Purolator is a nightmare and they are bad for business. Use them if you don't need your package in a year and just have money to throw away.
They had input a wrong delivery address to my shipment, noticed immediately I received shipment details and notify them of the error. After a whole week, they didn't update the change in two different sorting facility and the shipment still went to the wrong address.
As if that wasn't enough headache, they have the worst customer service I have seen in my life. While an angry customer should be the one yelling, there Service agent was the one ranting and yelling at me on the phone. I wish I could give Zero (0) rating to this deadass piece of $#*!
There was absolutely never a package delivered to my door. I always have to pick up personally, every time! I will cancel any order by Purolator.
Worst experience yet in my life in regards to a shipping company. Everything from the tracking updates, the actual time taken to deliver, trying to find anything out regarding your shipment only to be tortured by the most horrible customer service setup on the planet. Both online chat sessions and waiting forever for a telephone agent. It's all just atrocious. I'd love to play that same waiting on hold song to the CEO and let them listen to it over and over and over and over again until they loose their minds too. Try hiring some people to take the calls or just close the business.
They will invent any and all excuses to not deliver your package when they don't feel like it. Inacessible, address not found, attempted etc. Well excuse me, customers are not all 3 year olds. I have CCTV and there is absolutely no attempt. My address has existed for more than 40 years, I've received packages regularly from other carriers, "not found"? Perhaps they might have heard of something called the Internet and google maps gps? I heard it's coming soon to Purolator.
Get real, people. The drivers get paid to eat donuts and drink coffee: they can find them easily without the internet.
I dont even know where to start when it comes to my experience with Purolator right now. I went to pick up my package at the depot and they said someone already picked it up to which I replied its impossible because I am the only one living where I live. The employee or the manager didn't seem to care about anything. I asked if there's other packages at my adress since it's a building but I have a specific apartment number. They didn't even verify and said to go make a police report. While I was waiting in line I WITNESSED THEM GIVE ANOTHER PACKAGE TO THE WRONG RECEIVER BUT THANKFULLY THE RIGHTFUL OWNER WAS ACTUALLY BEHIND HIM IN LINE AND RECOGNIZED THE PACKAGE. I contacted Purolator and they didn't even care to look further and gave me the same answer the depot did. My package is worth a lot of money and not 1 person wants to admit that Purolator might have actually messed up on this one and gave my package to someone with a different apartment or didn't verify the names or ID properly. I will escalate this as high as I can because I refuse to let them make me think I'm crazy and that "someone I know" must have picked up my package. Absolutely the worse service and depot to go to. I am disgusting by the lack of customer service in person and phone
Purolator was excellent until the old driver retired. Now we have parcels dropped at a depot 20 miles from the address on parcel. Latest parcel is held somewhere, we don't know where
The absolute worst delivery company and good for nothing customer service representatives. Delivery guy does not even knock or ring the doorbell and leaves a note saying they missed me. Useless company, waited all ay for them to deliver the package and customer support is useless. They have no idea what is happening and so called supervisors are also useless. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. Don't waste your time. I'm sure someone will reply to this by asking me to send my tracking ID which I will do but I know it is useless. What a joke of a company.
This $#*!ty service didn't bother knocking on the door, left a note on my door to pick up my package.
I received a notice on my door from Pulolator saying my package (A Dell desktop computer) was available for pick up. I was told I would need Valid government issued ID. Or I would not be able to pick it up. I went to pick it up and was told by the lady working there that she had already given my package to someone who DID NOT have valid government issued ID. Her claim was that someone had come there with my reference number and showed her a picture on his phone of a license that had my name and address and his picture (likely a photo- shopped license that anyone can make). This is NOT Valid ID so why would she give it to this person?. I was told I could only get this item if I had ID which I do. But her claim is she gave it to someone who didn't have the paper notice that was left on my door and didn't have ID. Now Purolator refuses to help me or take responsibility. Meanwhile I'm out $1300. What a joke!
