They sent me the wrong ignition coil and said that the only way to rectify it was to send it back and re-buy it. I bought 6 of a different brand and they sent me 5. This pattern combined with the 1000+ negative reviews should be more than enough evidence that this company ships the wrong things on purpose and is predatory.
I got onto rock auto website, and somehow it linked me to parts geek.com. I don't know how it happened but it doesn't sound legit to me. I ordered a tail light for my Kia Sedona and they sent me some gigantic thing for a truck. And when I called customer service, they couldn't do anything but send me an email that will ask me to send a picture to make sure that I got the wrong light. They sent me the wrong one and they want me to prove it. Bad business practices poor customer service located in Taiwan run to the Hills don't order ever from this company. The pictures below will show my small little light, and that they are gigantic monstrosity that they sent me.
I ordered a brake caliper and they charged me a 35 dollar core charge said send the core back and get the money back i asked about return label said call get a RMA number and will send a return label called 4 times they finally said you pay to send it back really i was told a lie i will not buy another thing from them i have bought plenty they lie to get your money
Purchased new chrome for front of my car because it was missing. I get the parts and they send the chrome piece I ordered and the bolts but not the taps (nuts,) when I reached out to tell them I get this smart elicit response telling me to send photos to prove It and also saying either way they will not make it right because they don't split up other packages. So that's fine, take my money and don't offer a service you assured me of. I'll buy the taps but beware of parts geek. Customer service is a joke.
This is a follow up on an order put in on the 9th of February. It is now the 24th, still no movement in shipping. Followed up with them and was told they will do a tracer investigation that will take another 21days maximum for results, not necessarily receiving parts. When asked for a refund they said they could not allow a refund and must wait for investigation process to complete! Spoke to Supervisor and gave me the run around, bottom line I can't get a refund or sent a replacement part while they wait for investigation. Meanwhile my car is parked and I can't get to work. In other words they have money in a hostage situation. Worst business service I have ever dealt with! Bad Bad Bad Business, warning do not purchase from this company!
Waited over 2 weeks for the parts, was sent wrong ones after providing my vin #. I Had a hard time shipping back after going to several fedex because the boxes they were packaged in from them have a hazardous label because it's supposed to come with fluid that this company takes out before they ship to you. They received the parts back and did not refund me after waiting a week, once again had to waste my time calling their horrible customer service. After several attempts through emails and calls again I got a partial refund, then once again several calls and emails… I received a partial refund for $177.05 I was told they gave me a full refund which I did not. Parts were $354.09 and I got $177.04. I finally called my bank but it has been nothing but aggravation for over a month. Ordered parts 1/06 and it's now 2/17. I will tell everyone I know about them and let the better business bureaus know too. Never had such a bad experience in my life with any online company. Whenever you talk to customer service they do nothing! They say they have no way to contact the warehouse other than email and everything has to go through them, then you get you will get a response between 24-48hrs and get nothing. This company is a total scam!
On top of all that they took my money day 1 when I placed the order they sent me a email saying I needed to send a copy of my driver's license because of fraudulent orders, after I sent that 2 days later get another email saying they need a picture of a bill with my name and address. Both of these emails I had to wait 48 hrs upon them receiving them before they would ship the parts. I should have cancelled the order right then but they told me it would be up to 14 days for my refund.
The part I ordered came in completely wrong, it didn't match the description or the product photos. The reflection in the mirror was extremely distorted, like a fun house mirror and was so cheaply made that it had large gaps and made whistling noises as I drove. Contacted customer service and they requested the same photo over and over, with a new rep replying to each response. Eventually they told me it was my problem and to deal with it. I've opened a dispute with my credit card company. I've since read other similar reviews and only wish I'd seen them before ordering. I also left a review on the product itself that they never published or simply removed the negative review. Worst company I've done business with in a very long time.
I ordered a part it was wrong. I need a front mount for the fuel tank. They sent me a side mount with screws. I sent it back and it's been 2 weeks trying to get a refund. The part wasn't even out of the package...now they need to inspect it to see if it qualifies for a return. 2 weeks. I was given a time limit on returning and being received back in to inventories...by the time they inspect it and decide if it's eligible for return it will be after the date to be returned!
I followed all of their return nonsense and included a picture of what the part should have looked like.
So I ordered a new OEM exhaust for my car. There were 2 parts the right side muffler which is all one piece all the way up to the cat and the left muffler that connects at the rear axle(all wheel drive). Their website said everything was in stock. The right side of the exhaust was not in stock but was only mentioned after I ordered. Seeing that I went to cancel the left muffler soon after but was told it was too late to cancel. About a week later it arrived and after inspecting noticed it was the wrong part. I requested to return the item which took them a few days to process. They did not give me a shipping label to send it back even though it was the wrong part. Ended up paying $70 to send it back to them. It got to their warehouse on a Friday. They didn't acknowledge its arrival until the Tuesday after. And after that it took an extra day to give me the refund. They did not cover any of the shipping back to them. Will not be ordering from them again.
Wrong part was shipped and of course it doesn't fit. It's brand new in original packaging but PartsGeek.com refuses to fix their error and replace it since it was delivered more then 30 days ago, how convenient, $80 down the drain. Avoid and go with other vendors which actually care and stand behind their service.

