I had booked a room through Booking.com. My boyfriend went to the hotel to check in and the hotel said that they don't use Booking.com. I called the the number listed in my confirmation and got OYO. They booked a room with the hotel through them. Long story short the hotel had stopped being associated with OYO and OYO still would book rooms without their hotels permission. I am fighting to get back my money from Booking.com and OYO. OYO lied about the price I was going to be charged. I am very angry at the experience and will be leaving a review on every platform I can find.
I cancelled my reservation June 19th for a July 1 reservation. I was within the full cancellation window and received an email stating I would receive a refund of $408. It is July 3 and I haven't received the refund. I reached out by email and was told they would get back to me. No response. I reached out by phone and was told they would respond soon. No response. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated

I booked a room through booking.com. I got there little after midnight, the manager harassed me for an hour trying to get me to pay him there and not through booking. Saying "I didn't pay for the room" as I showed him proof. He then said he would let me stay and we'll wait and see what happens with payments in the morning. As soon as they knew I was awake, I was harassed about paying him. The charge on my bank account was clearly there "pending" to be posted.
He told me he cancelled booking.com because they "didn't charge the card" and asked me to pay him.
To shut him up for the moment, I did pay and they charged me $3 more than what I had paid through booking.com.
Few hours later, I see on my bank account 2 charges. One from booking and one from the hotel itself.
I went back to the hotel and asked for a refund. I'm still waiting to see if the charge is returned but I was soo disgusted with the place and manager in pajamas looking all dirty with swollen eyes as if he had been drinking all night and just rolled out of bed.
He said he was sorry about the double charge and was telling me to write a good review… That was the biggest joke I've heard. He said he refunded me the charge that they made at the hotel but I just got a notification from booking.com that my reservation was cancelled… Something very fishy is going on there.
I had been driving for 12 hours and just needed a few hours of sleep before continuing my travels south. I was DESPERATE to close my eyes for a few hours, otherwise I would have NEVER stayed there. Look at the pictures attached, you can tell how desperate I was to close my eyes.
I did not cancel!

I DO NOT EVER suggest anyone ever use this company. They are liers and theives! It's all a scam. First time books $29 try over $90 and their customers service is hurendious
I am beyond frustrated with OYO! I had a horrible experience with one of their properties, and instead of addressing my concerns, OYO is siding with the property owner who is lying about my checkout time. The property I stayed in was unsafe and disgusting – broken doors, a broken lock, and NO water in the bathroom.
I checked out at 9:30 AM, but the owner falsely claims I checked out after 1 PM. And guess what? OYO is blindly trusting the owner and ignoring my evidence. I've provided photos and proof of my early checkout, but OYO doesn't care. Their customer service is a joke and doesn't value the safety or satisfaction of their guests.
It's clear OYO doesn't care about its customers. They are more concerned about protecting the property owner than actually listening to valid complaints. This is unacceptable and I will NEVER book with OYO again. Do not trust OYO to handle any issues or provide the support you need. They don't care about you once they've got your money.
They have a good rate but when paid deposit at motel was told it take 7 to 10 business but after 14 business days called and OYO said it take 10 to 14 business days but it now has been 20 business days and was told today that it'll take another 10 to 14 business days and now got holidays to deal with. They are very rude and put the blame on motel when it's then. Will NEVER go through this company again. Be ware They scam ya. They don't deserve any stars unless can do negative ones.
If there was an option of minus stars I would give that! We booked a hotel through oyo, Oyo took payment from us and when we went to the hotel they refused us and denied our booking altogether! We showed them our booking confirmation and payment proof and the hotel said to take it up with Oyo as they are no longer affiliated with OYO. Its been two months we are chasing OYO, and to date they have not responded to our messages, let alone given us our refund! Furthermore they have even wiped up our booking details from their portal! Such cheaters, please stay away!

