Absolutly Awfull Site
December 13, 2015

Filtering properties is a fundamental when trying to sort properties. The new web site makes it impossible to quickly refine your search. I dare say the thought process was that it would force you to look at more properties (read earn more revenue).

Just puts me off using the site, what an absolute waste of money

New Format Is Useless
December 12, 2015

The new format is useless because filters are limited. Takes way too long to weed through properties and way too many ads. Can someone tell me why the site was changed. I will be using other sites for searches.

A quick, accurate search for specific needs. Most filters have been removed, can no longer search for garages, multi story, and have to end up looking through tons of properties that aren't on your wish list. Go back to the "old" search options as they were much more thorough.

After the Realtor.com re-design I find the website nearly useless. I buy multi-family homes and would use Realtor to see what was new on the market. I could see if the property was a 2,3, or 4 unit and also the monthly rent for each unit. That info has now disappeared. If a property met my basic criteria, I would call the listing agent to get more info, thereby generating a legitimate lead. I suppose it's designed to create more leads for agents but I predict that agents will now receive more phone calls with less results, thereby wasting everyone's time.

Every few months it seems they try to change realtor.com. I was going to use the word "improve" but I see nothing but it becoming less user friendly. I don't get it. I have been a pretty avid user of the site for the past 3 years but today decided to shift to other sites. They removed many of the filters which allow you to narrow your search, the arrow back to search results takes you to the top of the page rather than the last house you looked at, and the "show how many properties by page, 10, 15, 50) doesn't work properly. Sorry realtor.com, you lost a user today.

I had been trying to get my elderly mother to sell her home and move the 5 hours north closer to me so I could check on her and still keep up with my family. She finally decided she would move from the big city and thanks to Albert Martinez, mom is with me and the process was very quick thanks to Albert going the extra mile to keep me posted and help my mother to know what the process would be. Thank you very much Albert!

AGENTS - DONT BE FOOLED!
December 2, 2015

As the other review on here, I was guaranteed 4 leads per month - 48 a year. I am not receiving those leads and literally everything I get is mobile home leads. I cannot sell mobile homes! That requires another license. I had called and emailed complaints months ago already and never heard back from anybody! I called realtor.com today and was forwarded to the "decision making manager" who was incredibly arrogant. I was told I need to give it time and that I yet not understand the benefits of realtor.com (after paying $250 a month for half a year!). He also said he used to be a realtor and is not aware that I cannot sell mobile homes. He continued the mobile homes were expensive (I got leads between 48k-78k) and that I shouldn't complain. Even if it would sell for $900k - I DO NOT HAVE A MOBILE HOME LICENSE. He refused to cancel my subscription, knowing how upset I was with Realtor.com and that I will not run around telling everyone to sign up. The so called "manager", Joe Brown, also said that I only implied that the leads were guaranteed. I have a full page of notes before I signed up with them - there are plenty of numbers on there the first agent through at me over the phone to get to me to sign up. I was at awe at the lack of professionalism of Realtor.com and call their advertising misleading if not even fraudulent (since apparently I was lied to!).

Our realtor in purchasing our home was Royce Stringer. We put this poor man through more than any realtor should have to endure. He smiled, laughed, and remained perfectly professional through it all. Three contracts on three houses within a month. Had to cancel the first two due to undisclosed situations with each property. The third one was our "meant to be" house though, and we have been in it for almost a month now. Royce is as accommodating as a realtor can be. Great communication, prompt action on addressing issues, and a skillful negotiator. Highly, highly recommend.

Beware of their monotone put you to sleep reading of the terms. They have been withdrawing funds from my account without my consent - $2,295.75 in five $459.15 withdrawals.

A salesperson named Ali Hosseini contacted me about a lead generation service for realtors. He sounded very good and I consented to give them a try for a month. I gave him my debit card in exchange of 8 leads that I was going to receive for the month. Shortly after I did not receive any leads and I started contacting the salesperson and
realtor.com to no avail. Despite to not having a contract, the billing kept on recurring and the amount of leads promised not delivered. It was a scam.

An "Account Specialist" named Joe Brown contacted me told me that I signed a 12 month contract which I never did and that they are not obligated to give me any number of leads - just leads. He said he could not credit me for the lack of leads, and that the billing will continue. I had to call my credit card and close it, and dispute the charges. Unfortunately they can only go 3 billing cycles back.

Overall, I received 22 leads in a 5 month period. I was paying for 40 and I should have received 40. They refused to credit me any money, and refused to discontinue charging my credit card.