Sold me the wrong part, won't admit fault or send a return label to return the incorrect part. Do yourself a favor and shop with anyone other than Parts Geek. They will not be getting my return business.
They get your money when ordering something,after that don't care if get the parts,if your parts lost they said it's shipping company problem, can't do anything for you.
This is part of their answer! They send me copy of the carrier without signing or picture.!Parts Geek can only file a claim on your behalf but the actual decision is based on the findings by the carrier during their investigation. Please see the attached proof of delivery from the carrier for your reference.

Ordered a pair or rear shock absorbers for my truck. They sent me some random replacement shocks that were not even close to the correct part number. Just a few days after their idiotic 30 day return policy they refused to accept a return. I will never use these idiots again, documented proof of incompetent shipping... somehow its my fault... total losers selling Chinese crap.
Absolutely terrible service. You will wait over 10 days for parts to arrive. Says in stock, however shipping label not created for 5 days. I call them and they say it's on the way. On the way? Where is it? Never again
I order some break pads. They took 4 days to ship even though my card was charged on the day I ordered. When I tried to cancel at first was told it was to far in the process then 2nd person said it would be cancelled, it wasn't. I was told via chat parts would be expedited, nope didn't happen. I refused to shipment and still waiting for my refund. Do a further search and get your parts else ware. The only reason it is a 2 is because my previous experience was a 3 this was a 1 due to poor customer service.

I foolishly have made a few purchases from parts geek. Every time, there has been an issue, and every time, they refuse to make it right.
First, i ordered a ball joint kit for a 92 nissan d21. I found one of the upper balljoints was broken when i opened the package. They told me to take it up with the manufacturer and didnt respond further.
Second, i ordered 2 identical upstream 02 sensors for a 2013 chevy 2500. One of them had a female plug, the other had a male plug. Mind you, identical parts, right down to the part number. This time, they refused to respond to any emails and over the phone, was pretty much told that they dont care, they dont accept returns, take it up with the manufacturer.
DO NOT order from these crooks.

PARTS MAFIA is what thier name should be! Stay away from this company! Ordered a kit and a belt. Only needed one part of the kit. Called several times to return. They could not find me or my order at all in thier system Finally they find my order for the kit but not the belt. Was told not to worry and put the belt with the kit and to include the old part i replaced. I recieved the RMA info email. It cost me over $100 to return everything only for them to tell my my return is being rejected and I would have to pay to have the package returned to me. Paid over 400 for parts, 100 to return and now they want me to shell out another 100 to get it back! Do yourself a favor and buy from your local parts store it's cheaper and safer.
