The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation among customers, primarily due to significant issues with order accuracy and return processes. Many reviews highlight frustrations over receiving incorrect parts and the subsequent difficulty in obtaining refunds, with customers often bearing return shipping costs for errors not of their making. Additionally, the customer service experience is frequently described as inadequate, characterized by long wait times and unhelpful responses. While some customers noted prompt delivery of the correct items, the overall sentiment reflects a lack of reliability and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternative suppliers.

Their policy is if you want a credit on your core return, you must ship it within 30 days.before you can ship your return, you must request a RFA number from them.they charge you for the core at part purchase then don't send you a RFA number and let the 30 days time out,and tell you its
Their policy that they can't except you return.they just scammed me out of $150.I filed a complaint with BBB.
Hello everyone i made an order online last night around 12:15 am next morning one of my orders was not in stock but on the site as available purchased part alone with the other parts needed to complete my full brake job check my email part is out of stock called after waiting on hold for 30 minutes i was helped by a phone rep which made it clear that i can not exchange this order for one that is in stock i asked why he said he has to cancel this one and i would have to pay again then i will receive my refund i then asked him i would have to cancel the hole order as there will be mixed parts that i would have to buy elsewhere he then explained that that's how it is everywhere and that i cant cancel none of my items as it has been over one hrs. Of purchase i then explained how is that possible as i have made this purchase after work hrs. He then said that i would have to wait for the order to be shipped to refuse order to then wait for it to process as a return before they issue a return to your card in other words you are trapped to stay with parts as that is a extensive colling period most people wont return like my self please be aware they are sharks and will ruin your order that you need with parts online they don't carry terrible place to buy online don't believe the 30 day return policy clearly does not work that way they define that rule with dirty sales tactics i would not recommend this place to my enemy...
I ordered a part with there sales rep and they sent the wrong part. The part did not even go with my vehicle and I am not sure what vehicle they were for. I asked to return and they said "As stated on our website, all parts and cores must be returned within 30 days of purchase with a valid RMA number. We do not accept any returns after 30 days, with no exceptions."
So if they screw up they WILL NOT HONOR ANYTHING!
TERRIBLE COMPANY!
Please save yourself from extreme frustration and avoid Partsgeek.com. I ordered parts incorrectly and asked about exchanging them shortly after their 30 policy. They refused and then deleted my order history. There are way too many other places to order parts from that actually respect customers. I can guarantee that I will tell everyone I encounter at shows, auctions and other events about their poor service and shady business practices. It's a shame as my friends and I are totally redoing older cars and need many parts.
I have used PartsGeek Several Times. The few times I have had to call In there representatives were super awesome and helpful. I guess they cost to much because now they have to be using people from out of the country in India they hardly speak English.
Headline says it all. I ordered a lower control arm set that their website said would fit my vehicle, when they arrived and I finally got a chance to swap out the parts, they had no chance at fitting. I ended up having to get the parts locally in a pinch which cost hundreds of dollars more than I needed to pay. Tried to hide behind a policy when I called them out on it and wouldn't approve a return.
Buyers be aware, do not buy from partsgeek they advertise parts and they do not have it, wasting time and money to costumers, if your car broke down do not buy from this company
I ordered my parts through Santiago Muriel. I received a part that does not fit my car. I found out about this from a mechanic who had already installed brake pads for me, but the brake Rotors did not fit
I cant remove the brake pads now to send them back, I will have additional costs at the mechanic. It's not my fault the agent sent me the wrong parts. The agent asked me for the VIN number. I provided the VIN number and received the wrong parts anyway. Supervisor Valentina Zornosa was not helpful at all. Stay away from the company.
I order one part for my car, I received and got charged for two of them, when I tried to return the one I didn't need they told me to sell it on eBay or Amazon because they won't take my item back.
I would not buy from them they been dragging me for three month on a return still nothing all i get is we are working on it oh its not us its the warehouse so i would use caution if you are thinking of buying
First they charged me twice for a product, then the customer service just kept telling me to wait because it was a mistake and it would be refunded. I still haven't gotten my refund. To make matters worse they don't ship the item when you order it it sits in their warehouse for an unknown period of time. I don't know how long because it's still sitting there as I type this review. They are theifs and I don't recommend doing business with them.
Order a wrong parts. Contact them right away. Told me unable to cancel the order but I can refuse the deliver to get refund but shipping company said they put a restrictions on the package makes unable to refuse
Parts Geek sent the wrong items and refused to replace them or issue a refund because I could not complete the transaction within 30 days of purchase. The representative I spoke to suggested a competitor for the parts need because he did not have confidence in his company's ability to supply what I needed.
