I typed "Porter Airlines" MyFlight Search popped on the screen and I did not notice. I booked and gave them my credit card number. I expected a confirmation page to check the flights before the charges went through. There was none. I only realized when I received the confirmation e mail that the date was not what I had intended. I cancelled immediately and I got a confirmation e mail that the funds will be refunded. When I did not receive them I started calling and calling. I was
fro here to there to not avail. It has been 4moth and nothing.
I will be very careful not to book with them again.
ON September 15th i called myflightsearch and Silas answered the call, saying that he was an agent of American Airlines. He frauduletly told me that my confirmation with american airlines was on standby and charged me over $700 to have the seats confirmed. When i called american, they told me this company is a scam, your original confirmation was correct. These people are liars and crooks and do not use them
I booked a nonstop rt flight in Feb 2023. I received an email 3 days before the flight that the flight was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 6-8 weeks. It never came so I called. They said I would receive a refund in 15 days. Never got it. Called again and they said 7-8days. Repeat 3 more times! As of September I still have not received my refund. I called again today and they said I would get it on Monday and hung up. I think they are running scam and will never book from.them again.
I am still waiting for getting my refund from June 19th. It is more than 11 weeks. Even they just canceled my booking. They just said sorry and thats all. Hahahahahaha PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SITE! I dont even want to give a star on their review
I booked a flight with mysearch.com in February.when I got to the airport on April 6 there was no record of my flight.i phoned mysearch.com.they said there was a problem.the flight had not been booked and I would get my money back.I have phoned and emailed multiple times.they keep saying I will get the money back but it never happens...multiple lies with multiple agents.a truly dreadful.company
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY. I have never, in my life, written a bad review. I could not, NOT write one for this company. I cancelled my reservation within 3 minutes of booking it, realizing that it was in American, not canadian dollars (they agreed to refund it right away and sent me a confirmation saying they were refunding). That was on MARCH 10,2023. It has been 6 months and they keep saying it's coming and that there was a mistake and how sorry they are (been hearing this for 3 months)... but I still have not received the refund.
Never thought that I will write such reviews for organization where I worked for a Decade but being forced to do so.
I worked for Xcelserv / My flightsearch.com for years with utmost honesty and dedication towards my work but was forced to leave due to unreasonable delays in Paychecks for most of the employees without any pre-communication. Now even after 1.5 years of leaving the organization the management / owners are unable to arrange funds to pay my dues for over 5 months Paychecks + retrials.
Please wakeup before its late
Have been waiting for over 200 days for my refund (purchased in January and it is now August). If you cancel, immediately dispute the charges! Do not give them the 2 to 3 billing cycles to see a credit on your card because then your card company will say it is out of their time scope. Common reasons for delay include a backlog of refund requests, systems being down, having to process them manually and your bank or credit card company not authorizing refund. I think they figure you will let it go eventually but I call them about every 2 weeks at this point. I don't care how good the price is, run from this company.
I was told my flight was canceled after asking for my eticket many times then they wanted more money to book another flight, I was also told I would get my money back that was three months ago
Don't be fooled by any recent reviews. With the recent addition of AI to the world, I suspect that this is a group of scammers that are taking thousands of dollars from hardworking people that can't afford to lose their money. It's only a matter of time until they piss of the wrong group of people that don't get their money back that will take it out on them in their own ways. Then again, I think that these are the same kind of people. Stay safe and keep away from this fraudulent company.
I wish I would have read reviews, just like many others they canceled my flight, ended up paying $1800 for a flight that was originally $567 and have not been reimbursed. When you call they hang up every time after you give them the flight confirmation for reimbursment and then have random charges here and there after on your account, even email you won't get a response! DO NOT go through these guys for anything!
I Made reservations to Philadelphia on May 8 which they cancelled on me. I was promised A total refund witch is 525.52. I have contacted the company at least 5 times and it seems obvious that My Flight Search doesn't give a rats $#*! about it's customers. I contacted BBB and they will get my refund. I will NEVER use them again.
I booked a flight with this agency in March. They cancelled my reservation the day before the flight and have not processed my return despite my numerous calls and requests. It has been over 4 months! They have confirmed that they owe me a refund in writing but they will not process it. DO NOT USE THEM
I searched February 19,2023 for a round trip flight from Tampa to Key West. This site appears to be the actual airline. In my case Silver Airways. I booked a flight and received confirmation that I was booked and received a booking number. My Credit card was charged by what read "Silver Airways". I go to check in the day before the flight and they had no record of me! I called them and they tried to sell me a ticket for $700! I explained I didn't need a ticket that I already purchased one. I was then told my flight was canceled! It wasn't because a group of my friends are on the flight! The agent claims they only sell "reservations" and the fare they quoted me wasn't available yesterday so they had to cancel my ticket! Complete rip off and a scam. There were no more tickets on my flight with my group so now I have to go in at a later time and travel solo there and back for almost 3 times the cost!
