I recently placed and order for a power steering pump for my 2003 Mercedes SL 55 AMG for approximately $1102. 00. I created both a billing address and a shipping address, since I am out of town and needed my car repaired had the part shipped to my garage. I need the car repaired since I moving in 2 weeks. At the time I placed my order there was no obvious notification of any special rules for first time customers, the order was accepted Shortly after ordering I received an email that my order was on hold since I was a new customer they had to ship to my billing address or they could ship to the alternate address if I had that address added to my card. I responded and said I was ok with shipping to my billing address. I then received another email stating that I had to send a copy of my drivers license with matching address to my billing address since my order was over $500 I had moved and did not update my address since I will moving out of state shortly. Parts Geek will not cancel the order, although they immediately put a hold on the order, and could not have packed the order - reason listed for non cancellation on web site. They have processed the transaction and will send the order. I just want my order canceled and refunded my money in a timely manner I am not sure how this company has an A rating based on all the complaint.
Customer service is rude and annoying. They lost a sale for $800 worth of parts at least just because the jackass I spoke to did not have the patience to look for the part I needed.
Finally received my part after waiting forever, ripped apart my dash and the part didn't fit. Sent the complete wrong part and terrible customer service.

Ordered a x5 reciver hitch it came with 2 pcs of cardboard taped around it and it was in touch shape bare metal in some spots paint peeling off and the forgot to send the hardware. Last time I'll order from them!
Ordered a part based on photo and received different part. Idiot in terrible customer service department named Mark told me not to go by the photo (why have a photo then). Incredibly stupid that the part in the photo is only a stock photo and is NOT what you will receive. A pre-paid shipping label is far less cost than the business you will lose from me.

Placed an order for 4 brake rotors, 2 front struts, and an air filter for a 2008 Subaru Outback from this company. Came to $345.16 with shipping and tax. Then remembered rockauto.com. Checked their prices and could've saved probably close to $100 and gotten the parts in 3 days as opposed to as many as 7 days. Next time I know.
I ordered 2 rotors for my cadillac seville got the rotors they were wrong reviewing my order everything was right called them they were rude and basically told me to f off will never buy anything from these low life prices agin
Went to buy wheels for my car. Website said they had 4 in stock. Made the order. Received two. Waited another week. Called them, they said wait. Another week. Called again, they said the other two were being drop-shipped. I said that they claimed they were in stock. Another week. Called again and they said they'd look into it. Next day I get a refund notice that the two that weren't shipped were refunded. I called and said what am I going to do with 2 wheels? They said I could return them but shipping was on me. When I tried to ask why the "manger" I was speaking with hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the same guy who argued with me that he didn't hang up on me, and that I had finished speaking (how the hell would he know? I still had questions!) He then became belligerent, interrupting me constantly, and said he didn't care about my business. Absolute WORST service I've ever experienced. Totally got ripped off. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
Order a new part for my 89 Dodge Dakota Sport, received the part and took truck in for installation, after taking the part off they realized I had received the wrong part. When I tried to send it back they told me I had ordered the wrong part, and return shipping was my responsibility because I had ordered the wrong part. Tried to explain to the CS rep, but all he kept saying is you ordered the wrong part, I tried to e plain I did not give them a part number, just the description of my truck, again stated I ordered the wrong part, he then hung up on me. I will never order another part from them nor will I recommend them to anyone.
I ordered two hatch struts and a console latch. Shipping was somewhat slow, but parts arrived in good condition as ordered. I received both struts and the latch for $30 less than ONE strut was priced with our Ford dealer. Very pleased with the order... they were also the brand as the original struts on the car. Not an after market brand.

Ebay purchase of two lower control arm bushings. A shoebox would have been much more adequate in size than what was needed. After all, they are not fragile. They arrived in a box that could have easily protected a desk top computer. The only problem is during shipping, some FedEx Goober used this oversize box as a ladder. One end was smashed and open. Only 1 of the 2 bushings was in the box. Of course PG would refund, but I only had 1 of 2 ordered items. So a return was out! FedEx also gave me the middle finger since I was not the shipper. I will avoid PG in the future and do my best to stay away from FedEx as much as possible.
I needed a mercedes heater pipe which there website had, i was going to order on Amazon or Ebay but this site offered overnight for $34.95 on a $16.00 part. I selected Mercedes original double checked the part number to make sure its the right one. Part arrived 4 days later (today). Opened the box and they did send a heater pipe for a mercedes. But the wrong one. Tried calling and they are closed. Submitted a ticket and leaving bad review. And it what it cost me is priceless, since the wait cost me my entire weekend away from family stranded.
I ordered a Ford shift tube assembly and received a Timing Chain Tensioner instead and I then was forced to pay return shipping. These idiots don't know what the hell their doing!
Poor Customer Service and no sense of responsibility. Ordered 4 four rotors and they only shipped 3. Called customer service and was told that their warehouse was researching and that they would get back to me by the end of day. They did not follow through with the commitment to call me back. I called back two days later and still no update; was told that they were still researching and I should expect a call back in 24 to 48 hours. I have no expectation that they will follow through.
The proper way to solve this is the look up the shipping weight from the carrier and if the weight is less than expected send another rotor out.
Ordered a battery vent tube, received a dipstick. Requested the right part be sent to me. I was asked to provide a picture of what was sent. I did that. Still didn't get the part sent to me that I ordered and paid for. But they sent me a return label for the part they never sent at all. Very unorganized and very rude, my bank is reversing the charges they made to me. Very fraudulent company.