I ordered a 1996 Ford F150 tank and pump. This was a supposed kit sent separately. The tank arrived and was installed successfully while waiting for the pump. The pump arrived, but was not for a 1996 Ford F150. After contacting Parts Geek, they will not take the pump back (even though this is their error) without the tank. Since the tank has been installed, they wont take the tank back leaving me with a pump for an unknown vehicle. I'm expected to pay for another pump which I have zero faith that the correct part will come since this is not my first experience with Parts Geek sending the wrong part and dealing with return issues. Seems folks should be warned to assume Parts Geek will Always send the wrong part and give folks a very hard time with returns. Sad business model and lack of customer care. I've spent thousands of dollars with Parts Geek to be treated like this is very disappointing.
My experience with Parts Geek has left me feeling disappointed and cheated. While the alternator I ordered was supposed to fit my 2012 Honda Accord Exl V6. The website said it was the proper part for my car. I am a pretty good do-it-yourselfer. I own a very successful handyman business. I am good with houses but, cars not as much. I didn't realize that the lower bracket of the alternator didn't fit inside the bracket on the engine and I mounted the top bracket /bolt first and I assumed that the base of the alternator was properly aligned when I slid the bolt in and tightened it. Since it didn't fit right the bolt wasn't holding the lower part of the alternator in place and eventually came loose and sheared the top bolt off and the whole alternator came loose. When I explained the issue to parts Geek they basically said tough luck dumbass it was your fault for not figuring that out when you installed so we aren't going to help you and you can use your worthless alternator that didn't fit your car right in the first place as a paper weight. I will NEVER EVER order anything from them again and like I told them, I will take every opportunity to bad mouth that crappie company to whom ever will listen to me rant.
Seems like I'm not alone in getting ripped off by this company! I spoke with a "Parts Specialist" before placing an order and he assured me the part was OEM and definitely came with the gasket seal so I ordered and had my mechanic replace the Solenoid on my car. The Mechanic noticed that the parts that I received was missing the gasket and Mesh screen, but he installed the part and sent me pictures so that I can get back on the road. When I reached out to inform them that they sent me a fake part even though the box and paperwork inside had the exact image of the part, what's inside did not match! I asked for some form of refund as my mechanic told me they sent me a cheap part and not OEM. They said that I could return the part, in order to get a refund, but it was already installed and I would have to pay double for it to be removed again which leaves me with a non-working car!. Then Partsgeek rep had the nerve to tell me to source the missing mesh screen/gasket locally and provide them with a receipt for the missing parts? How can you be a parts store and not have the missing part and then ask your customer to go out and find it?
Do not order from Partsgeek.com! I will be posting negative reviews and reporting to BBB/Consumer Protection agency/FTC for sure!
This was my first experience with PartsGeek. The box they shipped the heavy items in was flimsy and not able to withstand the Fedex experience. There was no shipping label inside. I ordered a set of front brake pads and 2 front rotors. The package came with the pads, one rotor, and a package of ethernet cables for computers. It had been smashed and retaped a few times.
When I tried to call them they did not answer the phone. The tried to email me. Then they said that I had to return all of the parts and reorder them all. I would have to pay for the return shipping and take it to Fedex. The supervisor that I finally got ahold of was named Gustavo and it was clear that he could not possible care less about any of this. I would have to wait 3 days for a response from customer service or the supply center for instructions or an RMA number.
This is not the company that you want to be dealing with.
I should have read company reviews before ordering a blower for my truck. They sent the wrong brand that was clearly a used return from a ford dealer as the shipping label on the inside box shows it was not from the manufacturer. It was also cracked. Customer service is in India. Although I couldn't understand them well, they seemed to keep repeating the same script about "company policy" with no regards to anything I was saying.
Ordered some headlights, received and installed only to find they didn't fit. Had purchased through sales agent guaranteeing fit but they won't accept return if part has been installed even though that's the only way to tell if it works. Very displeased m
I ordered a valve cover gasket and it looked liked the right one but it wouldn't fit. Next I ordered a v belt it was described as a Gates it was a cheaper version and it broke with less than a month. Next I ordered a set of shocks for my pickup as I was doing the research I received a link to purchase those shocks they claim they never got an invoice number are received payment but on my bank statement it says parts geek. I don't like leaving negative feedback for no company but be aware I wouldn't buy anything else from them
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