I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GIVE 1 STAR. SCAMMERS BOOKED FIGHTS FOR 3 KIDS GOT TO AIRPORT WAS TOLD THEY DIDN'T HAVE TICKETS. When I call them which I have 8 times they hang up on me or say file a claim with the credit card. They tell the credit card company they won't refund the money. I have been dealing with this since Dec. 2022. Had to buy 3 more tickets right there at the airport. Now I have gotten Bill O'Reilly involved. If anyone can help he can
The company training here is to embrace bookings of which they will arbitrarily cancel and keep your money. When it comes to refunds on cancellations the training is to ignore phone calls and emails of inquiry. The last 12 months posted 85 negative reviews to 3 positive. The fact that Air Canada or any other airline would affiliate themselves with this scam is very troublesome. So you have a culture that is geared solely for scamming the public to the benefit of the cockroaches that run the scam. This is a perfect Market Place piece. Keep you eyes open for it soon to be coming your way. Waiting for a $1685 refund for 2 months, cut off dozens of times I've called and no respond from customer service emails sent. Stay clear of these guys!
We made a booking in May and 2 days before our upcoming trip in June they sent an email cancelling the trip and said they will refund. Tried to contact them and if the called didn't drop, the person i spoke with put me on hold and always asking for my name and number. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MORE INFORMATION than they already stole from you when you made the booking. They had me on hold for 1 hour and I had to hang up but I know they weren't going to come back on the phone to talk to me because by now the same person was answering and recognized my voice and how upset I was. There is no customer service in the fraudulent piece of crap. They set up individuals all over to ensure they frustrate you. They have no intention of giving you back your money and if you are not wise you will give them the additional money to book the flight again and still receive no e-ticket. RUN FAST and AWAY from myflightsearch. They are thieves. SCAMMERS. RUN! I would give a ZERO rating but too bad 1 was the lowest.
They sent and email back in May and said I would received refund by June 30. Of course no refund came. I asked for update they said they will escalate it. I have tried to call and no response. Why have they not been shut down yet. It has now been 5 months. Does anyone know if they are being investigated?
0 STARS FOR THIS COMPANY - JUST LIKE ONE OTHER REVIEW THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DON'T GIVE YOU YOUR E-TICKET AND WHEN YOU CALL TO FIND OUT WHERE IT IS THEY SAY THEY CAN'T GIVE IT TO YOU AT THAT PRICE BUT IF YOU PAY MORE YOU CAN BOOK IT. WHEN YOU SAY NO JUST CANCEL IT THEN THEY WON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK. IT HAS NOW BEEN 4 MONTHS AND THEY NOW HANG UP ON ME OR SAY THEY WILL TRANSFER MY CALL AND THEN I'M DISCONNECTED, OR THEY HAVE SAID SOMEONE WILL CALL FROM REFUNDS AND THEY DON'T. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE THEIVES. HOW HAS THIS NOT BEEN STOPPED YET.
UPDATE...IT LOOKS LIKE I FINALLY RECEIVED MY REFUND ON AUGUST 4TH. Probably because I wouldn't stop calling and emailing. Be persistent. It took 6 months. UPDATE...NO REFUND YET. STILL TRYING TO DEAL WITH CC AND COMPANY. SO FRUSTRATING.
Purchased a flight in jan/23 canceled in March still have yet to get my refund. Emailed multiple times and called multiple times I get put on hold for 30-40 mins with no answer and get hung up on when I speak with a representative. Terrible customer service DO NOT USE website I fly frequently and will NEVER recommend to business associates and friends
They still have not returned my 397 dollars from a flight booked and cancelled on the 28th of April. I was told it was a mistake on their end and I would get the money soon...I call back to follow up and get hung up on...they are not legit, and are and extremely depraved, corrupt and dishonest business. As an active duty service member who travels frequently, I'd say this is the worst of the worst...DONT DO IT...

Answer: That's because they are scamming you. They might let you leave a message, but will only call you back if they think they have an opportunity to get even more money from you.
Answer: File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It will take time and be frustrating, but the BBB will get their attention.
Answer: Because they are not actually reserving your seat. The price they have given you is fictitious. Later they will say that the price has gone up, and you will be left stranded if you do not pay extra.
Answer: We have the same issue with this agency, they say they will refund money but they will not. Worst travel agency ever! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
Answer: I would just call immediately after booking and every day thereafter since apparently them giving you a confirmation number and charging your credit card doesn't guarantee your ticket as in my case.
Answer: This 3rd party site is a total scam. They take payment send flight details but they never send your payment to the airlines. They keep it for themselves! So when you arrive for your flight you're not on it. Book direct to save yourself the hassle and the money that you'll never get back
