I recently ordered some parts(April 9,2025). Paid for rapid shipping. Was supposed to arrive by April 11. Parts didn't arrive until April 15. They promise to give me a refund for my rapid shipping fee. Instead they just start avoiding me getting my refund for my shipping due to my package came in late. Don't order here just order on your local parts store.

Wrong size part sent
April 12, 2025

Shipping time was great. Parts came 2 days earlier than expected. Brake pads were the wrong size for my vehicle (front and rear). Have sent back for a refund and am waiting approval. At which point I'll be able to pay a 15% restocking fee in addition to $33 shipping on a $116 purchase. Every education has a tuition, right?

Wrong part
April 4, 2025

Ordered a starter for a 2.0 civic, got one for a 1.8 even though, web page showed it would fit. I even filtered for the 2.0 and still got the wrong part, on top of that I had to pay for return shipping on an item I couldn't use. First time ordering and will be my last. Only found out it was wrong when I had my original starter in hand. Which was lovely

Had radiator installed by mechanic and back to square one with leak. New Rad was sent damaged with pin hole in middle of rad. Shame I lose money absent from work and having to to service twice. I hope to be refunded for rad and incentive for my troubles due to damaged product including waste of $400 service to install.

The drums I purchased arrived out of round. When I tried to return them, they requested a photo of the old ones alongside new ones with the packaging. Eventually I got around to doing all that but it was beyond the 30 days window so my return was not approved. This is not a company that stands behind customer satisfaction, especially when they are at fault.

I ordered a wheel bearing for my ford escape, the part was fine, only the C-Clip was missing. A shame for my second order here… they wouldn't send me the missing part so they offered me a 6$ discount on a 35$+ order. Lame!

Stay away if you are anticipating the date that they give you a check out. I bought items on 19 they said expect delivery date between 24-26 now its the 30th. $#*! service now Im without my vehicle for an extra week because of these con artist. They won't give me my refund now I'll start a formal complaint with my CC as they lied on the delivery that we agreed upon at checkout time.

They should be shut down for lack of costumer service. Deal with Rock Auto at least They answer the phones.
Save your hard earn cash and stay away. I. My opinion They are no better than a crook breaking into your home.

Not great customer service!

Re: ORDER # 8700ND477 (SERVICE TICKET # *******)
The order came, but was missing mounting bushings. I have discussed this with customer service through a chat line and sent pictures as requested and have been told by Parts Avatar that I can request a discount if I want to keep the part or sent it back for a full refund. But I simply want the parts that were supposed to be included in the box. You can't talk to a live person to get any kind of decent response. You would think that a parts supplier would be able to simply sent the missing part. If Parts Avatar want to give me a discount, they should give me the amount it will cost to get the missing part...and then send it to me instead! So much for customer service. I'm still waiting for a resolution. It is up to me to continually prompt customer service for a response. I'm not very impressed.

Part doesnt fit.

I had bought some parts from Parts Avatar which were unfortunately defective on arrival. No problem, just return right?
We emailed Parts Avatar about their return process and we shipped it out using our own money. As soon as the parts reached their warehouse, they stopped replying and start pretending to not see our emails. We haven't received a response in weeks and no refund has been received. It's unfortunate really and will be avoiding all things Parts Avatar related, will also not recommend to family and friends. If you're reading this, buy locally or check Rockauto or other sites, don't say I didn't warn you.

Confused and Wrong

Looking to replace brakes on my Silverado 1500. Based on their Web Fitment Recommendation I bought rotors and pads. Called back because the rear rotors I wanted were back ordered. I provided the VIN and GM replacement part number received directly from GM dealership but their "chat" help could not figure it out. So now I am concerned... so I looked up the parts I had already ordered and not surprisingly there is a problem. This is what they show for the exact same part for the same vehicle taken within 30 seconds of each. So what's the message here... do not trust them to recommend parts either from the web or in the chat. What a waste of time and money.

Late delivery

I have received on July 8th, but I suppose to get them between july2-4th. The only reason that i want to buy a part from you was delivery time. This is not acceptable for business. I prefer to buy them from another local shop and get them all in same day. Your customer service are only said to me 'sorry'. They didn't even try to win me or offer me something to make me feel better. I don't think, i will buy any parts from you.

This item was damaged beyond use due to inventory handling or a return from a previous customer. The delivery was fine, but in lieu of the condition of the carton, packaging, and the parts condition, it's clear that no one at your organization inspected this component before shipping! I am a frequent customer of your firm, but I now have to question any ongoing business and request an immediate return authorization & credit. Additionally would request a confirmation from your firm as to why this happened! Further to these communities, I would suggest that you review my previous purchases from your company...

Trying to RMA on wrong brake pads shipped. Only pads listed on website for vehicle are not correct, had to go to Brembo site to get correct part number for pads for my vehicle after I realized parts avatar shipped wrong pads. Correct pads are available through parts avatar but only by searching with the part number provided by Brembo's website. I contacted company through online chat to discuss issue only to have chat terminated by representative twice. I have a RMA number to return, but I did not get a shipping label to return to you. BE AWARE!

I selected the make and model for my car from their website and I ordered 4 items based on my selection, I received little late and one of the items won't fit my car, I contacted them to return the item, and I discovered that they don't have a phone number and they used international call center [ they have no idea what they are selling and it took me days and days to explain to them the issue, finally they want me to return the item on my expense! SAVE TIME AND MONEY AND BUY LOCALLY.
