They made a mistake and shipped my dress to another country and refused to give me a refund! By far the worst website in the history of all websites. How do you send someones dress to Vatican City when I clearly said Virginia. If you're looking for a dress go to PromGirl.com they are a US based company and ships super fast!

I purchased my dress which was $200 and it is a piece of crap. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture they have advertised and the material is no where near what it should be. This website is a SCAM and they will not allow me to return the ugly, cheap, ripped, and disgusting gown the sent me jumbled up in a small envelope. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. Now I have 1 week to figure something out. By the way, my 1 rating should be a -100.

Don't ever order a dress from Prom Diary! My daughters dress arrives and looks NOTHING like what was shown on the web site. To add insult to injury- the beads were coming off, threads hanging, ripped and no zipper! WTH! Now one week to find another! Called the number on the invoice and surprise surprise- the number is invalid ad it looks like the half $#*! dress came from China! I have sent several emails to customer service with photos of the damage to only receive a response from "Sandra" saying to keep the dress and they will reimburse me 10% of the total I paid for compensation! Really? I paid over $200! So now I will be contacting a lawyer, the Better Business Bureau and the news media! These people and this company is a joke!

I ordered a plstand size 6 prom dress and it was shopped promptly... that's as good as I can say about them. The dress was not true to size or even trie to their sie chart. When I tried to return it they gave me a run around and wanted me to send pix which were obvious that the size was incOrrect. Then they Finally agreed to refund it buthe I by half what I paid. Luckily for me I was able to sell it to someone else a size smaller than what I ordered - who, by the way, had also ordered frim promdiary, only to have their dress rip when they put it on. Save your money and do not order from this place!

Okay so I'm the one that reviewed talking about the customer service being amazing. Well I just receive my dress today about an hour ago. They told me I would get my dress before Saturday and they were right. And I am so Happy. The dress is basically close to the exact replica of the pictures Online. But the only bad thing about it is that it don't fit quite right. It's not too big it's about 1 size too small on my hip/thigh area. I did email them my custom size and my hips are quite wide and I do have a butt. Even tho it came a size too small I did fit into just a lil Bit snug. I just need to watch what I eat since my prom is next Saturday. But reading these reviews had e scared half to death that this would be a nightmare. But it's amazing not Halloween costume looking not a train wreck it's just right. I think since I really got in contact with them back and forth throughout this whole process that's Why my experience was different from these other reviews. Oh and I didn't order an ugly lace dress. I hate lace dresses :)

I ordered my prom dress off this site without doing any research and when I read the reviews I was so scared that this site was a scam. But I was actually pleasantly surprised when I found out this site is not as bad as I thought. When my mom and I emailed customer service about the progress of my dress they replied fast and very kindly. My dress arrived two weeks earlier than they had originally said and when I saw it, it was beautiful. Of course it's not going to look exactly like the picture but it is pretty close. The beads are a little different, but the placement is very close to the actual picture, and the back is gorgeous. One piece of advice I have is that you should definitely know your size before you order. I used the size chart and my dress came a couple sizes too big so I am hoping to get it altered soon. Overall although the experience was a little stressful I'm very happy with my dress.

I placed the order then saw all of these reviews and was SCARED until it arrived. I paid extra to get it here on time, and true to their word I received a text from DHL the day before it was promised and it arrived on the promise date. The dress is a little too big and a little too long but we have an appointment with a seamstress to take care of that as my daughter was between sizes so I ordered the larger. Easier to go down than up. I got scared when the dress was delivered and I saw the DHL Envelope. When ordering make sure you plan time to have the dress pressed because it will arrive with wrinkles. No problem though, the price make the extra effort worth it. The detailing on the dress is beautiful.

Well I got home and the wrong dress was here I flipped out called everyone and then I realized DHL sent someone else's dress to me that lived down the street so we called them and let them know then they came back got the other dress and delivered mine and it was beautiful I love it I was so scared because i ordered the dress before I read the reviews and they scared me to death I was so worried but I'm happy I took the chance because my dress is great quality and beautifully made!

Please DO NOT order from this website. We purchased my daughters prom dress on this website and just like most of the other reviews, the dress does not look like the one that she ordered. I tried the "live chat" and inquired on how to return the dress and get a refund. I was asked to send pictures to prove the issue. After I responded on where I needed to send the pictures in to, the person named Jelly on the live chat stopped responding to me. This website is a disaster and although it may look legit, it's the furthest thing from it.

You know there is something to be said about buying US. #1 Standard procedure is 100% customer satisfaction or full refund. No muss/no fuss. #2 Customer service # you can actually call when u have a questions or concerns. #3 US employees. #4 you will get your product when promised (and won't be stressed out). #5 shipping pre-paid for all returns...#5 Quality of the workmanship. Until Prom DIary revises their return policy to be more customer focused, provides better ways of contacting them for customer service (i. E 800#). I will not recommend them or use their services or products.

I didn't think to check for reviews for the site until I already purchased my dress, and the fact that the dresses were pretty cheap worried me! BUT i just received my dress and everything is just how I wanted! I love it! The only thing is I have to get it taken in a little to fit me better but that's no problem. Also I emailed them when I read these reviews because I was getting worried and they told me I would receive my dress before the 18 as planned and I did! They say 15-20 days and I got mine on the 15th day. I have to say that I am very pleased!

The quality of the lace and beading on the bodice is atrocious. It's not just poor quality material but is sewn on haphazardly with portions of the backing of the lace cut out. The beading is unbalanced with multiple sections completely missing on the right side.

Immediately upon opening the package I sent a note to their customer service asking for guidance in returning. Each reply was polite but unsatisfactory. The best they could do was "allow" me to pay to ship it back (35$ shipping to receive it so I'd guess a similar amount to return) and get their max refund of 50% of the cost of the dress. The other offer was 10% of the dress cost without returning. I doubt I'll ever see that refund.

Lesson learned... do not purchase from this company.

Follow up... I never received the 10% refund as I'd predicted. My advise is to just not use this site.