The qualify of the leads was horrendous. They may be inclined to tell you that the agents that complain are not good agents. I have been the #1 RE/MAX agent in Florida in 2010 and 2014, and #1 in Broward County for 2012. I am a pretty good agent however, I did not even meet a single prospect let alone close one.

Rating of less then 1 Star
DO NOT sign up to ANY lead generating agreement with this company. If you have gone through what I call the 6 month hook period be very careful when its time to renew. They double your term by telling you for the increase in monthly cost they are going to double your leads... NOT, the number of leads is double because it is now over a 12 month period.
IN ADDITION - THEY WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL - I REPEAT, THEY WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL!

Why did they change it?
November 17, 2015

I am now unable to select even basic features in my home search which means I'm wading through dozens of homes that don't meet my needs. Why would they eliminate basic things like the fact that I want a single story home or a three car garage? This "update" makes the site USELESS to me as a potential buyer.

This site has been created for the consumer and if you are an agent looking for leads PASS on this site. They will promise you many "quality" leads but in reality the way it works is that anyone just poking around on the site can be directed to you. Your leads will be from mostly "looky loos" and people looking for the cheapest homes in your market. They generally can not be contacted and if you can make connection they will tell you they are just looking. And don't want to be bothered. The consumers might be OK looking here but for agents looking for leads it is a total waste of money. You can pass on this site.

Realtor lead web scam
November 5, 2015

I signed up with Realtor.com in July and was told I could expect 36-48 leads over the year for each zip code purchased. About 280 a month. Since I signed up, I have received 14 leads in 3 and half months that were not realtors. I spoke with their "customer retention manager" I think his name was Anwar or something like that and told him I want to cancel my account. He became belligerent and told me he would not do anything of the kind. When I asked for his supervisor I was told by him that he was in charge. Evidently the Realor.com customer retention department is designed to intimidate, tell half truths and to keep you money coming in at all costs. IF YOU ARE REALTOR, DON'T SIGN UP WITH THESE GUYS, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN TRY TO JUSTIFY THEIR PERFORMANCE. Can't see how they survive except through gullible people like me.

Beaware. Agents reduce price and post it as a new listing or if a house sells for a much lower price than listed price, they pull the listing out and won't enter sold price even after closing. Data shown on Realtor.com should not be trusted as it favors realtors and is not based on facts. Not sure why agents are allowed to do the wrong thing or not enter the factual information.

Don't waste your money! I was pitched the service by Erica Matteson *******532 with lots of promises including "working with me" if the leads weren't good. However, after 3 months and over $1500 spent, they are not working with me at all and are not letting me cancel. When I call, they simply route me to one sales person after the other. They try delay and stall tactics. Mickey Korac *******878 is also assigned to my account. He refuses to help, or allow me to cancel, and is always very rude and condescending. I've asked for a supervisor or manager who can cancel, and so far, nothing has happened. I bought leads in an area with an $800k average sales price, but every one of the "leads" has been for mobile homes under $50k. They say the leads are distributed in a "round robin" method, but that's clearly not true. Either realtor.com is only attracting mobile home buyers, or they are scamming me. I plan on filling a complaint with the BBB now.

From perusing a few reviews I can see that the site is not favored among realtors. From a potential buyer's point of view, it's not good either. I just want to search for houses that fit my criteria and are in my price range. No matter how I set up and save the search filters, it still shows me homes that are nowhere near what I'm looking for and even emails me suggestions that are not in my price range that have any of the important features I'm looking for. Unlike Zillow, I can only search for one city at a time. I signed up hoping to find listings that I might not have found elsewhere, but it's not worth it. The site is completely inferior to any of the other sites I've tried. I feel sorry for the realtors who got sucked into this one.

Gabriel Tavarez of Rebound properties is a constant artist, i am 82 years old and he took my listing and held my home hostage for two months. He wanted to buy it for his friend and still collect a commission and still he tried to cut off another 20,000$ off my price, made fake offers and then forgot them, refused to market my property on mls for most of the 2 months 9 days in a row with no leads except his offer which I didn't want and he was so upset, rude, sarcastic and cold to me. In all my life I've never been treated this way. He will seem very honest but he is a Wolf in sheep's clothing and will probably lose his licence. He threatened to sue me for a fee because he couldn't get his buyer to go ahead with his deal and i wanted to go with another agency even after our listing expired he wouldn't change the mls status. Cold, scammers..