Only have had bad problems with them. Weather delays when it's nice out. Inaccurate delivery times. Wouldn't not recommend
My complaint is really two part: I ordered what I thought was local flowers from Bloomex to my sick daughter in Kelowna. Turns out that they were not local at all, and the shipping date of Monday, Feb. 28 was impossible to begin with. In the end, they gave me a full refund, but the real problem was Purolators fault for the most part. I could have accepted an extra day in delivery of the flowers, and everything would have been fine, but for whatever reason, the driver ran out of time. One would think that Tuesday deliveries that were incompleted would be first to finish for Wednesday, but it didn't work that way. Instead Wednesday they unloaded those deliveries back to the warehouse, and then delivered Thursday. Thursday, they left a note on her door to come pick up in the warehouse cos for whatever reason, they didn't want to leave them on the doorstep. My sick daughter went down to Purolator later that day to pick up and said they were not at the warehouse as of yet and to come back the next day. The next day she went back to the warehouse but for whatever reason, they decided to put them back on the truck to redeliver. Then they lost them. Saturday they put a tracer on them, and by Monday, I pleaded that the flowers would be dead, and couldn't they just buy a new bundle and stuff it in the jar that was part of the arrangement and make it right. Tuesday they found the dead arrangement and teddy bear, and I called them to leave a message for the driver to please just leave it on the doorstep and again, asked them to replace the flowers - buy a small bunch of tulips or something fresher, for all the trouble they caused. They said they couldn't replace the flower for whatever reason, and hopefully, she gets the dead arrangement in the jar, with the card and bear today but I am not holding my breath as it has been over a week now. Totally useless! They have no way to relay any messages to the drivers unless you call the day of, and then they text them. They need to improve their system on so many levels including allowing the driver to see notes and make notes regarding each delivery. It would have been helpful in this situation. Anyways, unacceptable, no responsibily for the screw-ups and such a disappointment!
Unfortunately one of the bad company in my experience. Never try to reach to the customer only posted that customer is not available. This is what they do their business and ruins others day while waiting.
No way to reach customer service. No way to talk to them, employees at pickup location get annoyed if you ask them how to resolve this issue.
They always have "natural disasters" yet every other courier delivers just fine. Been waiting 10 days for a package from 4.5 hours away that got delayed for a "natural disaster" while sunny and clear weather, no war, no convoy, no nothing, finally got it resent with Fedex and had it overnight with no disaster. I'm on the hook for 750$ now to return the other one when it arrives from PuroLater which now has been sitting not moving, no updates from the "natural disaster". Absolutely pathetic company.
I don't generally complain about anything but I have to say my experience with purolator definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered a tv to replace my old one through Amazon and was informed it would arrive by the 20th of January. By the 25th of January it still hadn't arrived. Purolator kept telling me they had the incorrect address which I find difficult to believe because my other amazon deliveries arrived before and after without issue. I even updated my address with Purolator TWICE but they continued to tell me that they could not deliver due to a wrong address? I've come to the conclusion that they use this practice to cover delays on their end. I would not have written this negative review if they had just been honest from the get go and told me that they were back logged and wouldn't be able to make the delivery date.
Horrible company, I have a package that was supposed to be delivered by January 10th. It arrived in Winnipeg which is 350km from me on January 5th and hasn't moved since according to tracking. 17 days later I still don't have it even after having a trace put on it. Then they send me an email stating how there is delays happening etc, which doesn't tell me anything. What 350 km away and it can't make it to me in 17 days and counting? Purolator is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. I will now be posting a review with the better business bureau. They should be accountable for their screw ups. Now I have emailed them a few times and no response, no mention of what's going on with the trace at all. Where's my package Purolator? Or a refund? After reading all the other reviews I have come to realize how useless Purolator is and agree with other reviews that they should not be in business. I wish I could give less than 1 star because they are not even worth one. I do not recommend Purolator to anyone, go elsewhere.
Jan. 22 2022 Still waiting for Xmas gift from Wpg. MB from brother to me here in BC. Poor service very disappointed!
Wow - just spent forever on hold so used the chat option. Couldn't understand her explanation so I asked her some specific questions and she just copied the exact same words she said before and then told me "I can't say the same thing over and over" and ended the chat.
This company has wasted so much of my time and money and I'm still waiting for my package. Who is the third party company that has my package? No one at the office knows where my package is. No one on the phone knows where it is? I'm paying way to much to have this package held hostage somewhere. It's a week late. I have items in the package I need to work. So, I'm loosing even more then the overpriced shipping.
Do not use this low quality company.
I will no longer buy from any company that uses Purolator to deliver packages. They conducted an "investigation" on my lost package. The conclusion? It was delivered. Where's my package then? Between being kept on hold forever and all the emails sent back and forth, I am beyond frustrated. Companies: If you want to retain customers do not use Purolator.
I have never had Purolator actually buzz my apartment to deliver a package.
I even called one time, had the rep confirm the driver was told to buzz, put a sign on the door to buzz and watched out the window all day and he STILL tried to drive away without even getting out of his truck. I literally chased him down as he started the vehicle to get my package.
If they would put in even an iota of effort to buzz the number on the package, that would be great.
But as it stands, I weep everytime something I order has the misfortune of being handled by Purolator.
Answer: Same answer, NO I CAN'T say anything good about the worst shipper in Canada if not the world.
Answer: Dont bother. Train your people how to use doorbell. Common sense is not so common. If Canada post, Fedex and UPS can, why cant PuroLATER or PuroNEVER use the doorbell? During these hard times, the lease you can do is deliver the package in the most sensible way. Do it right the first time. If others can, why cant you? We need our packages and not your promises. Your company is a big joke. Modern pirates of our age.
Answer: Might as well be a scam. They cannot perform what they say they can.
