I booked with one travel in January to fly to the Philippines to visit my wife last month. I booked with an agent over the phone who found me the best available price for travel as my schedule was flexible. I was made aware that my wife's sxhedule could not line up with the dates I had chosen and called one travel to speak about re-scheduling the flight. They were able to do so emmediately and without an extra fee. As the agent before had done, they found me the best available price. The travel and ticketed went without a hitch and the Airlines that I was booked with, were more than accomodating for the price I paid for my tickets.

Every other Airline or Travel Agency wanted to book me for at a minimum $400 more on the same trip, or weren't able accomodate with vehicle rental or hotel like One Travel was. Very impressed. Since my trip I have tried to find a better price with other Agencies, or methods and have yet to come across another agency for the same flights that could match One Travel. All others were more than $200 dollars more.

Now, it's not generally easy to book travel in Costa Rica on Sansa Air, one of the two airlines in CR (along with Nature Air) for intercity hops on small propeller planes. But when you book through OneTravel, via a listing on Google flights, and arrive only to be told that the agent "hadn't actually checked to see if seats are available," so that you effectively don't have tickets, it's even worse. The Sansa Air folks were quite helpful and actually got us on alternative flights, albeit 9 hours earlier for our return flight, but this isn't the type of excitement that one needs on a vacation.

In the end, we had a nice trip to Costa Rica in spite of OneTravel, not because of them. I would definitely NOT recommend them for flights within Costa Rica. Have no idea whether they perform better elsewhere.

It makes me sick that big businesses like this can manulipulate and steal from people who have their hands tied. Long story short, I changed my ticket dates and I spoke with a rep on the phone and she told me that there wouldn't be a fee to change my ticket I would just have to pay the difference of the ticket and I asked several times and she said the ticket price difference was $235 so I did it but after I got a receipt that the ticket price difference was only $35 and I was charged a $200 fee for changes. I had to call in 3 times and each rep put me on hold for at least 45 minutes and they kept hanging up the phone and then they told me that it didn't matter that they lied to me cause I agreed to pay the $235..

I booked a flight on April 14th, to suprise my family on April 23 after 2 years of not seeing them. 3 days after I booked my flight I get this email notifying me that my reservation was cancelled, I called OneTravel to ask why, and what had happened to the money deducted from my account. Their explanation to this was at the time of purchasing my ticket there were 5 other people buying the same one and since it was 1 ticket left only the lucky one had gotten it. And regarding my money deducted on my account, they told me it wasn't touched, it reflects as taken on the bank statement but in reality it was there, that I should be able to use it on another purchase. I tried purchasing another ticket it shows as declined. I'm beyond enfuriated with this service. I can't believe I'm left with no ticket and not enough money to buy another ticket since now I have to wait 7-10 business days for the money to return to my card. Horrible service. Wouldn't recommend anyone this Travel agency