Terrible experience. Never book this homestay. Both OYO and Narayanam Guest House Homestay are cheater. They denied my booking with OYO on 24/02/2024 to 25/02/2024. They have sold my reserved room for higher price. Homestay owner behaviour was abusive
Bedbugs in all 4 rooms we checked out and very dirty. Even had food left over from prior guests left in the room. The hotel should be shut down. Trouble reaching OYO for refund as well.
I have stayed at the Seaside Oregon location twice and as long as I dealt with the front desk directly it was great. Trying to use their website or call their customer help numbers in a nightmare. I get hung up on, links don't work. The confirmation email will give you a link to cancel but it doesn't work. Way to make someone feel confident about the company. I get email from Oyo. Most recent was spring 40% off so I clicked book now and chose my location I wanted. It showed rooms around $54 a night before tax. So I picked the two nights I wanted assuming 108 plus some tax and the I get confirmation for $268. I was able to Google the hotel directly so I talked to the front desk and she did see the reservation but she said they didn't have any rooms for the amount on the email. She did cancel it. I tried to call the customer service number to see why they are sending me emails with rates that are false and the guy just keeps trying to get me to make another reservation and is not listening to me when I am trying to explain about the emails. Finally I hung up. ANYTIME I call and select #2 to "calling about an existing reservation " the system hangs up. I never gave a credit card number.
OYO is the worst service ever... they have different rates mentioned online and when at the property the owners don't agree to it and want more amount and deny to give rooms. That is the worst experience ever for people traveling from different places and when reached there this is what they face.
The customer service is very pathetic.
It seems like Oyo might be the biggest fraudulent company in India. When my friend and I tried to book four hotel rooms for our senior family members in Mysore, the contact number provided for issues was unresponsive. Despite paying in full, Oyo's customer care didn't assist us in resolving the problem or refunding our money. It's disappointing that Oyo insists on keeping our money despite their fault, and this feels like a clear case of fraud. Consider yourself warned.
Id give no stars if I could. Awful, hotel was rank. When I say it was bad that's an understatement. Mould, I can't even describe the carpet. Dust was thick. Requested a refund ignored. Have tried all ways to contact got a response on messenger saying they'd look into it. Sent photos (see some I've added) but despite several more messages to them they have just ignored me. This was November 23 I contacted them. I can't even say it's bad customer service it just doesn't exist.
They make it hard and deceptive to cancel so they can keep your money. I use the reservation to cancel and they made it seems like it happened. I tried calling to no avail. 5 times. After cancelling the reservation said there is no name or booking number connection which you would precieve as cancelled. I tried calling to make sure and absolutely no answer at all 5 times. Then they say it's a no show. And nothing says I tried to cancel. That's robbery at the business level. Damn terrible
Booked a hotel in pondicherry and paid in full but after reaching hotel they denied entry because they wanted more than double the price advertised on OYO
Booked room for one week at the OYO hotel app at milledgeville Georgia at the super inn suites for one week 329.00. Could not check until 5:00 p.m. got here around 12:00 noon ask the front clerk to look at the room with solicit drugs on the property within 20 minutes had a Rottweiler is trying to eat my service dog the room wasn't even as nice or comfortable as your local police department City jail I tried to cancel they said no. I just left Mount Vernon Kentucky and stayed at the OYO hotel for 3 months and it was very comfortable it was very livable very nice for a two and a half star hotel management Mac and d we're great. So not all Oyo hotels are bad super inn suites here and milledgeville,Ga is not a 1 star getto cell. Management was cool, pleasant, understanding, but OYO customer service! Thief's! Have no clue in satisfying there customers, in order to keep and attaining them. Lost more profit in a long term client, for $329.00 reservation that won't cancel, which I never checked in at, due too checking time here at super inn of Oyo isn't till 5 pm!
OYO corporate customer service are so ignorant, is that may have my $329 right now but I've already reached out to my bank which a pending transaction can always have stopped payment and with the documentation I've never checked in

Remember my fellow travelers, your bank cares about your money and your business more than some company that has a product that you do not want to purchase especially sight unseen by fake b******* pictures that look nothing like the property! So in the end it may take a few days but I'll get my 329 Oyo hotels will not get nothing nor my business and plenty plenty of word of mouth don't ever ever download OYO Hotel app nor, book a reservation in any of the hotels trust me there's plenty of places out there that are not affiliated with a while hotels and are just as inexpensive and most likely better customer service and probably most likely a better room!

Tried to double charge us. Kept telling us the payment didn't go through and would have to pay in person. When we tried to cancel they kept us on hold and gave us the run around until it was passed the cancellation time. After over two hours they said they had no proof in the call logs that we've even called. Scam do not give them your card info
The most disgusting room I've ever seen. Musty, unfinished, paint peeling, cockroaches... the door to the outside wasn't even complete. Do not use.
WE HEARD A MAN SCREAMING IN ELEVATOR AND WE WENT DOWN THE HALLWAY AND THERE WERE STAFF MEMBERS CLEANING THE ROOM AND THEY RADIO DOWN TO SECURITY TO GET THIS MAN HELP. WE FOUND OUT THAT ONE OF THE ELEVATORS WAS OUT SINCE JAN. SUCH A HAZARD. WE ACTUALLY LIKE THE HOTEL BUT WE WANT CLEAR THAT STUFF NEEDS TO IMPROVE.
