Wasn't familiar with Mandolin Bay and needed a room. Went online and found a room for an upcoming concert I am attending. Says I have a confirmation, but still shaky using this site for the first time, that is, until I am actually in the room. Wish me luck.

We found great hotels at better prices. Easy booking so far. Look forward to our stay. There was a strange request from my friends reservation though - they told her it wouldn't show booking until an extra security check was done? Never have heard of that.
I was skeptical about booking through Prestigia because it was so much cheaper than the other main sites and I never heard of them before. So I called the hotel a couple of days later to confirm my reservation and sure enough, it's legit! My only gripe is that the actual resort fee was about 13% higher than what was quoted during booking. Also, once it's booked, the receipt only shows how much I paid for the rooms and no mentioned of the resort fee. That felt little sketchy to me but other than that, it's all good!

The website didn't provide information regarding whether the rooms have refrigerators and/or microwaves. Since I'm a diabetic, I have to have a refrigerator for my insulin and it's helpful to know in advance of making the reservation whether these are in the room. It also said you could pay an extra fee for breakfast but didn't say how much the extra fee was and I couldn't find anywhere on the website where you could add the extra fee to get breakfast. I'm awaiting a response but did make a reservation.
