrive Nov. 25 and leave Nov. 27. The algorithms did their bit, and the page informed me that I had successfully booked from Nov. 25 to Nov. 26. I called the number given to ask that the night of the 26th be added to my reservation. I got a nice man with a thick Indian accent who told me that couldn't be done, and I could book the night of the 26th, but not in the same room. He then booked me for the night of the 26th.
I asked for the phone number of the hotel itself, was given a number, hung up with him, and called the number--to confirm that I had the booking, because I wasn't very confident. I got the FAX squeal. After more fumbling around, I found the correct number and called it. The desk clerk told me that I was booked for two nights--in the same room.
I said, "But this guy I just talked to said I was in a different room each night." The desk clerk (who was clearly filing me under "crazy stupid woman") said I was in the same room. Meanwhile, I received two emails, one per room / reservation, and at different prices. I am not sure what will happen when I actually get to the hotel. Plus, I got charged an extra $14.99, for the privilege of booking a Marriott room from a non-Marriott intermediary.
Today, I got a "tell us about your experience with Reservation Desk" email. I gave them a 1 out of 10 rating, and wrote a description in full of my miserable experience. I couldn't submit my responses, though, because "your comment cannot be longer than 255 characters." So I trimmed it down to 245 characters, and got the same message. I tried again with 55 words, and got the same message. Presumably this is because I'd checked 1 out of 10 for both their survey questions. Which means that Reservation Desk's ratings may look good but have been rigged.
This was a terrible experience, and what I have learned from it is to NEVER BOOK THROUGH RESERVATION DESK AGAIN.

Escalated a refund, never received. Entire call, a dog barking on the background. Never received a refund for stay where the Quality Inn Suites in Meriden CT, 10/2021. The hotel reeked tobacco 2nd floor. The front desk person was extremely rude. Please stay away from using this service or this hotel.

Do not use this site! Showed up to hotel and they never received the reservation or payment for our room. Customer service is a sham. They stated they called and emailed the hotel. We checked everyday while at the hotel which we had to pay for a second time. They continuously lied stated they verified with hotel while we were standing at the front desk!

Refund refused
October 4, 2021

Five months ago I was trying to contact Hotel Paramount in Manhattan to reserve a room with 2 beds for 3 nights in January 2022. Somehow the search engine detoured me to reservation desk, a third party agent that pretends to be located at the hotel. They charged me $321.33 plus a $14.99 booking fee. Then they sent me a confirmation for a room with only one bed so I cancelled but the changes appeared on my next credit card bill. When I called reservation desk I was told It was impossible to give me a refund, give me the reservation back or speak to a supervisor.
I filed a dispute with my credit card company and got a conditional credit but they somehow got it reversed and declared a valid charge.
Meanwhile the Paramount has cancelled all reservations for the dates I plan to visit because they will be closed for renovations.
So I'm out $321 for a vacation I haven't taken yet for the wrong room in a hotel that will be closed!

Surprised and disappointed.

My fault for searching for hotel and thinking reservation desk.com was connected to my hotel. Nothing during booking conversation seemed to say I was with different company. Anyway, during my stay the hotel the hotel offered my team an extra discount for multiple bookings. Calling reservationdesk customer service was painfully long and there policy apparently states they are going to keep my discount. Tell a friend, stay away from site for Benjamin and Brothers LLC. Clancy.

Shady Scammers!

I specifically asked for accommodations for our 3 dogs on the ground floor. The sales person put it in her notes & read it back to me. Immediately after the transaction, I called the hotel directly to confirm & the manager said no pets. I told him the situation & he told me to call the booking agent back which I immediately did--all of this took place in less than 10 minutes. When I tried to cancel the reservation, the agent said they would "look into it." It is now 2 months later & even my bank cannot resolve the issue. I called the hotel more than once & they said they never received compensation for the room.
