I rented a car through Carla showed up and no car. And now they will not issue me a run fund and just have 400$ in credit with them. I never want to use them again and they will not refund me
Had to cancel my reservation but wasn't given a refund. I contacted the company and she gave me a credit with the company. She didn't have to because there was a no refund policy. Thank you.
I rented a Santa Fe with Carla last week and my trip was perfect! I got a great deal booked in advance and paid full. The rental and pick-up process was very easy and took only a few seconds to get my confirmation.
Found a great deal on this website! They had great rates in LV. I found a great deal for a Jetta. Highly recommended!
I did not recommend going to Carla even if you cancel a reservation it doesn't fall through they still take $20 out of your debit card it might say something like that their policy but if a service is not rendered they should not be paid so therefore I would not use the service to rent a car
Rented with them in the DR. They refused to give us the car and wanted more money. After much debating on a car we paid in full for ($346), they still refused us a car and wanted $61 more a day and $700 to actually get the car. So we never got the rental and now they're refusing the deposit.
Worst company the still money from you! The place was close had to rent some were else we were stranded in de airport
Okay, the app was easy and everything, but when we had a problem and had to contact Carla, that's when the problems began. To get customer support, you have to use the app to open a "ticket". The good people at Carla respond to the "ticket" by email when the mood strikes them, which in my case was days later when I threatened to dispute the credit card charge. Finally, responding to my "ticket" moved up on their to-do list. And yet, after exchanging a few brief emails in which they told me I had to deal with the rental car company, I began to wonder why I had even used the app in the first place. Why outsource your car rental to a third party company that provides zero customer support and simply points you back to the rental company with any issues? There is no telephone number, no web chat, nothing but a rude email a few days after the fact. Skip the middleman, or at least choose one that wants to earn your business.
Was charged 103.00 for nothing. Went to the place they sent me to. No cars available. Asked for refund no refund issued. Please please stay away from this company they are beating people out of their money
I agreed to payment with their "rainy day" protection but when I tried to cancel the rental 10 minutes later they wouldn't give me the full refund despite the fact that it said I would be able to get the refund with the purchase of their extra rainy day fee. Their customer care is also very non-responsive and not helpful. If you have ANY possibility of canceling the rental do yourself a favor and do not book with them. They will not refund your money and will only give partial store credit that will expire in 18 months. I am very unsatisfied with their app and services.

I gave it at least one star because the app was easy to use. However when you type in the information what you get can be misleading. I wanted to rent a car at Cleveland Hopkins airport. They showed me a four day rental for a Toyota Corolla for $139. That sounded great and I went for it. There was a small reservation fee of around $25. When I finally got more of the information about the rental, I discovered that they were sending me to rent a wreck not even close to the airport. So not knowing what I would get, With this type of thing I canceled my reservation. So even though it was a small loss, I can imagine if you have a few thousand people do this like I did it would add up for them
Answer: Total scam. I've reported them to the BBB, The Federal Trade Commision and The Attorney Generals Office in the state their located in, in an attempt to get my money back.Good luck. Run the other way while you can.
Answer: Never use these people, carla.com. If you gave then the reservation fee I hope you can get it back. They took my money and never sent the reservation. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commision, and The Attorney Generals Office.
